Hi there, my name is Jolizna. I am South African and have been in full-time missions since 2018.

I am part of a community within the greater YWAM family called Fire and Fragrance South Africa. We pioneered this base in 2020 in a town called Potchefstroom, in the North-West of South Africa. Fire and Fragrance is a movement focused on training and sending missionaries to go to the ends of the earth, to those who have never heard the good news of Jesus, while burning with love for God.

I am writing this letter because I have searched this life for something worthy of giving myself to, I could find nothing until met by Jesus - and it ruined me for anything else. I know each person’s obedience looks different - for me, it is a life of missions, and it has been a great joy running with like - hearted people.

Over the last few years since pioneering, we have seen over ten thousand saved. We have seen thousands equipped and sent through our Discipleship Training Schools and Secondary Bible, Revival and Reformations and Oral Bible Translation schools. Locally we have seen many lives transformed through our local rehab, high school, university student, fitness and evangelism ministries. Women in prostitution coming to salvation, restored to dignity, and taken off the streets through our local “Night ministry”. Within our community I have the privilege to help lead our Prayer Room, building a people of prayer with a missional heart in Potchefstroom and in South Africa unto seeing houses of prayer raised up in believer’s living rooms, high schools, universities, and in the nations.

The harvest is ready, and much work still lies ahead, but Jesus is worthy to receive His reward in full in every nation - I do what I do because I believe this is possible and I ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with me financially and in prayer as we believe and work toward seeing this happen.
