But most importantly, we love serving with kids and teens! Currently, we are teaming up with an organization called KidzNet which is located in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. KidzNet was birthed out of the hearts of those who were touched during the country's devastating tsunami in December of 2004. In response to the damage and destruction caused to the coastal belt of Sri Lanka, an outstanding children's home by the name of Lotus-Buds, who "proves a 24 year track record of upholding and maintaining the highest of standards of residential care under the Department of Childcare and Probation as Sri Lankan registered children's home" (KidzNet, 2014), began a relief outreach to other children's homes who were impacted by the natural disaster whether that was property damage or high admission of children due to the loss of their families to the tsunami. While this outreach positively impacted the children's homes during this season, hearts were led to do something even greater and more far-reaching; hence, the vision of KidzNet today. Currently, the heart of KidzNet is "to impact hundreds of staff and thousands of Sri Lankan children at risk in residential care facilities throughout the nation...and transform not only the quality of care available in private homes throughout the country but to positively impact this generation of children currently residing in these homes" (KidzNet, 2014). Missionary Charis Alturas DONATE My name is Charis Alturas, and I’m a full-time missionary running with Circuit Riders! When I was 16 the Lord met me personally, and my relationship with Him became truly my own! Since then, I have heard Hhim say ‘get up and walk, and let me guide your feet’ and ‘go show them how cherished they are’! I have seen and heard way too much about the world’s love-deficit and desperate NEED for the gospel to not sign up as hands and feet Jesus can use to reach the ends of the world and meet His children where they are. Along with seeing the global need for the gospel, I have also seen the clear NEED for laborers to be raised up and sent out to these corners. To just sign myself up to go isn’t enough. There are more who have caught wind of this same call and are ready to go! In the fall my goal is to be a part of house-leading and being a part of the Discipleship Training Schools with CR to train up missionaries! As a house leader I would get to live in a house full of girls going through the school and provide support as a coach-leader-friend! The Lord has given me a heart for discipleship and I’m excited to pursue that in this way! Why do you do what you do? I wanted to share the answer with you. I go because the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus really happened. I go because Matthew 28 isn’t just a suggestion. I go because Revelation 19 is true. There is a real man who gave everything for me, so how could I not give Him all of my life? The reality is that there are millions of people who don’t know Jesus. Romans 10:14 says: “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” How could the lost know unless they are told? I go because 66% of young adults walk away from Jesus in their college years. I go because last year there were over 1.6 million suicide attempts in the U.S alone and over 50k of them succeeded. I go because over 20% of Gen Z has an alcohol use disorder. I go because there are people dying in homeless camps every day. I go because there are an estimated 3.5 billion people that have never heard the Gospel. I go because Jesus is worthy of those statistics being erased and every one of the 3.5 billion surrendering to Him. As a full-time missionary, my only source of income is through your generosity! We currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee with our sons Levi (3) and Shepherd (Jan. 2024 baby). If there is one theme that has been consistent throughout our lives, it is this: "God is faithful". Time after time, when things felt shaky and unstable, our choice to keep faith in Him never failed us. He has proven Himself to be our true Provider, Protector, and Guide. We are thankful that God has broken our hearts for the lost, tormented, and broken. We yearn to be family to the ones that never truly had "family". We yearn to display the ministry of adoption that God has offered to us in a real and tangible way to those around us. Missionary Nicholas Cahill DONATE Hey everyone welcome, my name is Nicholas Cahill and I want to share what God has been doing in my life. I have been serving with a missionary group called Circuit Riders, they are a branch of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) for about one year now. I first hopped on their Carry The Love tour as a musician in 2022 in the SouthEast. What Circuit Riders does with the Carry The Love tour is travel to university campuses across the United States and Europe and do worship nights, preach the gospel, evangelize, and train people in evangelism to see people come to know Jesus. In October of 2022 I did Circuit Riders DTS (Discipleship Training School) where we got closer to Jesus and breakthroughs in our own personal lives as well as getting trained in how to share the gospel with the lost. Then in 2023 from January to March I went on another Carry The Love tour in the MidSouth playing in the worship team, and also going out and sharing the gospel and seeing people come to Jesus. Now that I am done with the DTS and the tour I am moving to Huntington Beach, California in August to come on staff with Circuit Riders. I am going to be helping lead the DTS, whether that be helping lead a house of guys, leading a outreach team or being involved with their Greenhouse prayer room. All of this is going to be fundraised while I am doing missions, so I am looking for people to partner with me monthly, or a one time donation. Missionary Taylor Powers DONATE Throughout my life I always had the head knowledge of Jesus but my heart was never postured rightly before the Lord. It wasn’t until I encountered the love of Jesus through being in the presence of the Lord that my life was radically transformed! I long to see a generation, city, nation come back to their first love, that longs to sit at the feet of Jesus and lingers in His presence. I long to see the church walk in intimacy and union with the Father. My heart burns to see prayer houses planted across the nations and for the Lamb to receive the reward of His suffering from His bride! We are headed to L.A. to establish a prayer room, fully believing the city will be captivated by Gods love simply by going back to the basics of prayer, worship, and abiding with the Father. Our heart is to create a place for the presence of God to dwell upon man as we minister to Him and to see people encounter God’s love through this! We are excited to be heading to Thailand to work with SWAT Ministries International, assisting in the fight against human trafficking there. We believe God gave us this heart and calling to help in this realm and we are looking forward to what He will do through our small and young family. At SWAT, we will be assisting in any ways possible and needed. Some of our tasks will include managing the construction of a much-needed shelter and facility, administration assistance, and supporting SWAT staff in the training and rehabilitation of rescued women and children. My heart burns for Gen-z and to see them encounter Jesus and be activated in their missional calling. Over the past two years we have begun to experience a new, strong move of God in Finland. We've seen hundreds of people come to Christ and the hearts of the young generation set on fire for Jesus! The Send exists to Send and mobilize this generation and it's such a joy and privilege to get to work with them. Right now I'm working with a team in equipping young people to reach their high schools with the gospel. I am also touring Finland to activate the church to live out the great commission. My dream is to see Europe shaken by the gospel and young European missionaries sent out to the nations. Circuit Riders' mission is to save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all. So I will be helping train and lead new missionaries, then going across America and the world preaching and teaching the Gospel! Leading the lost to Jesus and disciplining them to reach their own countries, cities, and schools for Jesus! We are after revival! I long to see my generation free from the hold of the enemy and walking in the light of Christ.
