Missionary Jonah Santos DONATE Hi! My name is Jonah Santos! I’m 26 years old and from Sweden. (2016) I gave my life to Christ when He met me personally at 17 years old. (2019) Three years after I gave my life to the Lord, He called me into missions at a Summer camp when the preacher called forward anyone who felt led to pursue missions. I felt such a strong tug on my heart and I knew the Lord was calling me into missions. I went up and gave the Lord my yes publicly to missions. I got prayed for and that was it. I didn’t feel anything specific that night but I knew missions is what the Lord has called me into. (2021) Two years after that, I did a DTS(Discipleship Training School) with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Honolulu. For my 10 week mission trip, the Lord took my team and I to Kenya in Africa. The Lord broke my heart for missions and gave me such an UNEXPLAINABLY loving heart for His people and it was also during this trip to Africa that the Lord showed me His heart for a specific undisclosed (for security reasons) location in Asia and He called me to go there. (2023) Two years later, I did an “intro to staffing” program called “Gateway” in Honolulu. While in the program, the Lord gave me a vision about going to this undisclosed location and into villages and suburbs that don’t have worship songs in their OWN mother tongue and teaching them how to write worship songs directly from the Bible. Most nations sing worship in English, which is sometimes a hard language for the locals to understand, but there is something about singing worship in your own mother tongue that meets you in a specific way. I would know since my mother is Swedish and that’s been my mother tongue since I was born. Now that I live in the States, it is very special to me to hear and sing worship to the Lord in Swedish. (2024-2025) Three years after Kenya and one year after “Gateway”, I led a mission team to this undisclosed location. This is such a fulfillment for my life from the Lord as He told me I was going to this location back in 2021! Thank You Jesus! We were there for 10 weeks doing ministry in missions. While being in this nation, I got to talk with some of the locals here about worship and songwriting and there is such a need for discipleship and guidance in that area. The locals want more worship in their own mother tongues in the villages they are from, but they don’t know how to write them. The Lord has called me now to do a “School of Worship” at YWAM Honolulu that starts April 7th, 2025. He has called me to attend the school because He wants me to start it at a YWAM base in the location He has called me to to teach worship and song writing from the Bible to the locals there. But, in order to start a school, I have to have done it first. Missionary Kelly Silva Nunes DONATE Hi friends! I’m Kelly Nunes and I want to introduce you to my missionary life. My missionary life began in April 2023 when I joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) to complete a Discipleship Training School (DTS). During this 6-month experience, where I had a completely life change experience with God, discovering more of Him, His love for me and finding so much identity for myself in Him. My biggest take away was having a BIG HEART FOR SHARING GOD WITH EVERY PEOPLE & NATION. The last 3 months of the training I spent on this amazing Outreach mission trip in WEST AFRICA specifically in the nations of Guinea-Bissau and Gambia!! The 3 Months That Changed My Life! In these experiences of going to the UNREACHED PEOPLE in a Muslim country, I saw for the first time what is to share about Jesus to someone that NEVER heard His name before! Someone who doesn’t know anything about Him and to see their face changing as the person hears about the Gospel for the first time in their life! So I started to feel God calling me to experience that more and more… What began as three months became a whole year! At the end of it I said YES to the Lord’s calling to me for that moment and for Him showing me that He has so much more to do. So I became KELLY, the FULL-TIME MISSIONARY , my home became the YWAM base in Guinea-Bissau and the community, my sweet new family :) What I’ve Been Doing This Year: Worked on a DTS for Guineans To be able see Guineans growing in the foundation of their faith and to help them to share about it - reaching their own people for Christ! Led an Outreach team Lead Guineans to take their position of leadership and to make a difference in peoples lives, who God called them to be with the power and love of God and through them, to touch others, it was powerful!! Bible Distribution We are handing out Bibles in audio on a SD card in THEIR MOTHER TONGUE through the whole country. To see someone hearing the word of God in their language for the first time became my faaavorite thing in life!!! The most beautiful smile is the first thing that comes up! Helping foreign Outreach Teams As I went to Guinea-Bissau on a team for a short time mission trip, many others come every year from different nations on their mission trip as part of their DTS. So I basically help and facilitate the teams during their time in the country. I get the chance of evangelize and be part of their ministry time which is such a blessing to see all the miracles, healings, salvation and testimony of what God is doing in this nation. It’s just clear that we are living a special time of the Lord in Guinea-Bissau! Moving Toward the Future: Our team is moving quickly to reach our goal of distributing the Bible in every language in Guinea-Bissau by 2028 ! We are receiving many teams committed to this work and also training the local church to move with us on this. A Life of Faith and Dependence This journey has been an overwhelming experience of God’s faithfulness. I’m in awe of His provision and love. Every day, I’m reminded of how privileged I am to give my life to His purposes and to be part of His plans in the harvest field. As a full-time volunteer missionary , my dependence is completely on God’s provision, as my work is 100% voluntary, meaning I don’t receive any salary. I have felt for a while less of a calling to a specific country or region, but to the world at large. Within that, I have heart for helping those with broken Identities and hearts, which will be the long-term focus of my work. I will always chase where God is leading me, and what He has for