Hello, thank you for taking the time to let us share the vision God has placed on our hearts.
My name is Michael Duarte. I’m a musician preparing to serve as a missionary in Houston, Texas with a heart for ministering to the Lord, and intentional ministry. We are partnering with Nations House of Prayer where we would serve as levites unto the Lord; to pursue wholehearted love for God and intentional outreach to others, bringing together the heart of the Great Commandment and the Great commission. My wife and I, along with our two boys, 12 and 1, feel deeply called to invest our lives in reaching the lost, all while seeking the Lord and learning to sit at His feet. We feel led to help build the house of prayer and rebuild the tabernacle of David just as it says in Acts 15:16-18.
The Lord has redeemed my life and shaped our calling through seasons of brokenness and restoration, giving us a deep compassion for those who feel overlooked, disqualified, or far from God. Because of this we carry a burden for the lost who are searching for identity, purpose, and hope. We believe and have learned for ourselves that true transformation begins in the presence of God, and our desire is to help others cultivate a life of intimacy with Him, learning to listen, abide and follow Jesus daily.
Through worship, creative outreach, and relational discipleship, we seek to help mentor those in learning to live from a place of surrender and obedience to Christ. We spent 3 years as youth leaders, where our calling to the lost and broken was truly awakened and confirmed.
As we step into our next season and into our calling we are seeking prayer and financial partners who feel led to invest in what God is doing and leading our family to do in Houston in the 3rd ward community. Your support allows us to serve faithfully, focus fully on ministry and help create a space where the nations can come together and encounter God. By investing in our ministry you become partners as we fulfill the great commission and advance the Kingdom of God.
