- Jim Brown
Missionary Jim Brown DONATE Our calling is always been to follow the great commission in making disciples and not just making them but the the later part of the verse is to teach them to obey his commands. My wife and I have always felt the call to walk with young adults discipling them in a holistic manner teaching them not just biblical things but guiding them in all aspects of life. No matter where God has us as our assignment changes our calling never does. We are always gathering young people around our table and walking with them regularly. Jim Donate
- Julia Higginbotham
MISSIONARY Julia Higginbotham DONATE Hello! My name is Julia, and I am a full-time missionary seeking to gather people wherever I can for the sake of Jesus. I am currently partnering with a local church in Rhode Island called Generation Church. I will be diving deeper into theological understanding, worship leading, discipling, and being discipled, as well as using my gifts to glorify the Lord through the church. I will be working with them to pioneer a college campus ministry at the University of Rhode Island while making connections and friends by working part time at a local coffee shop. I believe Jesus has been misrepresented to a whole generation! I love talking with people around a table or in living rooms (or just about anywhere!) about how a relationship with Jesus will change their lives forever. Will you partner with me through prayer and financial support? I am in need of monthly support to cover my daily living expenses! If you would like more information about the church, their website is: https://generationri.com/ Much love, Julia Donate
- Nolan Andrews
Missionary Nolan Andrews DONATE Hey there! My name is Nolan Andrews, and I am currently a part of the YWAM St Moritz staff team. I live in the state of Colorful Colorado, but I'm gone most of the year, serving with YWAM overseas. This year, I am super excited to be able to run the DTS, where we will host a 3 month lecture phase in Switzerland, and later apply our lectures and go serve the community over in new countries, most likely Albania. YWAM St Moritz has been my home over the past few years, and I'm excited to go continue serving. Our goals as a ministry heavily revolve around peoples passions for the outdoors. We are always looking to connect with people in the outdoor communities around us, as well as using out passion and love for the outdoors to go to the hard to reach places that most people wouldn't be willing to go. - Isaac Smith
Missionary Isaac Smith DONATE Hello! Isaac Smith here and I’m staffing in YWAM! Right after graduating high school, God called me to YWAM(Youth With A Mission). He placed the next generation of North Korea in my heart. Throughout DTS (Discipleship Training School), God continued to confirm this calling through seminars, friends, and pastors. He allowed me to see the beauty not only of North Korea but of Korea as a whole. Many speakers shared what the Lord had placed on their hearts. They spoke about how we are all part of the reunification and the role foreigners play in the Korean church, how America will stand behind the Korean church as a source of support. DTS is a six-month period spent with a group of like-minded brothers and sisters, chasing after who God is and striving to be disciples of Christ. Throughout this time, God reveals so much as you immerse yourself in His kingdom's culture. The first thing God revealed to me was that being His disciple is a “one day at a time” adventure. A mindset He wanted to correct in me was the idea of “one and done.” I believed that once you surrender your doubts, worries, and ambitions into His hands, you would never face them again. But every day, He reminded me—and still reminds me—that I must lay everything I have at His feet daily. This is what it means to be a disciple of Christ. On days when I failed to do this, I felt distant, as if His voice was behind a wall. So I continuously die to my old self, following Jesus wherever He is guiding me—hanging my old clothes on the cross and putting on the robes He has prepared for me. Another key lesson He wanted to instill in me was the joy found in community and relationships. Before DTS, the enemy planted a lie in my mind that I was a burden to others and that being alone was where I belonged. But in the first week of DTS, our speaker, the leader of our DTS, Myungsook Nam, spoke on exactly that—joy in community and relationships. Her main point was that joy from the Lord is expressed through those around us; therefore, joy is found in relationships—not only with God but also with other disciples of Christ. Through these people, whom I can now call my new family, He has shown me immense love and joy. Now, as DTS comes to an end, I am left with a gratitude I cannot fully express. God called me to Korea but for the first three weeks, I had no clue why I was in Korea. I wrestled with doubt and reconsideration during that time. At the height of this doubt, during the third week, our school was invited to attend a seminar called The One Day Gathering. I was hesitant to go, as we had a book report due and I was working on a video for the DTS. However, one of the staff members came to me and suggested I attend. Curious, I asked for more details and learned that the seminar was a brief introduction to the North Korean