We are the Alvizures family. My name is David, and I am originally from Guatemala. My wife, Paula, is Chilean, and together we have two sons: León (5 years old) and Teo (2 years old), both born in Argentina. We have been married for eight years and have been serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Rosario, Argentina for over eleven years.
As a family, we carry a strong calling to invest in children, teenagers, and families. We currently serve in the YWAM ministry called King’s Kids, where we work year-round with a consistent group of 30 to 40 children from different churches and backgrounds. Our heart is to disciple them, help them grow in their relationship with God, and equip them to make Him known. Throughout the year, we organize mission trips, camps, evangelistic outreaches, discipleship programs, and Bible studies.
Paula serves in several areas within our missionary community. She is part of the leadership team and helps coordinate events and administrative responsibilities. I (David) serve in the dance ministry, which is made up of 10 dancers from different parts of the world. Our focus is to redeem the arts, disciple artists, and train them to use their gifts to glorify God. In addition, Paula teaches acting classes and I teach breakdance classes at AME Studio, an arts studio open to the community, where we work with both children and adults.
As we continue walking in this calling, we see our field of ministry expanding. We have been invited to serve in Panama at a children’s conference, in Thailand to support the launch of a children and family ministry, as well as other ministry trips. With these growing opportunities come new challenges and greater needs.
We cannot do this alone. We are seeking to build a committed support team who will partner with us in prayer and financial support. Your partnership allows us to continue serving, traveling, discipling, and investing in the next generation as a family.
Together, we can extend God’s Kingdom and faithfully pursue the vision He has given us.