me. I long to see a world free from broken hearts, binding burdens, and eyes clouded by abuse, self-hatred, or finding worth from the wrong places. Reaching that point by working in and through God. MISSIONARY Mary Grace Curran DONATE While on the World Race this past year, I both experienced and witnessed healing, new depths of intimacy with the Lord, and that good-tasting FREEDOM on all levels. Where: Huntington Beach, California + The NATION When: Discipleship Training school (October – December) Outreach at college campuses (January-April) What: For 3 months, I will join about 100 youth in a Discipleship Training School to receive scriptural training, evangelize across California college campuses, and learn how to use our gifts for the kingdom in specific skill set training. From January to April, Circuit Riders will host the Carry the Love Tour across the United States to bring the Gospel to those in colleges across the nation. We will equip college students to live in the freedom of Jesus and go to the nations themselves. Why: I have witnessed the broken, the lost, and impoverished all around the world, yet I still haven’t witnessed spiritual poverty greater than in the United States. People are searching for more, people want healing, people need JESUS. The Bible tells us to spread the Gospel to all nations, and it’s easy to forget one of those nations is the United States. Revival has already begun across the U.S. and it’s only getting BIGGER! New life, healing, baptisms, freedom, the Gospel is being made KNOWN. Jungjin joined Crossroads Discipleship Training School (DTS) at YWAM Kona in 2023 after God worked in her heart to desire to be a partner with God for His mission and start walking with the Lord to fulfill His good purpose in 2017 (Philippians 2:13). I have been studying graphic design in college at El Camino for two years now and have completely fallen in love with it! And now the Lord has granted me an opportunity to expand it to use for His Kingdom through an amazing organization called Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach, California. What will I be doing? Circuit Riders is part of an organization named YWAM (Youth With A Mission) with locations worldwide dedicated to discovering passions and completing The Great Commission to guide people to Christ. I have been accepted to the media track with Circuit Riders and will be in their Discipleship Training School for 3 months starting October 2024. During this time not only will I be taught to share the Gospel, but I will be learning to work in church media in areas like graphic design, photography, videography and social media marketing! Working for a church team is my dream career, so I am very excited to work with a team and learn and grow more during the fall! I then have also been accepted into the Carry The Love Track, which through their different country wide stops, I will be touring with a team through different college and high school campuses all throughout America and possibly even Europe or South Africa. This will be for 3 months as well, right after finishing the school! Missionary Ashley Thomas DONATE Hey friends!! My name is Ashley Thomas and currently, I am a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) serving in Fiji. When I was younger, I went on my first mission trip to Costa Rica. Sharing the greatest love I have ever known with people who did not know Jesus radically changed my life. Since then, the Lord has continued to grow my heart for His people all around the world. I knew missions was something I wanted to be a part of my life forever, so in college I pursued a degree in nursing with a focus in global studies. After graduating I received my license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and took part in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM Ships Kona. During that time, I saw the Lord’s heart and vision for the nation of Fiji. After my DTS I returned to Fiji to do a Discipleship Bible School and continued to foster the relationships I had created throughout the last season. Now I have the privilege of returning to Fiji to staff a pioneering DTS. I am beyond excited to see what the Lord has in store for the islanders as they pursue life on mission as His disciples. Missionary Anna Lise Reiner DONATE Hi! My name is Anna Lise Reiner. I love God and believe that everyone was made for a relationship with Him. I see now how God had been pursuing my heart all my life, and eventually I gave in and surrendered my life to Christ in college. God has since taken me on a wild journey. He called me into full time ministry and I made my home with a church in Truckee California where I was a resident in their leadership program for a year and a half. There I was discipled, grew in leadership, and served the local church. Then, God directed me to international missions and I now am based out of Kona Hawaii. My calling is to be loved by God, and from that place love God, and then share that love with others as God directs my footsteps. Currently, I am a missionary on staff with Youth With A Mission Kona. We believe that God is doubling the international missions force and He's doing it with Gen Z. I staff a discipleship training school here called a DTS. It's a six month program where youth come and get discipled and grow in their relationship with God for three months in Kona, and then go on a three month mission trip! I help disciple students in the school and also lead outreach teams! I love Gen Z, discipleship, and leading youth into their missional callings as I pursue mine! We train, equip, and go spread the gospel to people who have never heard it before. We want to - and believe - we can see the Great Commission fulfilled in our lifetime. As a missionary, I need the help and support of others. I can not do this alone. Being on the mission field full time is hard - I need the encouragement and covering of your prayers. I need a community of people praying for me and with me on this journey. God has called us all to the Great Commission. The Great Commission is the last command Jesus gave before He ascended into heaven. We, as people living on the other side of Jesus’s victory, and having been given the luxury to hear and know the gospel, now have the invitation to partner with Him to spread the gospel to all peoples so that all the Earth may have been given the chance to choose Jesus.
