Missionary Michelle Housein DONATE Hello! I am Michelle Housein a missionary currently on stand with Brave Love YWAM Kona (Youth With A Mission). At YWAM we equip anyone willing to walk out the calling the Lord has for them. Our motto is — “To know God, and to make Him known.” We are currently the largest missions-sending base in the world!! I did my discipleship training school with YWAM in 2022, I was able to hear God's voice over my life and encounter the Holy Spirit. I was able to hear the Lord tell me that counseling was a gift God wanted me to pursue. And the leadership skills to be able to confidently activate the tools I learned to be a vessel of healing to people. I have always loved being there for people and serving them the best I can. And the Lord is making ways that I need to develop and enhance my knowledge of restoration for the hungry ones seeking the Lord. The Lord led me to Brave Love where we want to train and equip women to communicate with conviction what Biblical Womanhood looks like in our world today. Our mission is to activate and send out women to be the solution to the injustices they see in the world around them. WOW. How excited I am to be a part of a movement that will stretch me as a person and also be an example for women. I will be staffing a 6 month DTS (Discipleship Training School) that is created to help you know God and find your calling to use it in the world. And God has my yes to serve and lay my life down at the feet of the King who rescued me from so much shame. And nothing else matters in life as much as giving people the same freedom I was given and leading them to an unconditionally loving Father. Missionary Kayleigh Hang DONATE For the majority of senior year, I thought I had my after high school plans set in stone. However, that all changed in January when God led me to an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM), which is a group that equips young people for mission work. After a few weeks of reluctance and many prayers, I felt deeply that the Lord was calling me to apply. Now today, I'm thrilled to share that I was accepted into the program, and am currently attending a YWAM Discipleship Training School! Even though I was hesitant at first, I'm excited and confident in the knowledge that this is where God has called me. The first phase of my training has consisted of an intense three months in Kona, Hawaii, where I've been diving into Scripture, deepening my relationship with Jesus, and learning how to evangelize. The second phase of the program involves three months of missions work somewhere around the world, where I'll be sharing the love of Jesus and serving those in need. I’ve been selected to be on a team that will be traveling to California, South Korea, and Japan, and I couldn’t be more excited! In Matthew 28, Jesus tells his followers to "go and make disciples of all nations," and this command is precisely what YWAM is faithfully carrying out today as one of the largest missions organizations in the world. It's a daunting commission but I believe this calling is just as important in the year 2023 as it was when Jesus was on Earth. I've seen videos and heard stories of YWAM in action, so I know the amazing power of God is working through this organization in the nations. This is why I’m so grateful for my Discipleship Training School, because I'm being equipped to go out and actually spread the Gospel just like Jesus commanded us to do! All that being said, I’m still in need of prayer partners and financial support in order to go on outreach to the USA and Asia. Missionary Jack Dede DONATE Ayoooo!! My name is Jack Dede, and I am a missionary with YWAM Montana! Did you know that there are 1.5 billion people globally who do not have access to the Word of God in their native language? And there are a total of 3.2 BILLION PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE GOSPEL AT ALL! The Bible teaches us to lay down our needs for the needs of others, taking on suffering and servanthood, because of the love we have received in Christ. I have seen this love! I was encountered by Jesus in my high school years, encountering his presence and seeing Him change my from the inside out by surrendering to the Holy Spirit. He has given me the desire to share his word amongst a world of unbelief and confusion. God is my Father, my deliverer, and my closest friend, and I want to see others find the same comfort in Him that I have! God sent me out through YWAM Montana’s Discipleship Training School as a missionary to the nations. I fell in love with Jesus, understanding his character and nature so much deeper, and went to East Asia to tell others about Him! I saw people saved, healed, and receiving the free gift of righteousness and relationship with the true and living God! His heart is for EVERY NATION and ALL PEOPLE to know this love. But God is using His people to reach people, and that is why I am a missionary. I believe God is calling me to a life on missions, one that will last far beyond these next couple years! Whatever it may look like, whether being overseas longer or coming home, I have no idea. However, I am trusting Christ in His direction for my life, and will follow wherever He leads me. I am from Venezuela, and for the past decade, I have been serving in Mexico, following a deep calling to worship, discipleship, Bible teaching, and evangelism. My journey has been one of faith, trusting God for provision as I serve Him wholeheartedly. Over the years, I have dedicated my life to helping others encounter Jesus—whether through leading worship, teaching the Word, or reaching the most vulnerable in society. MISSIONARY Emily Eve DONATE Hi, my name is Emily! Throughout 2019, God has moved in my life in ways I wasn’t expecting. When the year started, I was focused on getting a job more suited to my skills. However, even with all the applications and interviews I wasn’t finding any opportunities in the design field. Since I was young, I have loved to travel, and that prompted me to look into jobs that could take me overseas. I started researching what it takes to become a second language English teacher. I looked into different programs and courses and decided to become a certified ESL teacher. On the same day back in March, God opened two doors for me. I signed up for a TEFL Certificate course and He provided me with a job in my major. I walked both paths at the same time, gaining friends and experience in my new job and learning how to teach through the TEFL course. However, I couldn’t walk both paths forever and at the end of Summer, I had to decide what to do next. When the time came to choose, with prayer and faith, I asked God to lead me and started making preparations to move abroad to teach. The school’s vision is focused on education, but I will be working with other teachers who share the same goals as I have for ministry. Your prayers and support help me stay open to the needs of the community and other opportunities to minister to those around me. It helps me meet God in the community and not turn down opportunities and moments because I am not able to afford it. I'm Minyae Powell, God has called me to attend a 6 month discipleship training at Circuit Riders school and the Black Voices Movement in Huntington Beach California. I will be starting the training on October 1st of this year. I have always been told by people and even God that I am called to be a leader in our generation and to get these chains broken off of our generations' lives. I thought I was too far gone and no life or future ahead of me at many points , but God had other plans and I was led to the Lord. It has also been revealed many times that I have a calling of music on my life and I want to be able to use that gift God has given me to share His word and encourage young people like me. When you ask me what I want to do for my future right now and even after school, I will tell you I want to be happy. That happiness is in God and His plans for me. All the money I will need will come from fundraising, and it will go towards where I'll be staying, eating, traveling and other day to day needs.
