Hello, my name is Freeman Vander Lugt and for the next two years I will be a full time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Rogaland.

This fall I am staffing my first Discipleship Training School (DTS). Helping run the DTS is my main ministry while in Norway but during the off season, when the Schools are not in session, there is still plenty to do. I will be participating in the local ministry as well as working on base through various types of practical work.

The main reason for what I do is described in the first two YWAM core values “know God and make Him known”. I will continue to strengthen my own personal relationship with the Lord and by doing so be better equipped to disciple others. My goal is to offer the students with a rich experience where they see first hand the body of Christ and find their purpose and identity in our Heavenly Father.

This winter I will co-lead a short term mission to the Middle East! Our team of three staff and five students will bring Gods kingdom and story to the Nations.

I feel so privileged to be able to serve in this way and would love for you to join me in my mission. As a staff member I am expected to raise financial support to cover my living expenses while on base and in the outreach nations.
