I am Jan Kronester, a music lover and football fanatic in his mid-twenties extremely passionate about responding to God's call to love my neighbors.

I grew up in missions and studied social work, and now work with YWAM San Francisco to help the unhoused, poor and marginalized people on the streets of the Tenderloin district. Here at YWAM SF, we're all about meeting people where they are, whether that's physically, emotionally or spiritually.

As a full-time missionary, I'm completely reliant on financial support and I'm currently looking for $1,800 USD per month to cover my living expenses. If you're interested in supporting me financially, you can find more info on how to do that at the bottom of this page.

If your heart beats for reaching those living at the margins of society, I would like to invite you to join me in praying for those searching for meaning, community and love in the Tenderloin. Would Jesus reveal himself to them as the loving friend that deeply desires a relationship with them. Pray that I find the wisdom and courage to walk with people in a sincerely compassionate and loving way.

My deepest desire is that through my service others would catch a glimpse of the way Jesus calls all of us to treat our neighbors.
