Missionary Delaney Gowin DONATE Hello, my name is Delaney Gowin. I attended the Discipleship Training School (DTS), Fire and Fragrance, at the Youth with a Mission (YWAM) base in Kona, Hawaii. YWAM is an organization that equips young individuals with tools and opportunities to spread the gospel and live a life fully surrendered to the Lord. As stated on YWAM’s website, “YWAM is a global movement, full of young people driven by a passion to know God and make Him known.” Before starting my DTS in the fall of 2019, I was anxious, lost, and unaware of what a relationship with Jesus looked like. Fire and Fragrance redirected my focus to the Lord and gave me tools to pursue Him in a deeper way. Through lectures and one-on-ones, the leaders taught me how to hear God's voice, spread the gospel, and the importance of studying the bible. I then discovered that it is He who defines me, sets me free, calls me to live higher, and is my strength when I am weak. During my DTS, the Lord placed the desire in my heart to spread the gospel to the youth of the world. A passion grew in me to see this next generation walk out in complete freedom with God. Nations House of Prayer Mission Organization Donate Nations House of Prayer exists to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission through day and night worship, intercession, and missions in the inner city of Houston. As we come into the house of prayer, we minister to the Lord and receive the burdens on His heart. And as we go out into the community and the world, we carry the gospel as the hands and feet of Jesus to the poor, the powerless, the orphan, and the widow. We host prayer sets throughout the week and gather once a month for Nations Night, a celebration of God’s presence and work in our community. We also host a summer internship, local trips, and are pioneering a 9-month missions training school that will include both local and international outreach. Through your financial partnership, we can move towards fulfilling this vision in Houston and seeing the gospel spread across this city and around the world! MISSIONARY Kelsy Francis DONATE My name is Kelsy Francis, and I am a full-time missionary with Fire & Fragrance South Africa. YWAM is an international missions organization with the core values of ‘knowing God and making Him known.’ As Fire & Fragrance, a movement within YWAM, we are passionate about raising up a generation whose hearts burn for Jesus and whose lives carry His fragrance to the lost. In July 2023, I moved to Potchefstroom, where I serve with Woven, a ministry focused on reaching some of the most lost and overlooked—women in prostitution and gang members. We are committed to addressing areas of injustice by sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and creating practical solutions. With a vision to multiply, our aim is to activate believers to respond. This work is a beautiful partnership between those on the ground and those who give to see lives transformed. As I commit to serving in Africa, I am building a team of partners who believe in this mission and want to be part of what God is doing here. Whether newly sober, out of prison, new to faith, or just in a stagnant season in life, Starting Point will offer a safe and encouraging living experience that points to seeking the kingdom of God above all else and living a fruitful life. At Starting Point, men will be equipped with the tools necessary to overcome addiction, depression, and lack of purpose through massive action. Being in community helps each of us realize our full potential as iron sharpens iron. We will dive into the word of God, we will worship at the local church, and we will serve the community. We will cover life skills that will better prepare these men to become productive members of society with an emphasis on sobriety, spiritual development, personal development, goal setting, life skills, and recreation. Missionary Spencer Galati DONATE Spencer Galati is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for sharing the Gospel and serving others. With a deep passion for God’s Word and a calling to missions, he desires to bring hope, love, and truth to communities near and far. Spencer will be completing a discipleship training program (DTS) with the Circuit Riders, a ministry affiliated with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), as part of their Messenger Track. Missionary Katie McLellen DONATE Hello friends and family! As many of you know, I will be attending YWAM Kona this fall, starting October 1st! YWAM stands for “Youth With A Mission,” and it is an organization where young adults become better equipped to share the love of Christ with people throughout the nations! I will be doing the Endeavor DTS (Discipleship Training School) for 6 months, where I will be in Kona, Hawaii for three months, and in the nations for another 3 months! During my time in Hawaii, I will be alongside other young adults where we will go through a training process to become equipped with deeper evangelism skills, and where we will deepen our knowledge and relationship with Jesus! After this phase, we will be sent into the nations for the next three months to share the love of Jesus with those who may not know Him, and those who may not have experienced the depth of His love before. I am so excited to be a part of this ministry and experience, and I am so eager to dive deeper into my relationship with Jesus! As I’m getting closer to leaving, I’m asking for your support and prayers over me. Although this will be one of the most life changing and amazing experiences of my life, it’s also going to be difficult in some ways. I’m asking for prayers over my heart, that the Lord will soften me and prepare my heart and mind over these 6 months, and over the lives of the people I will be reaching throughout my time away. And that my team and I will be kept safe and protected from any harm that may come. Lastly, I am also fundraising in order to go on this trip. Unfortunately, travel and housing are not cheap! Missionary Lyric Tharp DONATE Hello! My name is Lyric Tharp and I am a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth with A Mission). YWAM's mission statement is to bring people together to train and help develop their relationship with God and others, to help them find the purpose God has placed in their lives, and to empower others to live like Christ no matter where God will place them. We are a community that lays our lives before the cross daily. It's His love that drives us to fulfill the promises of God and share the gospel to ALL! This is my very first year giving my full YES into my calling as a missionary. I dipped my toes in when I applied for DTS (Discipleship Training School) with Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach, California this last spring, not knowing God was going to completely interrupt the plans I had for my life in the best way possible. The SECOND I started my DTS, God met me, changed my heart, my intentions, and my purpose. I was swooned by him. I thought I knew His love, but I had never felt it the way I did the moment I let go of my life and fully submerged giving it ALL to Christ. He gave me this hunger to live a life dedicated to meeting the needs of the lost and making heaven crowded! I got to experience unity like NO OTHER amongst my peers while preparing for missions and just bringing revival and restoration to the city and our lives! During my DTS missions trip I've witnessed healings, breaking of chains, an outbreak of revival and JOY, and SO MUCH MORE! I recently have received news that I have been given the opportunity to partake in a secondary school with YWAM in Rogaland, Norway. Starting this September, I'll be taking a three-month Biblical Core Course with an optional missions trip to Israel, where we also are able to firsthand experience biblical history! During this time, I will be studying the Bible, learning how to use it in daily life, preaching, bible studies, etc. and serve both local and global communities through evangelism, training, and mercy ministry.
