A Testimony of Transformation My journey began with the Discipleship Training School (DTS), a 3-month program that challenged me to surrender to God's will and trust in His plan. Several years back, the Lord spoke to me and told me that I was called to go and serve as a mother to the motherless in a foreign nation. That very day, he put a joy and zeal in me to see His kingdom come and for His children to be cared for and that has only grown! In January 2024 I did a Bravelove discipleship school through YWAM Kona. I spent three months in Hawaii and three months in Nigeria and Nepal. Bravelove is an all women’s Discipleship Training School that teaches that as women our identity and value is found in Christ. We had the amazing opportunity of traveling throughout Africa and Asia, serving and hosting Bravelove gatherings. This last September-December I did my training and am now full time staff the Bravelove DTS! I have so much faith, excitement and expectancy for what the Lord is going to do in this school! EveryHeart Movement is now joined with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). God has transformed our lives and we cannot help but go and give Him everything in return! Our roles on staff are to train & lead teams of young adults in love with Jesus across the streets of America on our EveryHeart Summer Tours. On these tours we serve the church, share the Gospel in the streets, preach, and gather people for worship within cities. This year we will be helping in the interview process and formulating teams. Our other main role on staff is to oversee the EveryHeart Met By Love college campus initiatives. There are currently over 10 college campuses with active Met By Love weekly gatherings of worship, service, and evangelism. Our role is to connect & disciple the on campus leaders that are pioneering with God through Met By Love. We are getting equipped for what he is leading us to do in ministering to the US church/the lost and also to other nations. While we are here our children are also being equipped attending Bethel Christian School where the same core values are being taught that we learn at BSSM. We are only able to work part-time while attending school and so we are needing to build a financial team for our time in school. Missionary Glory Carrillo DONATE Hey friends! My name is Glory and I am currently serving with a missions organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM is a missions organization that believes each person has a God-given calling and wants to help equip people to fulfill that calling. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus calls all of us to “go and make disciples of all the nations…”. We all have a part to play in the great commission and bringing forth the good news. The heart of YWAM is to prepare and send people from every nation to every nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2022, I attended a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM in Kona, Hawaii. The goal of DTS is to help the students know God more intimately and to learn how to make God known. It was during this time that God really gave me a heart for missions and discipleship. My heart is that people who have never heard the name of Jesus would come to know who He is and His love for them! I completed my DTS in March of 2023 and I felt the Lord asking me to staff a Discipleship Training School. I said yes to what God was asking, and that fall I staffed a DTS with YWAM Kona and ended up leading a team to Cyprus. My team served with two families that had recently moved to Cyprus as long term missionaries. In this time we got to see God do amazing miracles in the people we met there. We saw God reveal Himself as a loving God through His word and through prayer and worship. It was amazing to see people who had never heard of Jesus come to know and understand the Gospel! Before my team left Cyprus, we got to pass on a thriving women’s Bible study, a men’s Bible study, as well as a small church body to the long term team! God did so much in such little time and I know He is not done. After coming home, the Lord put it on my heart to return to Cyprus to continue to be a part of what He is doing there. In September of this year, I officially moved to Cyprus to join the long term team in the North. I am currently attending a three month leadership training school that will help equip me to do missions in a Muslim context, as well as give me tools for doing missions sustainably. It has been my greatest honor to come alongside what God is doing in the lives of others and I cannot wait to see what He has in store as our team continues to build ministry here in Cyprus. I am very excited for the things that God has asked me to be a part of, but I can not do it alone. I would love to ask if you would be a part of what God is asking me to do as well!
