It is a discipleship and missions training program focused on spiritual growth, leadership development, and living out faith through action. This school equips students to grow deeper in their relationship with God while being trained to serve others with humility, discipline, and purpose and I can't wait to be a part of it. I will be living in Kona from January-March helping out with the school, connecting with students and growing in leadership. MISSIONARY Lexi Mabuni DONATE There have been over 20 school shootings in America since the beginning of 2018. This statistic is alarming and must propel the Church into action. We believe that the love of God is the solution to these issues. The love of God will transforms teenagers and bring them out of depression, anxiety, hopelessness, fear, and loneliness. We have seen God move in the lives of kids to bring transformation, hope, clarity, peace, and joy! This year, we saw over 800 teenagers surrender their lives to Jesus and enter into relationship with Him. Lexi Mabuni is being launched into the American mission field with a focus on high schoolers in our nation. She has a heart to see God take teenagers from brokenness into abundant life, to see them raised up as leaders on their campuses, to bring transformation and ultimately to see Jesus receive His reward- souls saved! Lexi gave her life to Jesus as a junior in high school and relates deeply to the need of missionaries sent onto campuses; she loves that God has given her this assignment! Lexi is on staff for a mission’s organization called Circuit Riders. While most of their focus is on university students, Lexi’s team is focused on seeing God move on American high schools. She and the team will be: Staffing leadership summer camps to train and disciple high school students through relationship with Jesus. Traveling the nation doing assemblies on middle/high school campuses to discuss issues and bring solution/ carry the Good News! Pioneering new campuses and youth groups so that the team can extend their reach with the Gospel. Helping to staff our discipleship training school that trains young adult missionaries in evangelism on high schools and universities. Lexi is able to do these things with the help of financial supporters who believe in what Jesus is doing in America! Singapore being a boiling pot of many different Asian cultures and people, and being and ideal location and country for people to go through. YWAM Singapore hopes to send out many missionaries all across Asia, and to make God known all over the continent. My goals are to go into the unreached places of Asia and to build relationships and share Gods love. I will be going all around Asia, building relationships, pioneering new ministries, encouraging and helping Christians and communities, and discipling young believers. I hope to see a revival in Asia, where they see Gods love and goodness and are changed by encounters with Him and His love. I am currently going to Indonesian islands by boat. Indonesia has over 6,000 inhabited islands. The government doesn’t account for people on islands with a population of less than 500. I am thrilled to share I have been given the opportunity to attend the Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) in Lakeside, Montana (June 17 – November 25)! Over the past few years, I’ve faced some hard seasons and had to let go of things that didn’t hold eternal value. But through it all, God has remained faithful—never once leaving my side. In that refining process, He’s deepened my hunger to know Him more and to reflect His love to others. My life is His. And now more than ever, I want to live selflessly—for His glory, not my own. WHAT IS YWAM DTS MONTANA? YWAM (Youth With a Mission) is a global Christian missions movement founded in 1960. Its heart is to "know God and make Him known." The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a 5-month program (June–November) designed to help young people grow in their faith and step boldly into missions. The first half of DTS is focused on training—diving deep into the Word, growing in our relationship with God, and learning practical tools for ministry. The second half is an international outreach, where we’ll take what we’ve learned and share God’s love with others around the world. This DTS has an “Endurance” focus, which means we’ll also be trained in backcountry hiking and mountain camping. This equips us to minister in remote villages while on our international outreach. Our outreach location will likely be in Asia but the specific country hasn’t been confirmed yet. One possible destination is Nepal! We want to inspire a generation to love like Jesus! Jesus saved me from my sin during my Junior year of college and my heart was instantly gripped by the importance of college ministry. Shortly after that, God called me to Circuit Riders! I did my first DTS (Discipleship Training School) in California where my heart for missions stirred in me. My life was completely transformed to love Jesus with my whole heart and to see the need for His people to be met with his love. After my time in California, God revealed to me the call upon my life to see the youth across America reached with the gospel. This is my first year serving with YWAM as a full time missionary, and I am so expectant for this next season! Missionary Josh Hershberger DONATE Hi! My name is Josh Hershberger, and I am a missionary with YWAM! Starting in August 2026, I will be moving to Tønsberg, Norway for 2 years to plant a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base! YWAM is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world! The vision for YWAM started in 1960 when God called a man named Loren Cunningham to send out "waves of missionaries" to every country in the world with the simple goal to know God and to make Him known! I felt a call from the Lord to join a team of 10 people to start a YWAM worship and prayer initiative in Tønsberg, where my role will be leading worship, giving worship training, and leading mission trips to places such as Thailand and Japan. Our goal as a base will be to host a resting place for the Lord. We will be hosting prayer and worship nights throughout the week, and hosting people for meals to build a strong, Jesus centered community. He is the focus of everything that we do, and who we put our trust in. What we do is worthless without Him being behind it. As a missionary, I have the responsibility of raising 100% of my support! I see it as a blessing rather than a burden to be able to rely fully on the Lord in every aspect of my life, including finances. I believe that the Lord doesn't lack finances, and he will provide (Matthew 6:25-33), and so I am trusting the Lord to meet my goal of $2500 in monthly support. Every donation will go towards things like groceries, housing, transportation, communication, and living expenses. Psalm 24:1 says "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it".
