Missionary Claire Varda DONATE Hi! I am Claire Varda, a full-time missionary with YWAM's (Youth With A Mission) Learning Center in Kona, Hawaii. I did my DTS (discipleship training school) with YWAM last year. This was a six-month-long school where three months were spent in Kona, Hawaii being trained and three months on the mission field (I was able to go to the Middle East!). During this time, my love and intimacy with the Lord grew and He gave me dreams of becoming a teacher full-time on the mission field. The Learning Center (TLC) is a school for missionary kids at the YWAM base. Their mission statement is "teach kids in missions, training teachers in missions." This is an amazing opportunity to teach at TLC because it will equip me for my future missions work. TLC also will help launch me into full-time missions when the Lord calls me to go! This is not a season of waiting to go, but preparing to go international. Everyone at YWAM is a volunteer which means no one is paid, even the teachers and staff. Along with teaching at TLC, I am attending college online through Southeastern Univerity to get a Global Education Degree. With all of this said, I would love for you to partner with me in prayer! Missionary Terry Chon DONATE Hello! I am Terry Chon a Korean American missionary based in the Philippines at this current time. I finished my DTS in the Philippines (Discipleship Training School) on February 2025 and decided to stay and staff with YWAM Impact because of the vision I had received from God during my stay here. I saw our base growing into a missional hub where the Philippines will not only be a missions receiving nation but a missions sending nation. I wanted to honor that vision with pure obedience and dedication to God, so my main mission is to grow our campus/base so we can host more Schools meaning we get more students which could potentially also grow our staff as well. I have joined our operations department here at our base so I can help bring that vision into fruition with our operations team. With our steadily growing base it’s in a very transitional period right now with really bringing up all the staff so we can go on tour in the Philippines and have everyone capable of doing many things involving missions by having them have their hands in every role as they grow. My time here in the Philippines will eventually come to an end when I reach the vision I had with God and I just wanted to share what comes next. God has been really pushing Korea into my heart and has been stirring it mainly involving North Korea but it would be Korea as a whole I believe. With North Korea it would be to help our brothers and sisters in that nation being persecuted for their belief and in South Korea it would be to end the cultish side of Christianity over there or those only believing in prosperity gospel or even just propaganda that doesn’t even pertain to the gospel. I believe that I will be a missionary for life always working towards the betterment of the kingdom, spreading the gospel and helping those who are lost. With that it comes with a financial and a spiritual burden on me and I just ask for help in my funds and prayer for my current mission and my future mission. He gave me a beautiful word, and I’m so honored He trusts me to share the Gospel with His people. I’m incredibly excited to step into this next season of my life with Circuit Riders Ministry. Circuit Riders is a part of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) based out of California. The organization exists to bring the Gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit to university students all across the world! Under this organization's leadership, I will be led through a Discipleship Training School where I will learn theology, how to properly share the Gospel, cross-cultural studies, and practice preaching and evangelism. After missionary training school, I will be sent out somewhere in the world to evangelize and serve people with the love of Christ. Missionary Makeila Bunker DONATE Hi hi! I'm Makeila! I am a full-time missionary based out of Brisbane, Australia and I am currently working with the Youth With A Mission or YWAM base there. In 2023 I went to Costa Rica for a missions trip with my youth group. When I was there I fell in LOVE with missions. The Lord gave me a very big heart for missions and to see His people saved. That year I had to finish my last year of high school and I had no idea where I was going next. The summer of 2024 I went to a youth camp with my youth group and I was asking the Lord to show me what He wanted me to do next. HE DID!!! One night He spoke so clearly to me "I want you to go to the nations!". In the fall of 2025 I joined YWAM Brisbane and I began my work in missions. I started in their discipleship program and I was part of a missions team that went to the Solomon Islands. Again, I fell in love with missions. Youth With A Mission was founded in 1960 by Loren Cunningham with a focus on bringing young people into missions. Now it is one of the largest Christian missionary organizations in the world with over 18,000 staff worldwide. A global movement of Christians from different cultural backgrounds, age groups and denominations. Currently working in more that 1,100 locations in over 180 countries. YWAM Brisbane's vision is to be a powerful and transformational community of believers, to minister God’s love in the local community, rural & coastal Queensland and to the ends of the earth. YWAM Brisbane is passionate about pioneering ministries all across the world. My specific ministry will be staffing the Discipleship Training School (DTS). The DTS is designed to train and equip young people to be able to evangelize, serve, and go on outreaches. I will be meeting one-on-one with students, planning and organizing overseas outreaches, leading teams overseas on outreach, and spending a period of time serving in a logistical position on the YWAM base. I will be leading small groups, worship and intercession. As a missionary I rely on the Lord for everything; leadership, community, encouragement, and even finances. I know that the Lord has moved in my life by the prayers of many. I am so encouraged by the faithfulness of the people who pray for me. I need believers to pray for me always. Pray for strength and wisdom always. In YWAM, we are all responsible for our own funding. This means that I rely on the Lord's provision. I believe that the Lord can and DOES provide miraculously but I also believe that the Church body is a big way that the Lord provides. MISSIONARY Ian Waller DONATE Dear Friends and Family, I am so excited to share with you an update on what the Lord has been doing in my life in these past seven months, as well as invite you into