My Story

Hi, I’m Ramota — a Nigeria-born, Newark-raised Jesus girl and vocational missionary to the next generation. Missions wasn’t always on my radar. In fact, as a young immigrant determined to overcome the plight of inner-city life, I chased the American Dream; and for a while, I caught it. I found success in New York City’s fashion industry, producing media that reached the globe. But inside, I still felt empty; grasping for identity and significance in success, accolades, money, material things, alcohol, and relationships. Then came a domino effect of holy disruptions. I quit my job, surrendered my life to Jesus, and developed an insatiable appetite for the Word of God. It was in Scriptures that the Lord awakened a missional spirit in me, and I’ve never looked back.

My Call to Mission

What started as a six-month training with Circuit Riders has become years of full-time vocational missions. Since 2018, I’ve preached the gospel around the globe, built movements, developed leaders, led outreach teams, and created media that calls a generation into God’s dream of reaching the world with His message. Today, I serve with Circuit Riders as a preacher, trainer, and Director of Media; leveraging the power of media and mobilization to equip next-gen believers to become gospel voices both online and in real life.

My Mission Field

In today’s culture, young people are chronically online; immersed in digital spaces that shape their worldview, values, and voice. While many view the digital world as a distraction from the things of God, I see it as one of the most strategic and urgent mission fields of our time. If the body of Christ fails to adopt the digital landscape as a net to reach the lost, we risk losing a generation to louder voices offering counterfeit identity and purpose. That’s why my mission is to build missional voices, movements, and brands that occupy the World Wide Web with the gospel. And ultimately, lead young people into real-life encounters with Jesus through gatherings, trainings, and outreach.
