The heart of YWAM is to know God and make Him known. My wife and I are 24 years old and currently serving at a Youth With A Mission Impact in the Philippines. We are involved in the discipleship training program here in the Philippines which involves many outreaches such as house to house evangelism, tribal ministry, open air preaching, basketball ministry, prison ministry, discipleship through church partnership and so much more! We love the Filipino people and have the privilege of seeing so much of what God is doing here. Benny brings a strong passion for evangelism and teaching through the many gifts God has given him like basketball, discipleship, and a strong passion for the word. Lydia has a tremendous heart for worship, also using her gifts in music to glorify the Lord and create atmospheres in which others can do the same. Missionary Shirley Chirima DONATE Equipping African Missionaries to Reach the Nations Vision "To see a movement of well-equipped African missionaries who are confident and resourced, taking their place in God’s global mission—impacting nations and transforming lives with the love of Christ." My name is Shirley Nyasha, and I am from Zimbabwe. I serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) – Frontier Missions, investing in missions mobilisation, discipleship training, leadership development, and member care across Africa and beyond. My heart is to see African missionaries equipped, encouraged, and released to bring the Gospel to the least reached peoples of the world. During this season, my ministry involves teaching, mentoring, coaching, and supporting missionaries and leaders serving on the frontlines. I teach in DTS (Discipleship Training Schools), SOFM (School of Frontier Missions), and GSODTS (God’s Story Oral Discipleship Training School), with a focus on topics such as missions, Biblical worldview, prayer and intercession, cross-cultural Gospel storytelling, and oral discipleship. I also help pioneer and strengthen GSODTS training in new locations across Africa, while walking alongside leaders and teams through encouragement, prayer, and member care. Much of my ministry involves regular travel throughout Africa, often taking two-week ministry trips each month across multiple nations as opportunities arise. These trips allow me to equip missionaries, strengthen YWAM teams and leaders, participate in strategic leadership gatherings, and help expand training opportunities in emerging mission contexts. Many of the places I serve are unable to cover travel expenses or honorariums, yet these opportunities are vital for mobilizing African missionaries to reach the unreached. Missionary Christina Turner DONATE Hey! My name is Christina Turner and I am a missionary with Circuit Riders. I have been a full time missionary since I graduated college in 2018, started by running a school of ministry in Las Vegas and transitioning into serving Circuit Riders in 2020. Why Circuit Riders? Circuit Riders is a YWAM mission and training community that launches movements to reach the next generation. Our passion is Jesus, our mission field is our generation and our opportunity is now. We want to see the lost saved, the saved revived and train them all. The original Circuit Riders were a movement of selfless, dedicated individuals who gave their very lives to reaching the lost, forming discipleship settings, and shifting the culture around them through wholehearted obedience to Scripture. Their zeal for God created a contagion of simple obedience to the teachings of Jesus and resulted in a movement later described as the First Great Awakening. Wherever you find yourself in the world, the fact remains that Jesus has been misrepresented, many have false ideas of who He is and what He is like. My vision is to see our generation wake up to who Jesus truly is and that the body of Christ would step into their missional call to share the gospel and meet the needs around them. This has been lived out by going on Carry the Love tours across America to college campuses, training college students how to gather their friends and preach the gospel. I’ve also done evangelistic initiatives and training schools equipping the masses how to reach their city. Missionary Lya Peterson DONATE Hi friends, family, and strangers, I’ve officially arrived in Amsterdam with YWAM and the city ministry I have joined is called “Priesthood” which is a nonprofit cafe in Amsterdam whose vision and heart is to connect with the people of Amsterdam. They host community events and serve the people of the Netherlands through coffee, build relationships with the locals, and share the gospel with the city. I truly believe that God can work wonders through those everyday encounters and interactions. Before I did my DTS, I owned a coffee cart business in hopes of building the local community, and coffee shops are the epitome of seeing that come to life. I believe there is so much beauty and joy found in a cafe setting. It is such an honor to get to know our customers by name, to ask about their day, and remember their favorite drink. Sometimes the simplest interactions are the most memorable. Although I loved running my own coffee business, I truly felt the Lord pressing me to go to DTS and now Priesthood! Now that I live in Amsterdam I am fully reliant on God's provision and calling. I have committed the next 2 years(or more) to serve in this ministry with YWAM Amsterdam, and because YWAM is a nonprofit organization, we need to raise monthly support as missionaries. The income requirement for the country is 1400 euros per month. I currently have raised 911 euros monthly and am still praying on the Lord's continuous provision. As I step into this calling to serve as a missionary in Amsterdam, I would love to invite you to prayerfully consider being part of the team supporting this mission. Missionary Brooke Mason DONATE Hey y'all! My name is Brooke Mason and I am currently working with a missions organization called YWAM. YWAM (Youth With A Mission) is an interdenominational Christian organization that focuses on missionary work and training. The mission is to know God and make God known, as well as serve God's global purposes, and champion young people. YWAM has been sending missionaries around the world since 1960 and is one of the world's largest missionary training and sending organizations. I just completed their Discipleship Training School this past June of 2024. But for me, missions began long before. When I was 16 years old I went on my first mission trip to Thailand with my church in Allen, TX, called Church Eleven32. My church partners in missions with YWAM, so I knew of YWAM during this time. After graduating high school, I was surprised when God called me into my local church's ministry school. I initially did not have a heart to work in ministry, let alone the 4 walls of a church rather than in the nations. I wanted to immediately go off to college and have fun. But what I didn't know at 19 was that God was giving me a heart for His people, in America and in the nations. As well, He was calling me into the entertainment industry to bridge the gap between missions and film. After ministry school, I attended the University