my life financially. I just finished CRX DTS with Circuit Riders that began in Huntington Beach, California with 70 other students from all over the U.S. having classes in a park (thanks, Covid), hearing from multiple speakers and being trained to go out and live our lives boldly for the gospel. I chose messengers track for my ministry focus where they taught me how to represent Jesus through preaching and evangelism. The Lord grew me in so many areas in my life by exposing areas of pride and calling me into a spirit of humility and grace. God blessed me with so many amazing friendships within the CR community that have challenged me in my pursuit of the Lord. Next, during Carry The Love Tour, we took what we had just learned and applied it by going to high schools, colleges, and youth groups, sharing the gospel and inviting people into newness and a relationship with the Father who created them. After much planning and phone calls, my team of seven had tour stops in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. I was super excited that half of tour was spent pouring into my hometown since tour started in Colorado and my team was able to stay at my house. Tour was so amazing! We saw: over 60 salvations, people getting set free from suicidal thoughts and depression, and even miraculous healings from dyslexia, migraines and injuries. It was incredible to see the Lord move every single night. His love was displayed everywhere we went as people were encountered with the love of the Father in some big ways. My favorite testimony from tour was in Riverton, Wyoming when my team had the privilege of being the first Circuit Rider team to go to a Native American reservation. The Lord gripped our hearts for the Northern Arapahoe tribe as we prayed for God to come and encounter them. There is so much drug and alcohol addiction in this reservation and 30% of the families living there don’t have running water or electricity. This was hard to imagine since we so often think unreached people groups are outside of the U.S. But there is actually a group in the middle of America right now that are struggling deeply. There had been only one Christian on the whole reservation and by the time we left, 19 teens from the youth group gave their lives to Jesus! It’s so amazing to see how the Lord is moving through this reservation by breaking off the spirits of the land and inviting people into a relationship with Him. God gave me a new confidence in speaking while continuing the work He began in chipping away my pride. The Lord also continued to grip my heart for the lost and to always go out for the one. After Tour, I was invited to attend a Black Voices Weekend, created by CR leadership to bring together and activate young African Americans who love Jesus and want to see His name spread. I will never forget this weekend and the lifelong friends God blessed me with. My heart burns for godly racial reconciliation and what it looks like for African Americans to be empowered to step into the mission field. Circuit Riders has done a really good job stewarding the Lord’s heart in this area by not shying away from what is taking place in our country at this time and by acknowledging that the Lord desires to use black and other minority voices, believing that the great commission cannot be fulfilled if not every tribe, tongue and nation is represented at the table. CR is where the Lord has called me to be for this next season of my life. So, I’m excited to announce that I will be joining CR as a full-time staff, as I plan to make a five-year commitment there. I have had so much confirmation over this next step and feel such peace from the Lord. God has opened up many doors for mentors that I can run with in my life as well as housing in a staff house with nine others. I will be pioneering the newly formed HBCU tour with Circuit Riders. This tour is one that focuses on reaching historical black colleges and universities across America by calling African Americans into relationship with Jesus and inviting them into missions. As, I prepare for this transition as a full time missionary, there is a need of some help financially. All CR staff are required to have a minimum income of $1,200 monthly support. I’m happy to say, I’m a little over one-third there! This monthly income will help pay for my rent, groceries, gas, and air fair for leading tours. I’m incredibly thankful for the supporters that God blessed me with as a student of CR last year and am asking if you would pray and consider joining my financial team of monthly supporters as I become a full time missionary with CR. Missionary London Fowler DONATE Hi Friends and Family! The Lord has called me to serve through missions, education, and caring for children. Over the years, I have had opportunities to serve in orphanages, schools, medical outreaches, church ministries, and special needs programs. These experiences have given me a heart for children, families, and underserved communities. This coming year, I will be serving with Coast2Coast Missions in Burundi and Uganda, and wherever the Good Lord sends me, I will work alongside local ministries in schools, clinics, and orphan care programs. My goal is to share the love of Christ through both word and action, building relationships, encouraging others in their faith, and serving those God places in my path. I believe that every person is created in the image of God and deserves to know they are loved, valued, and cared for. In addition to serving full-time in ministry, I will continue my education through Grand Canyon University’s online program, pursuing a degree in Education and obtaining an emphasis in English as a Second Language. My passion for education and missions will allow me to combine my calling to serve children with and make a lasting impact in underserved communities around the world. Over the past five years, service has become more than something I do—it has become who I AM. Every opportunity that has been given to me to serve, lead, and support others has shaped me and my character, strengthened my faith, and clarified God's purpose for my life. Whether serving in church ministries, working with children, participating in mission trips, or caring for individuals with special needs, each experience has reinforced my desire to dedicate my life to serving others and advancing God's Kingdom. I cannot do this ministry alone. As I prepare to serve overseas, I am asking others to partner with me through prayer and financial support. Your prayers are vital as I seek God's guidance, protection, wisdom, and strength throughout this journey. I have been in the Big Island, Hawai’i for five years now and in August, 2020 the Lord met me and my life has been totally transformed since.
