My name is Jessica and I live in the Middle East! Here I am currently immersing myself in the culture, language learning, discipling young people, mobilizing field-workers through prayer rooms, and sharing the good news wherever the Lord sends me. The 10/40 window is the most unreached, unevangelized region that stretches from North Africa, throughout the Middle East, and all the way through Asia. Many people in this region have had little to no access to the gospel, still have not had the bible translated in their language/dialect, and often do not have a believer or church in their area. MISSIONARY Baxter White DONATE Hey! I’m Baxter White, a full-time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Brisbane in Australia! I serve as a staff member in the February Beach 2 Bush DTS (Discipleship Training School) where I get to disciple other young people eager to know God more. I also get to serve logistically on base in the kitchen and in other evangelistic and outreach opportunities in the city of Brisbane and in towns around our state. I am passionate about following Jesus and whatever God is leading me to do. During my DTS in 2019, I felt peace from God that He has called me to work in full-time ministry. So, I said yes, and I committed to saying yes to whatever God leads me to do. Right now, that is to be on staff with YWAM Brisbane where I am able to serve and do things, I am passionate about as well as receive excellent training and encouragement in leadership. God has given me a heart for young people and for serving. Through YWAM, I get to help young people come to know God in deeper ways than they ever have and share that experience with others through ministry opportunities. I also get to serve people, serve people that are close to me and who know God as well as serve people who I don’t know and may or may not know God. I’ve built relationships with people I never would have had a relationship with otherwise and shared the Gospel with amazing people! Missionary Bryce Gaut DONATE Hi! My name is Bryce Gaut. Last September I left my home in San Diego, CA on an awesome journey to Australia to go to a mission organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I stayed there for eight months and was able to complete two YWAM schools - the Discipleship Training School and the Discipleship Bible School. I learned so much in those schools, like how to actually go out in the streets and evangelize and also how evangelism is more than just going out and sharing the Gospel with others—it’s a lifestyle. We have the opportunity every day to evangelize to show others who Jesus is by the way we live, speak. and act. My biggest takeaways from those schools was learning to love God so much more and learning to actually listen and have open ears to what God is saying in all areas of my life. For two-and-a-half of those eight months, I had the chance to go on outreach with ten other students! Our team traveled to Vietnam, where we served in local churches, shared our testimonies of how we came to love Jesus, played soccer with the college students, and had the opportunity to really get to know them and share the Gospel with them. Now that I am back in the United States, God has put it on my heart to go back to Australia and serve at the YWAM base through their two-year Staffing Internship. YWAM Gold Coast has a dream of growing and being able to have more students attend their schools each year. But they can’t do that unless they have more staff members who are willing to serve and invest in those students. I have prayed long and hard about this decision, and I am ready to commit the next two years of my life serving the Lord by serving the YWAM Gold Coast base. My desire is to help YWAM reach more young people while mentoring and encouraging students in their faith journeys of following Jesus. In order for this opportunity to become a reality, I need to raise $800 per month to help cover my housing, food, ministry expenses, and outreach costs so that I can help lead outreach teams and continue serving wherever God calls me. Missionary Ian Kinyon DONATE My name is Ian Kinyon, and I am a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). During my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM, I had the opportunity to serve in both Palau and the Tohoku region as part of my outreach. In Palau, I experienced the love of the Father like never before, and in Tohoku, Japan, I witnessed firsthand how God is moving in Japan. These experiences deepened my passion for Japan and my desire to see a great revival in the nation. The Lord has placed a calling on my life to serve in Japan for the long term, where I will join YWAM staff and step into sports-related ministries. I have a heart to see young Japanese people encounter Jesus and spread His love through meaningful relationships and community. My ministry is centered on discipleship and outreach through sports and other ministries. In Japan, sports create natural spaces for connection, mentorship, and intentionality, especially with young people.