ministry happening around us. The staff member shared that when he attended the same event last year, he had little interest in this ministry, but after hearing about what was happening in North Korea and how people were responding, God tugged on his heartstrings and called him deeper into his mission for North Korea. So, I decided to go and even convinced a few other students to join me. Through this seminar and the testimonies of speakers who had experienced North Korea first hand—including those who had escaped—God opened my eyes to my purpose in this season in Korea. My immediate thought was, How do I stay in Korea? God used my lifelong love for Northeast Asia and the deep-rooted relationships I had built within the school to call me to staff at the base in Gadeok. This was an unmistakable calling from God that I could not ignore. With this revelation, I spoke to other staff members about my heart for North Korea, and they affirmed my calling to Korea—to be part of the reunification of the Korean Church and One Korea. Just to introduce you to the base in Korea—the exact location is in Busan, Korea, in Gadeok. If you don’t know what YWAM is, it stands for Youth With A Mission, first established in 1960 by Loren Cunningham and his wife, Darlene Cunningham. There are over 1,200 bases in more than 180 countries. Each base organizes schools referred to as DTSs (Discipleship Training Schools), usually lasting around six months. Depending on the size of the base, they may run multiple DTSs at once, each with a different central focus. Mine was i2i (Intimacy to Impact)—designed to develop a personal relationship with God in order to make an impact on the world. A DTS typically consists of three months of lectures and discipleship, followed by three months of outreach. The outreach locations vary for each DTS as they are guided by the Lord. Isaac Donate
- Moriah Horn
MISSIONARY Moriah Horn DONATE I am a missionary with YWAM Borgen in the North of Norway, but am originally from Upstate New York. (We are the most northern YWAM base in the world!) I first came to Borgen as a student in 2015, and during that time God placed the youth here on my heart. My next step was to receive training and raise support so that I would be able to come and properly invest in the youth. Between 2016-2018 I completed a PCYM (Principles of Child and Youth Ministry) school and had an internship with a YWAM base in Sweden that was working with Kings Kids, a family and youth ministry. There I gained more hands-on experience to round out what I had learned through PCYM. Finally, after much waiting on Visas and seeking God for my next steps it was time to move back to Norway in January 2019. Since then, I have been building relationships and laying foundations for a youth ministry, meeting with youth, spending time with them, getting to know them, and hearing them out, all the while telling them about God and showing His love at every opportunity. I am so blessed to be working with these teens and seeing where God takes them in their lives and walk with Him. If you have any questions or would like to follow my ministry, feel free to email me at moriah@familyhorn.com! Donate

- Bella Gilmore
Missionary Bella Gilmore DONATE Hi friends! My name is Bella Gilmore. Since I was sixteen years old the Lord has called me to full-time missions! I don’t exactly know what that means for the future yet, but what I do know is the Lord is constantly unlocking new passions in my heart for His nations and His people. In 2023 I attended the six-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Fire and Fragrance at YWAM Kona. I spent three months in Kona receiving hands-on training preparing for the mission field. Then, I spent the other three months in Peru for outreach where we saw hundreds of salvations and healings! This truly gripped my heart for the nations even more! While away, the Lord gave me a burning desire to gain more knowledge of His Word. I went back to Kona in October 2024 to attend the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). This was a nine-month school that gave me an in depth understanding of what the Bible says and how to apply it to our daily lives. This involved about 40+ hours of homework a week as we dived into the historical context of all 66 books (did I mention we read the whole Bible 5 times!!!!) I truly believe this has prepared me for my journey into the mission field and expanded my heart for the Word. I loved SBS so much I am now staffing this school! This looks like walking alongside the upcoming students and supporting them in the season I just walked through. Also with staffing I will be teaching in the lectures and diving even deeper into the word as I prep teachings and grade students work. I am SO honored to step into this position. I’m currently praying for monthly financial partners who feel led to join this journey with me. I need to raise $800 per month to cover basic living expenses like rent, groceries, and other monthly needs while I continue training and serving. Your support not only helps sustain my everyday life but it’s an investment in sending out prepared, equipped missionaries to reach the unreached. I have SO much faith the Lord will provide as He always does, and I am so thankful I get to partner with y’all to do so! If you have any questions I would love to answer them!
