My name is Makmot (Rob)ert Ochaya Issa, and I'm a young adult from Minneapolis Minnesota. My family and I come from South Sudan and I am the second youngest of thirteen and one of two who were born in the United States of America. The family I grew up in was a primary influence on my development in knowing Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. The earliest memories I have heavily incorporate the indulgence within the local Church in a context such as Sunday school, youth group, retreats, plays, choir and so much more.  

The ministry that the Lord has put on my heart and is further equipping me to be a part of has come into understanding over the past few years. There has been this burden that I have acquired through my pursuit after the Lord to see the unification of the local and global church and the Kingdom of God advance. Revelation 5:9 says, "and they sang a new song, saying you are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were slain and with your blood purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation."

I began to dream with the Lord and imagine what it would look like to live in a world where the body of Christ is multigenerational, multicultural, multilingual, multiracial, and multifaceted in such a manner that the infinite expressions of God are able to begin to be ushered in. Not only that but I began to imagine a societal biblical reformation that puts the body of Christ at the forefront of all the spheres of society. In a world where within societal spheres such as family, economy, government, religion, education, media, and celebration the body of Christ isn't just present but is dominating and firing on all cylinders. This is unto the showcasing of the chasm that is created from those who are genuinely and wholeheartedly submitted to the Lord and from those who live according to their own governance.

My heart is now burning for the awakening of the bride of Christ. Making sure that we are doing our due diligence to seek and understand the tactics of the kingdom of darkness in our day and age exposing them and combating them for false, deceptive, and manipulative nature within all respective aspects of society. Simultaneously equipping the people of God to reveal the nature of the Kingdom of light by both living out and articulating the love of God that guides us towards righteousness and justice that are the foundation of His throne.

What this is all unto is towards the establishment of an organization and or local church that raises up individuals to know God and to make Him known. Bringing about an installation on the importance of being a prayerful people in our day and age. While calling people to give their allegiance to the Kingdom of God by actively living out lives that resemble the maker that fashioned us into existence and we are image bears of. The mission I'm on is to usher in a world that Is free in Christ, liberated in Christ, and knows undignified worship in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ and Christ crucified.

This can only happen when it isn't built upon me as the individual taking charge but there is a committed coalition of individuals keeping the main thing the main thing. I humbly ask and invite you to take ownership and partnership with me in this vision. I ask that you would commit to being a prayerful disciple over this vision and the context of it to come to fruition. As I partner with YWAM In this next season I will be in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe with a course called Word by Heart. My mission is the vision I have stated above and I believe that equipping in Eastern society will lead to reformation in Western society. This is why the Lord is inviting me to step into this region and further partnership with YWAM, for further equipping unto biblical reformation that leads to transformation in all spheres of society.
