My name is Zeke Hutt and I am planning to serve at a Youth With A Mission(YWAM) base in Muizenberg, South Africa, as a staff member for their Discipleship Training School(DTS) this fall, 2025! YWAM’s vision is to see young people go from every nation, to every nation, to spread the Gospel to people that are unreached! I grew up going to church and a Christian school, but really started a personal relationship with the Lord in high school. During my senior year of high school I felt God leading me to do a DTS with YWAM in the fall of 2023! This school was amazing and I learned so much about Jesus and what it looks like to live life with Him! My outreach was to South Africa, where my team and I did lots of kids and student ministry, along with sports, and homeless ministry! During this season my heart for South Africa continued to grow! God has opened doors for me to go back to YWAM in South Africa as a short term member of their team, to staff a DTS and co-lead an outreach! I will be involved in student discipleship, leading a small group of guys, and guiding the students as they encounter the Lord in an intense season! I have been walking with The Lord since the beginning of January, 2020. The gospel was preached to me for the first time in college and Jesus has saved my life! He set me free from substances, addiction, depression, spiritual bondage and gave me true life in Christ. I have been so radically changed that I have this burning passion to let the whole world know about the wonders of Jesus and bring healing to those who are far from Him. I recently joined YWAM, which is a missionary training school to help launch me into the mission field. Since joining in April, 2022, I have received a 3-month course training and a 3-month field mission in South Sudan. After returning, I decided to join a pioneering team to start a base in Mombasa Kenya. Our team vision is to “save the lost, revive the saved, and disciple them all.” Some of our team goals include: • Establish a base to live in and house other missionaries for future short-term missions • Enroll in language courses to bridge the cultural gap and form trust between locals • Build a prayer a room (for us and locals) • Partner with local churches in mercy ministries (rebuilding the community, feeding the poor, helping the hopeless) • Reviving the local churches in discipleship and sound doctrine • Reach the unreached muslims and disciple people into the knowledge of Jesus • Training and teaching Kenyan believers in discipleship/evangelism. • Build an NGO that will help the community and give us an opportunity to enter into Somalia I desire to see lives radically changed and set free by the power of God and to make Jesus known to all who seek Him. I met Jesus in a Teen Challenge in Minnesota 2 years ago and since then have been set free from a 7 year heroin addiction. Since then I’ve never been the same and my heart burns for people to know Jesus! Missionary Ashton Black DONATE Hello Family and Friends, My name is Ashton black; I am so excited about this next season of my life. In January, I am embarking on an exciting journey with YWAM Mission School (Youth With A Mission). I’ll be gone for 6 months studying in Kona, Hawaii, and other places around the world. I’m joining the Discipleship Training School of YWAM, where I will be learning to study the Bible, teach others, and do kingdom work in God's name. After three months, I will be sent to another country where we will be doing hands-on missionary work and spreading the Gospel for three months. I am very excited about this opportunity to grow in my faith and share God’s love with others. I am asking for your help through prayers and generous financial support. My school will be split into two phases: Lecture and Outreach, I am asked to raise money for multiple necessities. For the first phase of this journey, I will be spending three months learning what God’s calling is for me and what field of work He has in store and also connecting with God on a more personal note. Missionary Matthew Gibson DONATE Hi! My name is Matthew Gibson. In January 2025 I will be going to South Africa to serve as a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). My mission is to disciple young people to be biblically literate ambassadors of God's kingdom in every sphere of today's society. I joined YWAM at the beginning of 2023, and by the end of 2024, I will have spent two years being trained at and sent from their base in Kona, Hawaii. One of the schools I did in Kona was the School of Biblical Studies (SBS), which is a nine month intensive Bible school designed to lead students through an inductive study of all 66 books of the Bible. My time in SBS was the most enriching, transformative, and foundational season of my life as the Word of God became alive to me in a new and powerful way. Following SBS, I had the opportunity to go to South Africa for two months on an