Missionary Minou Andrianjaka Nahary DONATE My name is Andrianjaka Nahary Minou, and I am 33 years old from Madagascar. I grew up in a humble family and experienced many hardships during my childhood. Together with my seven siblings, we faced difficult circumstances and often lacked many of the things we needed. As I look back on my life, I can see how God has been guiding me and shaping my heart. Through my own experiences, I have developed a deep compassion for children who are growing up in poverty and difficult situations, just as I did. I believe God is calling me to serve as a missionary and to bring hope, encouragement, and practical support to children and families in need. To prepare for this calling, I am currently attending the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Muizenberg, South Africa. Through DTS, I am growing in my relationship with God, learning more about His purpose for my life, and being equipped to serve others effectively. I felt a tug from my first love... .I have been a Christian for over 40 years, serving in volunteer positions of youth leader, marriage mentor, janitor, incarceration mentor, and also elder. All the while never thinking that being a pastor would be a calling I ever answered, as I constantly ran or ignored the still small voice that beckoned. On April 9th, 2024, I heard and finally answered the calling…I joined City Reach Church, my home church in the ATX region, as a Pastor! I retired from corporate America to serve a hurting world that needs more love and acceptance than ever before, a LOVE only Jesus can provide. Missionary Isabelle Jones DONATE Hi friends and Family! I am so happy to inform you all that I will be spending the next chapter of my life in Urbino, Italy, serving God. Urbino is a walled city in the northern central part of Italy. It was built in the 15th century and is home to around 15,000 people, with a majority of those being university students. Unfortunately Urbino has no Protestant churches or places for the students in the university to share and learn with others about God. The Catholic church is the most present in the city, but it doesn't give youth a chance to fully see what life with God is like or the resources to do that. The mission is to turn a restaurant that is located in the heart of the city into a cafe where students can relax, have fun, and learn about God. I will be there with the Dalton family, who have been serving in Italy for ten years. They have worked with YWAM students in Trentino and have done work in Geneva. They are now being called to Urbino. The cafe will serve coffee drinks and pastries, along with American dishes and family meals that will be served during certain times and for low prices to bring in the student presence. As many of you know, I love cooking and baking, and it has been a passion of mine for a while, so when this opportunity came up, I was very excited. The Daltons have been forming a team of students and adults from all over the world. Jobs have not been assigned, but I will most likely be serving in the kitchen, cooking and baking, as well as helping build a christian community with nights of worship, bible studies and helping facilitate community gatherings. I will be leaving early June -July to help start up the cafe and get training, as well as moving in and getting my visa. I am dedicated to spending a year in Urbino, so I would greatly appreciate any support, whether that be prayer or helping me fundraise. Missionary Everett Kerr DONATE Hey! My name is Everett Kerr I’m 18 years old and I want to help spread the Gospel and the Love of God with every tribe, tongue, and nation! I first started working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 2021 as a Mission Builder, I fell in love with the work and volunteered at the University of the Nations Campus in Kona Hawaii for just under a year. I started by working construction, building Dorm rooms and classrooms, mainly working on finishing the buildings doing drywall and tile work. After doing that for 9 months I was asked to Lead the Landscaping Team and got to manage a team of 4 Kokua Crew during the days and a DTS Work Duty team of 20 that would work in the afternoons. In January of 2022, I did a Discipleship Training School (DTS) at YWAM Kona, and went on outreach to the USA, mainly in Northern California but we also road-tripped across the states to Kansas City. After my DTS, I joined staff with YWAM Kona Kokua Crew and was put in charge of the Landscaping team again. I managed the Landscaping team for 9 Months and then got an opportunity to Staff at YWAM Montana and Lead an outreach to Mazatlan and Durango Mexico! Now I am returning to Kona to staff a 6 month DTS in January. I will be doing a Leadership Track for 3 months leading up to Staffing DTS, and then I will mentor students and lead an outreach team to the Nations! My vision is that all Nations, tribes, and tongues would get to hear the Good News of Jesus and the Gospel. While I was leading a team to Mexico my eyes got opened to how so many people don’t have Bibles and have never heard about Jesus. I will need to fundraise $1500 monthly support for the next 6 months. That will cover my training with YWAM, room and board, and the funds needed to lead a team to the Nations for 3 months! Missionary Ray and Dori Pieratt DONATE We are Ray and Dori Pieratt. I (Ray) have been in YWAM for 20+ years. I have invested most of that time in Biblical Studies and teaching others the Bible. Our schools provide a Biblical foundation for students to go into the mission field or any sphere of life they are called to. The Bible is transformational in the lives of students. We see students regularly blown away by the revelation of God they receive while studying His word. I help organize, staff, and lead schools as well as teach in other locations around the world. Over the past handful of years, I have worked with refugees as well. Dori is currently focused on raising our sons but has a heart to serve youth and mothers. YWAM is a 100% volunteer organization, which means no one is paid by the organization. It is a challenge but also a blessing to live by faith and invite others to join in with what God is doing around the world. Missionary Jordan Self DONATE Hi everyone! 안녕하세요! My name is Jordan Self, and I am currently serving as an independent missionary in South Korea. In February 2023, I made a life-changing decision to respond to God’s call on my life. I felt a strong pull to the nation of Korea, and for nine months I prayed and interceded for a people group halfway across the world from my home. With no job, no connections, only three months of resources, and much prayerful consideration, I took a step of faith alongside a friend and moved to the country that God was clearly calling me toward. Those three months of resources turned into a year and seven months of blessings beyond what I could have imagined. I connected with a local Korean church community that fully welcomed us and affirmed God’s call on our lives. We were able to intercede for the nation with the people, help build up their international ministry, and learn more about Korean culture and God’s plans for the church and the surrounding people group. We even had the opportunity to join a mission trip to Japan, extending our outreach to neighboring nations. During this time, the church created a teaching position for me at a Christian academy, allowing me to minister to the next generation. I teach English through worship lyrics, Bible verses, and other creative methods, seeking to shape both hearts and minds in Christ. This is just the beginning of God’s work on the Korean Peninsula. I am honored to serve as a pioneer in this nation. God is doing incredible things here, and I hope to continue being a part of it! Because I am still in the early stages of building this ministry and am not under a specific mission organization, I rely heavily on the prayers and support of those whose hearts are stirred by what God is doing in this nation. Missionary Jessi West DONATE Hello, my name is Jessi West. I started attending Rock Bible church in Pleasanton, CA in 2017. Here, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Real Life Ministries in the Ensenada area of Mexico. Twice a year I join a group of fellow volunteers, organized by my church, and we head down to Mexico and build a home from start to finish, for a family in need. We do outreach with a vacation Bible school for children in the area. We play games, do Bible stories, crafts and prizes for the children memorizing the Bible verses. RLM not only builds homes for those who are in need but they also work closely with a women and children’s shelter. And this last trip our church was introduced to an orphanage in the area. I’m looking forward to visiting and spending time with the children in my future trips. I’m excited to be joining our next group in June because this will be my 10th trip and each one gets better and better! We spend time around the campfire after each day and individually share where we are currently with God. Good or bad, we get to see others in their walk with our Lord. It is humbling but also refreshing for the soul. During our time there, we get to work closely with our youth and teach them skills and they get to witness the power of Jesus. Prayers are always welcomed and needed! Not only for a successful trip but for a safe one. Prayers are needed for the families we build for. May they have a home filled with Jesus, love and a new future. A future filled with happiness, positivity and ease. Any financial support is greatly appreciated!
