Missionary Amanda Carvalho DONATE Hi, my name is Amanda Carvalho. I am a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Harpenden in the UK and have worked with YWAM the past 6 years. I grew up in a missionary family and was surrounded by people whose passion was simple: to know Jesus and make Him known. I stepped into full-time missions with a desire to see my generation encounter Jesus, discover their identity in Him, and live boldly for the Gospel. Today I serve in base leadership at YWAM Harpenden while also being a part of Neighbours & Nations, a touring ministry that mobilises young people across the UK and Europe into a missional lifestyle. Our teams partner with churches, host gatherings, and send outreach teams to call young believers into wholehearted surrender to Jesus. My role includes mentoring and training emerging leaders, coordinating outreach teams locally and internationally, and helping shape systems and culture that enable missionaries to serve effectively. MISSIONARY Manan & Anna Acharya DONATE Hi! We’re Manan and Anna Acharya and we are full time missionaries serving on staff with YWAM at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii. YWAM (Youth With A Mission) is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. We unite in a common purpose to know God and to make Him known. Manan and I’s lives were deeply impacted during our own Discipleship Training Schools in Kona. Following our DTS, we continued on with YWAM as staff members where we will be until God leads us elsewhere. Our passion is for the unreached and the lost. We want to bring Jesus to those who have never heard His name before. This takes us to some of the hardest and darkest places in the world. It is where we feel the most alive. Missionary Chris Rodriguez DONATE Will you join me in transforming the nations? Hi! My name is Chris. Over the past few years, God has been transforming my life through missions. What started as a step of faith to know Him more slowly became a clear calling: to dedicate my life to reaching and discipling the nations. A few years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Norway to do my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM. During that time God spoke deeply to my heart and showed me something I wasn’t expecting: He was calling me to return to this nation. Later, during my outreach phase, I had the opportunity to travel to Malawi in southeast Africa . In that season I saw how God was moving among different cultures and communities, and each day He continued confirming that my life would be devoted to missions. But something that especially marked my heart was seeing the spiritual reality of many young people in Europe. Many are growing up in a culture where God seems distant, where identity is searched for in many places, and yet there is still a deep hunger for purpose, truth, and hope. In the middle of this, God began speaking to me about investing my life in this generation —walking alongside young people, discipling them, helping them discover their identity in God, and training them to be sent out to the nations. Today I have the privilege of continuing this calling by serving with YWAM Kristiansand in Norway . In this new season I will be involved in discipleship, mission training, and outreach trips, walking with young people who are beginning their own journey with God and seeing how He raises them up to impact different parts of the world. It’s amazing to think that when a young person discovers who they are in God, their life can become a light that impacts many others. How you can be part of what God is doing in this season Missions are never done alone. Behind every missionary there is a team of people who pray, support, and make it possible for the vision to move forward. In order to continue serving as a full-time missionary in this season, I am building a support team to help cover $1,500 USD per month . This will allow me to continue investing in discipleship, training young people, participating in outreach trips, and developing the ministries that God is opening in this time. UR His Church is an online, purpose-built platform that allows visitors to chat, pray, grow, give and engage with others, all live and online. Missionary LaTeisha Carroll DONATE Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile on Equipnet! My name is LaTeisha Carroll, and I serve in missions full-time, helping the Body of Christ participate in the Great Commission both locally and cross-culturally. As a child, I imagined I would grow up to become a professional basketball player or a graphic designer, since I was naturally good at art and sports. But when I encountered missionaries and saw the value of taking the gospel to the nations, everything changed. A few times each year, missionaries would visit my church and share what God was doing in the nations. I was captivated by their stories. Even the cross-cultural challenges they described didn’t discourage me, it only deepened my desire to go. But it was after my dad returned from an outreach in Haiti that a true passion for missions was awakened in me. Watching him break down in tears before our church as he described the Haitian believers’ devotion to God moved my heart. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be part of what God was doing around the world. In 2013, through the leading of the Lord and the affirmation of my local church, I was commissioned to serve in missions full-time. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of leading gospel initiatives, equipping gospel laborers, and mobilizing the Body of Christ to do their part in God’s mission. My heart is to make Christ known with clarity and conviction, and to help others do the same. But I know I can't do this alone.
