Hola everyone!

We are the Villarruel family! We currently serve as missionaries in Mexico! We met when I (Sidney) came to Mexico on a short term trip a few years ago! We recently got married in May of 2026 and are enjoying doing ministry together!

We currently work with children and families in need, providing them with education, food distributions, workshops for job skills, and discipleship groups in the rural areas of Tijuana. We also do ministry in the red light district of Tijuana. One of the biggest ministries we work with is a home building ministry where we build homes for families living in extreme poverty. These homes provide a place of security and safety for the families who beforehand were either homeless or living under scrap wood, cardboard, and blankets as their roof and walls.

We raise our own support and are still looking for people who would like to partner with us in bringing the love and knowledge of Jesus to the people of Mexico! Our monthly support goal is $2,000 and we are currently halfway there! We would love you to pray about joining our team!
