A little bit about me - my name is Andrea Olmeda and I am 22 years old from Pennsylvania. After feeling a tugging from the Holy Spirit toward the mission field as a little girl and all throughout my life, I went on my first mission trip back in 2020 to the beautiful Country of Brazil. This trip impacted me and my outlook on missions radically. Since then, I have been sent on missions to Europe, Puerto Rico, and domestically in states like Nebraska, Colorado, and South Dakota. As I am moving toward doing what I know the Lord has placed in my heart for such a time as this which is full time missions, I cannot do this without the partnership and support of you all. Missions has many moving parts, and whether you are the one being sent to the land or are making a donation, your role is crucial in the good news and hope of the Lord reaching these places, cultures, and people. When you partner with me, you are not just helping me get to these places but your contribution reaches these people and communities as it not only goes towards missionaries but the resources we need to complete the mission. This season of my life is called "Obedience". I am a full-time student with a part-time job, while also in ministry at my home church Transformation Church Lehigh Valley. Moving into almost full time missions takes a serious and assured yes, but I am sure that the Lord will provide because where our yes is, we can be confident that His provision and resources will meet us there in that place of obedience. As I embark on these mission trips, it is my joy to use this site as a way to take all of you that contribute on this journey with me, so that you may see that your donations are landing on fertile soil and truly are making all the difference. I am a church musician and artist who was raised in ministry—my father is a pastor and my mother is a pastora. Growing up in this environment has been a great blessing and a journey of faith. Our family has always relied on God, and from a young age, I knew that Jesus was calling me into His greater purpose. Last year, I took a step of faith and pursued my dream of studying Performing Arts in Music Theatre. By God’s grace, I was blessed to become a scholar. However, just a month into my studies, I faced one of the most challenging seasons of my life when I became seriously ill while far from home in Luzon, with my parents in Leyte. Missionary Kayla Baumann DONATE Hello! My name is Kayla Baumann. Since I was a kid, I wanted to be a missionary. I have been in full-time ministry since 2009, aside from a few years between 2015-2017 and 2019-2020 during which I was still in ministry every summer. From 2020-2024 I was on staff with YWAM Philadelphia. That was the one thing I never expected. To be called to the city I grew up in. Currently, I believe God is asking me to pioneer another YWAM base. I am in the beginning stages of this and reaching out to other leaders and elders in YWAM for wisdom and guidance as I take steps towards obeying this assignment and learning what this might look like. The world is coming to Philadelphia. Tourists, immigrants, students, and more. We have the awesome ability to reach people for Christ from around the world without leaving our city! My heart’s passion is to enable and support people to fulfill their God-given destiny. To lead and serve in such a way that others can follow God’s call on their lives. It’s to inspire and encourage young believers to discover their identity and pursue their God-given destiny. These things make me feel alive and I know I am doing what I was created to do. Part of the way I feel called to do this is to help churches and ministries in the city to be able to support each other so we can better work together in accomplishing the great commission. I'm working with my pastors and a few others in the congregation to form a missions team so we can do consistent outreaches in the neighborhood. We want to provide training and opportunities for those who want to learn and practice a more missional lifestyle as well as connect people who already are living one. I work with the youth group at my church, serve on the women’s ministry team, co-lead the welcome team, and serve every Tuesday with another church in the city as they run a food distribution and outreach. I also feel called to write Christian Fiction that shows how a person's faith can impact his or her daily decisions and what it's like to live out your calling, whether you want it or not. I have self-published four fiction books and worked with other authors on a self-published devotional. I am currently working on a Christian fantasy novel. Ministry is hard... and we can easily feel isolated. But we weren't meant to do this alone. We need each other. In order to fulfill God's call on my life, I need to work with a team of people who want to be a part of all He is doing in this city and through my life, both through prayer and financial support. Missionary Milly Muringi DONATE Millicent is a full time missionary with Fire and Fragrance Kenya, a ministry team under Youth With a Mission (YWAM.) She is a mother to a precious little girl named, Zeinab. Millicent and her team are passionate about saving the lost (especially focusing on unreached Islamic areas and peoples), reviving the saved, and activating all into lives of wholehearted love and obedience to Jesus. Millicent is a part of a ministry team living in a Muslim neighborhood which is very underprivileged, with a rise of gangs, violence, and witchcraft. MISSIONARY Marvin Reif DONATE The Lord called me into ministry at an early age, and I have dedicated my life to sharing and teaching the gospel of the Good News with others, encouraging and building up the body of Christ, and sharing the love of Jesus with the lost. I join the Lord, investing in the lives of others, seeing each person as precious and valuable. Making myself available to all the Lord brings my way, I get to see the Lord at work and turn dust into gold! God does the great thing out of the little thing, and one person’s life is a very big thing! It is such a joy to see lives saved and transformed through the revelation and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to grow in the truth and love of the Lord. I love the Lord and His word, and really enjoy teaching, encouraging, discipling, and praying for those I’m ministering with. I was transformed by His love from the inside out and have never experienced love and freedom like I have in Him. I knew that I couldn’t keep quiet and I had to share this love with others, and I felt the Lord leading me to YWAM where I’d go on my first missions trip.
