We are the executive directors and founders of Cultivate Network, a church planting family to cultivate kingdom laborers through the campus to the world. In 1787 America’s first revival started from a whispered prayer on a college campus. In 1806 a prayer underneath a haystack started America’s first missions agency. In 1886 a spark at a college retreat started the largest missions movement the world has ever seen. In the 1960’s-70’s a young adult movement blew the religious dust off of America’s church. In 2020 we heard the call, “Revival in the nations starts on college campuses.” We gave God our yes and pursued an open door to campuses in China…until that door closed. But the pause was pregnant with more. It’s the paradox of the Kingdom, “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (John 12:24). We’ve spent the last few years planting grassroots missional movements among college students. We’ve observed the winds of missions shifting. God is sending the nations here. The average university has over 100+ people groups from the nations on its campus. 80% of them have never been invited into an American home. We’ve felt the ache from the next generation. Early studies estimate only 4% of Generation Z profess Jesus. We are becoming one of the greatest unreached people groups on the planet. But we are hopeful. We’ve seen revival in seasons past and we believe for it again. History proves, the campus is the greenhouse. It’s the opportunity to sow seeds that if cultivated and grown, will take the Good News to every corner of our cities and every crack in our culture. Our response is Cultivate Network. Cultivate Network is a church planting community that plants simple churches in and around college towns and mobilizes laborers to and through the campus. What makes us distinct is that we aren’t just a ministry for college students, we are a missions community for college students to do ministry. (Eph. 4:12) We are currently rooted at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan with a dream to see what happens in the Green House spread to our city, region, new campuses, and the world. Jesus told His followers, “Lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.” (John 4:35) We implore you, envision with us. What would it look if waves of equipped students flooded our cities? What if international students were not just welcomed in, but sent back home to plant churches and continue the Kingdom work? Missionary Cassie Mashtare DONATE Hi friends! My name is Cassie and I’m currently serving with a missions organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM)! I’ve spent over eight years serving full-time in missions, and I currently work with Circuit Riders to call, equip, and mobilize the next generation with the gospel of Jesus. My first five years in missions were spent on the field—leading teams of young people into some of the most remote and unreached places in the world. From sailing to isolated islands in the Pacific to trekking through villages in Mongolia, I’ve witnessed firsthand how God draws people of every background into His love. In 2022, I moved to California to join Circuit Riders with a growing conviction: the mission must be multiplied and communicated effectively through media. Through strategic storytelling and video, I’ve now contributed to projects that have reached over 5 million people—helping inspire thousands to live out their faith with purpose and boldness. Missionary Payton Wirebaugh DONATE Hello! My name is Payton Wirebaugh and I am a full-time missionary serving at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Kona, with the Fire and Fragrance school. I attended Discipleship Training School (DTS) Through YWAM Kona from September to March of 2021. Going into DTS I was praying that God would break my heart for what breaks His. Little did I know that He would break my heart for the nations. Throughout my discipleship school, the Lord revealed His calling on my life. A calling to go to the nations and tell people about the love He has for them. He has had that call on my life since I was a little girl and I am just now beginning to realize what that calling is going to look like.The Lord has made it clear to me that staffing the school I completed is what He is calling me to do in this season! My DTS completely changed my life, my outlook on life, and my relationship with the Lord so I am so thankful that I get to be on the leadership side of the school now! The role of the DTS staff is to walk alongside DTS students and disciple them as they deepen their relationship with the Lord and then co-leading a team of students to a nation to share the love of Christ. The mission statement of YWAM is to know God and make Him known. YWAM is a community of believers who have been impacted by the love of God and can't wait to go and tell people about it. The main mission statement of YWAM is rooted in the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you." We believe that God has called all of us to play a role in completing the Great Commission. For some people it looks like working at their local church, for some, it looks like partnering with those going - in prayer or financially - and for some, that means being sent. Missionary Lily Bauman DONATE Hello! My name is Lily Bauman, and I am a full-time missionary with the EveryHeart Movement! Five years ago, I watched the EveryHeart Movement begin as my brother and his five best friends spent their summer traveling around the U.S. preaching the Gospel, holding worship gatherings, and serving different cities across America. Last year, I had the absolute honor of joining him along with many other incredible individuals in serving on staff as a full-time missionary! The EveryHeart Movement is a YWAM missions organization dedicated to seeing every heart MET by the love of Jesus and then SENT out to live a missional life, wherever they might be. I have just started my second year on staff, and this year my roles are within our worship and media circles! My heart has burned for worship since I was in high school, and it is one of the biggest joys and honors of my life to be able to lead people into encountering the presence of God. I help lead worship for our weekly prayer room sets, Sunday night gatherings, monthly Unity Gatherings, summer tour, and sometimes travel with our band outside the state for worship gatherings! Photography has also been a big passion of mine since high school. By being in our media circle, I have the opportunity to be a modern-day scribe by capturing and documenting what God is doing in our movement and in our generation. We were made in the image of CREATOR God, and it is a joy to be able to create with Him through photos and content creation for our movement. As a full-time missionary, I am completely reliant on the Lord’s provision and on the generosity of others for my income. Missionary Eve Taylor DONATE My name is Eve, and I am a recent graduate of the Radiant School of Worship located in Kalamazoo, MI. I have a passion for worship and a burning desire to see people know and experience the presence of Jesus for themselves. Six years ago, the Lord gave me a dream to lead worship in all 50 states before I am 50, but as I went through college, that dream took the backseat. In recent months, the dream has been reawakened, and I am thrilled to get to step into something 17 year old Eve could have only dreamed of! Radiant School of Worship is an eight month discipleship program crafted to transform and equip next-generation leaders. Until this year, RSW and it's sister school, Radiant School of Ministry, have been two separate programs, but in recent months, the Lord has clearly been joining them together. RSM's mission is to train and SEND pioneers for revival. With these two schools collaborating, there is something very special being birthed, and I am blessed to take part in that! I will be partnering with Radiant School of Ministry to spearhead and lead a traveling ministry that will be offered to the future and current students of RSM / RSW! With the two schools combining, the missions of training up worshipers and sending out missionaries are about to collide, and crafting a traveling ministry seems the next appropriate step the Lord is leading us to! Missionary Hadi & Pao Zabala DONATE We are Hadi and Pao, a Colombian-Panamanian family who grew up in the church but truly came to know God in 2019 when we took our DTS (Diploma of the Third Order) at YWAM (Young Women Missionaries) in Cartagena, Colombia. We arrived in Cartagena young and single, driven by the need to make changes in our lives and thus please God. Here we discovered our calling to be full-time missionaries and our passion for preaching the gospel. We also met and got married in Cartagena. We both attended a Bible school, where the entire Bible is read in chronological order, learning through different classes book by book over three months. We loved getting to know God through Bible reading, and since 2020 we have worked intensely to eradicate biblical poverty and help people understand its message, preparing new converts, missionaries, and leaders. During this time, we have worked as staff in approximately 15 schools, and together with our team, we have pioneered Bible schools at YWAM bases in Mexico, two in Brazil, Paraguay, Switzerland, Chile, and Colombia (Medellín, Leticia, Pereira, and Bucaramanga). We also serve as guest teachers in Cartagena and other Bible schools. Furthermore, we are passionate about working with the local church, serving with Bible teaching, leadership, and discipleship. We are also expecting our baby while continuing our ministry work, and Hadi is pursuing a bachelor's degree in theology to better serve the schools and the church. As full-time missionaries, we do not receive a salary from YWAM. Our sustenance comes entirely from the generosity of individuals and churches that support us. We believe this is intentional.
