MISSIONARY Mikey Sciortino DONATE Hello! My name is Mikey Sciortino, and at the end of August on a one month notice I moved to Huntington Beach, California to become a full time missionary with The Circuit Riders. The Circuit Riders are a branch of a ministry called YWAM (Youth With A Mission), which is a global missions movement across over 180 countries in the world. The Circuit Riders focus specifically on reaching college and high school campuses with the love of Jesus each spring through their Carry The Love tour. Every fall they plan and prepare by creating deep relationships with students on the ground at their universities, developing a family, which is part of their focus as a grassroots movement. They then go out on tour from January to May all across America leading 2-day events where they hold a worship night and evangelism training on every campus. Overall, their heart is this…to meet the need of a lost and desperate generation with the love of Jesus. Where did all of this come to play a role in my life? Well, in 2019 The Circuit Riders came to my campus Western Connecticut where they worked with us (a small 10-person bible study) and held a Carry The Love event where over 200 students showed up. Many people encountered the real love of Jesus, including me. I grew up in the Catholic Church, but I never knew I could have a real relationship with Jesus until college. When I met the Circuit Riders, there was something different about them. And it wasn’t about their ministry or their name, but it was something they carried…an “all in” relentlessness, to see my generation meet Jesus…that summer I attended a 2 week training school run by them called 21 Project in Boston, where everything really changed. Jesus was not a far away, feel good, fantasized God. He was REAL and ALIVE… Now here we are. Just over a year later, I am living in California serving in this ministry. This summer, God opened my eyes to the urgent need for me to drop my plans, my agenda, my desires, and spend a season full time working for Him. So, I left everything I ever knew for the very first time, my comfort, my security, my FAMILY, and I said yes to Jesus. I don’t know how long I’ll be here, but I do know this. That walking in the will of God is the only place I ever want to be. That said, in this season I am unemployed, still taking 9 credits fully online, and constantly traveling. At this time, I am in need of support, both in prayer, encouragement, and finances. I have never done something like this in my life, and it’s scary and uncomfortable for me. But I know this is the lifestyle Jesus is calling me to for a little while, and God is teaching me how to trust Him like never before. Any support in any form would mean everything to me. Thanks! Missionary Luke Andersh DONATE Hi, I am Luke Andersh! I am from Prescott, Arizona and just completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS ) at YWAM Byron Bay in March 2024. Jesus has done so many amazing things in my life and brought me from death to life in so many ways, and I am excited to see what He is going to continue to do in me and through me. I have a calling for young adults ministry long term. It is the age where many people start following Jesus with their own decision as they move out of the house and are getting introduced to living more independently. A lot of young adults fall away from church for a season, so I want to start ministries and places where they are ready to be welcomed back to church, and for those who stay, to have a place where they can continue to increase their fire for Jesus. I will be returning to YWAM Byron Bay for a 2 year staff internship (C4CM) where I will learn how to become a servant leader. I am going to be staffing two DTS schools (Sept 2024 + Feb 2026) over the time and hopefully be able to go through a Discipleship Bible School and a School of Worship that YWAM Byron Bay also has to offer in the in between times. I will also be backbone staff during the in between times when I am not staffing a DTS, which includes kitchen duty, maintenance, social media, etc. I will be staffing this September 2024 DTS coming up and a DTS in February 2026. My responsibilities will be to facilitate the discipleship journey of the students during the 3 month lecture phase. We will do local outreaches in the coastal town of Byron Bay, Australia every week, serving pancakes and chai to the locals and backpackers who are passing through. Byron is a very spiritual place where people from all of the world are together and generally open to the Gospel. Then, I will lead a 2 month international outreach with another leader to take the students to the nations and share the Good News that has transformed their lives and bring the Kingdom to the lost. You can support me and partner with me on this amazing journey! The biggest support is prayer, because I am trusting God as my Provider, and praying for what I will be doing and for provision are the biggest things. God called me to go back to staff, and He asked me that I would trust Him in ways I have never before, so this is me trusting Him and walking in simple obedience and walking by faith, not sight. I just finished paying off my DTS fees recently, so I am in need of financial support! I’ve known since I was young that I wanted to live my life for Christ. Four years ago the Lord led me to Youth With A Mission, and my eyes were opened to the need in the world around me. I knew at that time I was made to be a missionary. After doing several training schools with YWAM, the Lord led me to Circuit Riders. Missionary David Lavrinovich DONATE My heart for media is not that it would just touch a screen — it's that through the power of storytelling, we could inspire our generation to unlock the power of their testimony. Storytelling has been neglected by the church. But here's the thing: God is a storyteller. He wrote the Bible. He tells stories. And every one of our lives is a story of how we came to know Him and what He's actively doing right now. There's a gap though. And that gap is the stronghold of fear and insignificance. Most Christians are trained more by fear than they are inspired by God to share what He's done in their lives. I've spent 6 years in Christian media, and the last 6 months training specifically in missions content with Circuit Riders. I now create content for multiple movements including THE SEND. In the Philippines, 1,603 people gathered and 1,206 gave their lives to Jesus. We started an Instagram account to tell that story — in 2 months we reached 513,000 people and 1.3 million views. No ad spend. Just story. The DMs don't stop — people writing in saying they're inspired to see God move in their city, their school, their life, because they saw what was possible. So much of what God does goes untold — buried under fear of judgment or written off as insignificant. This role exists to change that. To travel, to be present, to capture what God is doing and tell it in a way that moves people to action. By partnering with me financially, you're not just funding social media content. I am passionate about telling others about Jesus and learning more about how beautiful His everlasting love is. SO, I feel called by the Lord to spread the gospel through YWAM Kona! YWAM is a global movement of Christians dedicated to knowing God and making Him known. The school is split into two phases- Discipleship Training School (DTS) and outreach. They offer several opportunities for youth and adults to engage in various outreach and training programs. The total cost of both phases is $10,000. For my YWAM experience, I will be joining the Fire and Fragrance Youth Movement. In this school, we want to be sold out and fully surrender to Jesus.