outreach. During my time in South Africa, God marked my heart for the people there, and I got to visit YWAM's Fire & Fragrance base in the city of Potchefstroom. This Fire & Fragrance base is pioneering an SBS that will begin in February 2025, and I will have the privilege of being one of the volunteer staff for this school. I am very excited to lead other students through the school that so significantly impacted my own life, and I am expectant for what God wants to do in South Africa and beyond through this SBS. Missionary Christine Wolleat DONATE My name is Christine, and I live in Kassel (Germany) with my husband, Nick. It is our shared passion to see people through God’s eyes and to share the Gospel - the best news in the world - with them. I grew up in a Christian home and had the privilege of getting to know Jesus at a young age. After finishing school, I decided to spend a year in Albert Lea, MN with Youth for Christ. While there, I surrendered my future to God, and He called me to missionary work, which was a challenge for me at the time. To ensure that the seed planted would flourish, I decided to stay in the US for a second year. Afterward, I studied Social Work and Religious Education/ministry in Kassel Germany. A roommate told me about Jumpers Helleböhn, where I began volunteering. I grew to love the children there so much, and by a miraculous donation I am able to work there full-time now. Jumpers-Helleböhn e.V. is a Christian non-profit that has been serving children from infancy to age 16 with free programs since 2011. Our daily activities usually involve arts and crafts, games, sports activities and devotions/Bible-times, which are attended by children many of whom are Muslim, Eastern Orthodox, or have other religious backgrounds. Beyond our group programs, we offer an open drop-in program, a women's breakfast, homework help, and various other projects. Kassel Helleböhn is home to many different nations and cultures. About 80% of the area is social housing. Many families struggle with financial pressure, unstable relationships, or the effects of unhealthy media use. This is where we step in: Our mission is to provide a safe haven where children experience unconditional love, grow in their identity, and develop perspectives for their future. In everything we do, we aim to reflect the love of Christ in words and deeds and through that build a bridge to the Christian faith. Join God's mission in Kassel: Over the last few years I've seen God doing many things to reach the children in Helleböhn. Both the number of children and the depth of the relationships have grown so much that we are starting to outgrow our space. My full-time position was made possible by a few very generous and miraculous one-time donations. This was for the purpose of making my position possible initially. Missionary Mason Brower DONATE Shalom Howdy my guy! Have you ever considered God’s radical heart for the unreached? Because it’s pretty crazy when you think about it. The places where Jesus walked, the Bible says He was moved with compassion, a deep gut desire to see the earth restored back into rightful relationship with the Father. And get this, in His final words to his closest friends Jesus passes the torch to them! A group of young men who were just as broken and flawed as us today. Jesus says “Go… make disciples… baptizing them… and teaching them.” My name is Mason Brower and I have been tasked with that same radical heart of Christ for the Himalayan region. I am currently on staff with FF (Fire and Fragrance) Himalayas, carrying that same commission of Christ not just to our own, but to every tribe and tongue. FF is dedicated to cultivating a culture of zealous and unapologetically gospel driven people prioritizing the presence of God in every action we take. We believe that Jesus didn’t leave us with an unattainable task, but rather the Great commission can and will be fulfilled by those willing to abide in Him and allow Him to abide in them, regardless of age or past or status. AND HERE’S THE BEST PART! This “mission” that I am on is by no means my own. Sure I am working in the Himalayas, but it is the global church that God has set up as his agent of restoration among the nations. God wants to use broken and misshapen people like me and you to build the kingdom of God upon and through. Am I hands-on in the field work? Yes, but you are equally as influential in your giving through prayer. There is no world where I could be doing what I am doing without the body of believers coming beside me both financially and spiritually. So if the Lord is moving in your heart for the unreached in the Himalayan region, or you simply want to see the Great Commission fulfilled as desperately as I do, you should think about becoming a monthly donor. If that’s not in the cards, no sweat, you can easily give a one time donation as well. All of that to say the most important thing you can do is PRAY.
