MISSIONARY Maggie Riddle DONATE Hello! I’m Maggie Riddle, a strong lover of Jesus and full-time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. I started following the Lord about a year ago and have truly learned what it means to be born again–the old Maggie no longer lives but it is Christ that lives in me! I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) through YWAM in Kona in April 2021. This time was a catalyst for my transformation in the Lord, both inwardly and for how he wants to use me. For my outreach portion of DTS I went to Turkey. And man let me tell you… my whole outlook on life changed. He broke my heart for those who don’t know him. I’ve surrendered my whole life to the Lord so that he can use me to reach those who don’t know Him. After my DTS I knew the Lord was calling me back to Kona. I left all my family and friends after a week of being home in Kansas and moved my whole life to Hawaii. The Lord has called me here to both serve long-term missionary families here on the YWAM base and at a local Urgent Care to fulfill my passion with helping the sick. The Lord didn’t give me a timeline of how long but until he tells me otherwise, I will call Kona my home! I am so excited to start this new journey the Lord has called me on and can’t wait for what he has in store for my future. Missionary Esther Villalobos DONATE Hi, my name is Esther Villalobos and I'm getting ready to go to Nashville with Prayer house Ministries. In the next few months, I will join Prayer House Ministry as a staff member. I had the amazing opportunity to be a missionary with this ministry this past summer. I was so amazed by how much I saw God move and impact so many people. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to continue running with such an anointed group of people. Missionary Morgen Layton DONATE Hello, My name is Morgen Layton. I serve with YWAM North Cascades in Lynden, Wa, facilitating Bible training courses for the next generation of Kingdom workers and ministering to the under-served communities in Bellingham Wa, through TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages). I’m excited to use these tools to help bring people to Jesus locally and overseas when I get to serve Globally as well. I am passionate about seeing people transformed by the love of Jesus and the power of His word. I was born and raised in the U.S., but my desire to serve alongside and in other nations has been influenced by my deep love for language. At a young age, I was exposed to the Spanish language, and that was only the beginning. My first four years of language learning in high school extended into my college years and I found myself signing up for a unique study-abroad experience. While attending a language school in Xela, Guatemala, and completing an internship in Managua, Nicaragua, I found myself deeply moved by the people and culture. In addition to these destinations, I have done missions in Mexico, Chile, Columbia, Peru, and Brazil! Truly, there is something so remarkable about being unified in Christ; suddenly the cultural, lingual, and national barriers dissolve. This does not mean our differences cease to exist—rather the focus changes from “us” and “them” to Jesus. There is immense joy that comes with seeing someone be touched by the Word of God, but it is equally impactful to simply recognize the collision of lives the world would like to keep separate. The beauty that is created when we learn to work together is inexplicable, and more so when our cultures unite, and we worship YHWH. As I serve at YWAM North Cascades and fulfill the Great Commission here, I know going international will come. My main roles at YWAM North Cascades include discipleship through the Bible and teaching English. Thank you for partnering with me. Being a missionary requires the church, the whole body of Christ.
