I’m 18 years old and just graduated from high school this year. During high school, I had an encounter with Jesus that changed my life! It gave me a desire and passion to see people meet the same Jesus that met me. This led me to start leading worship and evangelizing on the streets. I am excited to join Circuit Riders this fall through the spring, and for the opportunity to go in faith as I have felt God call me to reach my generation for Jesus. One of the first times I heard about Circuit Riders was when my brother told me a missions group called “Circuit Riders” came to his UC Irvine campus. He said he could see people being prayed for all over campus, and many students gave their lives to Jesus and received healing. Circuit Riders is a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) training and missions community focused on reaching this generation. In 2011, they launched Circuit Riders, inspired by the story of the original Circuit Rider’s sacrifice, impact, and dedication to multiplying the message of the Gospel. Their zeal for God resulted in a movement called The First Great Awakening in the early 1700s. The same passion of the original Circuit Riders is alive today. Their focus is reaching Universities and High Schools, and they have played a big part in the Jesus revival in the last couple of years. - crmovement.com . Hope 2:7 Mission Organization Donate Hope 2:7 is a refugee ministry born out of the promises of Haggai 2:7, "And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts." We strategically invest in neighborhoods with a large population of refugees. During a typical week, you may see us playing soccer behind an apartment complex, having tea with a family from Ethiopia, celebrating a birthday with a Syrian family, showing our new Somalian friends some of the beautiful hiking trails in the Boise foothills, helping a Congolese family move into their new home, or heading to the mountains to fish with our neighbors from Afghanistan. Our goal is to build intentional relationships that lead to Spirit-led conversations about Jesus. Missionary Jalyn Neal DONATE Hey friends! My name is Jalyn Neal and this fall, I have been blessed to start my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM Kona! YWAM, which stands for Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians with the goal of knowing God and making God KNOWN. This organization equips missionaries to go out into all the world and spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Specifically, I will be joining what is called DTS. This is 3 months of training/lecture on base in Hawaii, followed by 3 months of active missions across the nations. For some background, most of my life I did not serve the Lord. I grew up and never believed in God or understood the gospel. Throughout my life I consistently found my self in deep anxiety and mental battles, until I found Jesus. May of 2023, I fully surrendered my life to God and found true freedom. God has given me a heart for evangelism, I want to share the freedom he's given me with others, my life’s passion is to see others transformed by his goodness! I was introduced to YWAM in June of 2024, seeing others who walked in obedience to the Lord with full reliance on Him, I knew this was what the Lord was calling me to. I fought with this calling due to fear of my lack of funding, but the Lord kept tugging on my heart until I fully committed! In order to attend YWAM I need to raise $10,000, which covers all of my schooling, food, and housing both in training and in outreach. $10,000 initially felt impossible, but God has given me faith, and I believe that with the support of my friends and family the impossible can be made possible. If you don't already know, I have been serving with a missions organization called YWAM for the past four years. I staffed, discipled and taught within the School of Worship in Kona for two years and am now working towards transitioning to YWAM Amsterdam where I will be working with a pioneering ministry called YMA that will be writing, recording and releasing songs that showcase and partner with God's heart for the nations. Another large part of my ministry is with my band, "Birdies". We are a group of three singer/songwriters that were commissioned out from the School of Worship in Kona to write, record and release original music. Our heart is to write songs for those in our generation who don't find typical Worship/Contemporary Christian Music accessible or relatable. Our mission is to write songs about the full experience of walking with the Lord; the struggles and trials but also the beauty and joy. We are storytellers that have a deep heart for embedding biblical truth into our lyricism while also acknowledging the most vulnerable parts of our own humanity in hopes that it would shift people's perspective of what it truly looks like to live for God. To listen to our music you can find us (Birdies) on any major streaming platform! I strongly believe that music and storytelling is not only a medium for self-expression, but more importantly a tool from the Lord that creatives in the church should be utilizing to see people from all walks of life come together and to see hearts transformed through the connective nature of music. The end goal of missions is to see God worshipped in every nation, tribe and tongue but until the nations have a right understanding of who He is, we will not see this goal reached! Your support helps not only me but countless others who have committed their lives to seeing the Great Commission fulfilled. In YWAM, I serve as a full-time volunteer which means I live exclusively off of the generosity of others.