of Arkansas initially for Interior Design and Architecture but ended up getting my Bachelor's Degree in Communications. I thought I would work in Social Media and Marketing or Interior Design and maybe later in life would do something with the film industry or missions. I graduated college in 2020, the best year to graduate college:) Lol. In 2021, I started applying for Marketing jobs in Dallas. Being on the verge of accepting jobs, something in me did not have peace. Shortly after not accepting a job, a door just happened to open in the film industry in Atlanta, Georgia. In August 2021, I moved to Atlanta for my first job on set working for 20th Century Fox and NBC under Disney. The next two years felt a bit like a rollercoaster in this industry. With Covid testing, vaccines, a shortage in jobs, and eventually in 2023, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) went on strike against AMPTP over labor disputes, and the whole industry shut down, leaving everyone without jobs. During this time, I finally took a step towards what I felt God was inviting me into. I applied for a DTS with YWAM and left Georgia to head to YWAM’s biggest location in Kona in January 2024. Leaving a comfortable life in America is never easy, but I knew God was calling me into what he put in my heart years ago, which is to bring missions into the film industry. But even more than that my aim is to show the heart of God through signs, wonders, and miracles happening around the world in theaters for America and First World nations to see. I believe in a living God who is alive and active and is after the lost and brokenhearted. Brooke Donate

Missionary Deziray Ivanoff DONATE Hey friends! My name is Deziray. About two years ago, I made the decision to follow the Lord, and He has been abundantly faithful to me every step since. That decision has shaped every part of my life and given me a deep desire to serve Him fully and see others come to know His love. I’m stepping full-time into Frontier Alaska Missions. Alaska has been on my heart in a way that I can’t ignore. God sees this state and loves the people here, and He’s inviting us into what He is already doing! What a joy it is that we get to be His hands and feet. FAM is focused on prayer, worship, and discipleship. I feel honored to step into that with them. It is a great privilege to spend my time asking the Lord of the harvest for Alaska and making space for the Lord to receive the worship He’s due. Missionary Alison Shepard DONATE Hello! My name is Alison, and I am an intercessory prayer partner for Certa Pro Painting. Since 2020, I have been involved in prophetic and intercessory prayer covering for the business, employees and family members of Certa Pro in Milford, Ohio. It has been a wonderful experience to share prophetic insight, and to strengthen, encourage and comfort the employees and their families. Twice a month, I gather with two other intercessors to lift up in prayer the needs of the business and the people of Certa Pro. We have seen prophetic words come to pass and watched the business grow in its impact to share the Gospel and spread the Kingdom! It has been such a rewarding journey, and I am deeply grateful to be a part of helping with the spiritual health of a company run by Christian leaders. I am also a professional artist and educator. As a tiny child, I fell in love with drawing before I knew how to write or spell. From an early age, I had an affinity for narrative. Much of my art is ethereal and dream-like. For me, the creative process is like a dance with Holy Spirit. Much of my art celebrates the beauty of God’s creation in nature. The nature paintings have also helped me make a living. Some of my art is inspired directly by the Bible. I would love to increase the amount of art I make that is Biblical. I have recently begun a series of paintings of Jesus. If you would like to give to help support me in this endeavor, I would be very grateful, as it would help give me time as well as help with buying art supplies. In 2013, I received a vision from the LORD where I was working for a Fine Art Center where students of all ages could learn visual art, music, theater, dance. I tried several times to make this vision come to pass in my own strength, but it was not God’s timing. Then one day in 2021, I went to a rehearsal (I am also a singer) in a small building of music classrooms. I heard Holy Spirit say to me “This is the vision, Alison!” I was surprised and I said, “but LORD, this is smaller than what you showed me, and it’s only art and music, not theater and dance.” And then He reminded me of the scripture Zechariah 4:10, “Do not despise these small beginnings for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin.” So I asked my band mate who taught music there if they were in need of an art teacher, and it turned out they were! Soon after that I was hired. Then in early 2023, we were in danger of losing our building and going out of business. I held on to the vision the LORD gave me in 2013 and I prayed and looked all over for a new building, but there were none that we could afford. At the eleventh hour, God opened up an amazing door and gave us a big beautiful building right down the road! My art room is now at the Madcap Education Center and is 4 times the size it used to be! And there is art, music, theater and dance all under one roof, just as the LORD had shown me in 2013! It has been an amazing journey thus far. There have been many opportunities to help Christian artists build their skills and also do art that is inspired by their faith. And there have been many occasions where I am able to minister to students who are struggling, as well as share the love, grace and truth of Jesus. I am deeply grateful for this incredible gift from God. One of my dreams is to be able offer scholarships to deserving students who cannot afford art lessons. Marli Pursifull DONATE Hello there, My name is Marli and I am currently serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Sunshine Coast Australia. For the past 3 years I have been serving on the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) to equip young people with an inductive understanding of the whole Bible and the ability to pass it on to others. For me, my role has included preparing teachings on different books of the Bible, grading students work and giving engaging feedback to help them grow, and event planning. Currently I have switched gears to serve with the entry level school, the Discipleship Training School (DTS). DTS seeks to guide students into a deeper exploration of their relationship with God, and equip them with tools to confidently share their faith in whichever sphere they are called into. They also get the chance to practice these skills during the "outreach phase" of the school, which is usually to a foreign nation. In this space, I am both pioneering a Bible track, and leading outreaches to different nations, and teaching at other YWAM bases in the Pacific. I am so grateful for this space to teach and lead others in my passions of both scripture and sharing God to others! I truly believe that every student is returning from these schools as catalysts to their hometowns!
