MISSIONARY Cheyenne Smith DONATE Hey there! My name is Cheyenne Smith and I’m a full-time missionary with YWAM Oita, Japan! Here in Oita, our focus is to show and share the true love of Christ and the Gospel through different types of ministries. YWAM Oita is still considered a new base, so a lot of pioneering, building friendships and trust with the locals, as well as being heavily involved with the community and churches are just a few things we do to show our love, and Christ’s love, to the people in Japan. There are many different types of ministries I will personally be involved with as a staff member here. A few opportunities that speak directly to my heart are teaching conversational English, one on one counsel (encouragement) and love to young women who struggle to see their self-worth and beauty, music, art, and volunteering in a cafe, creating lifelong friendships and having the honor to share my testimony and Christ’s love with those I encounter. Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve felt called to the mission field, but in September 2024, that calling became reality when I went to Discipleship Training School with Circuit Riders. I am Jackson George, I am from Woodbury, Minnesota in the United States, now serving as a staff member with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland. This past year I have been involved with YWAM as a student. I had the opportunity to do a DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Norway, an outreach to Jordan, and be a student in the Bible Core Course on Location, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is my first year serving with Youth with a Mission as a staff member, and I will be serving specifically with the BCC (Bible Core Course On Location) for the rest of 2023. This past year, I have developed a passion to know God and make Him known, especially through His Word. The Bible tells us who our God is, how He loves us, it tells us who we are, and it tells us how to treat other people. This is our goal with the BCC, we desire to see transformation through Biblical grounding and we want to encounter God in His Word. We want to see the Bible as the living word, so we go and study the Bible where it was written in the lands of Greece, Egypt, Israel, Turkey and Italy. We desire that this will be a time where students gain tools to study the Bible for the rest of their lives. As well as transforming the culture, societies and nations they are a part of by applying the truth they learn in the Bible. This is not a journey I can do alone. Missionary Joe Bogun DONATE Hey there! My name is Joe Bogun, and I’m a full-time missionary with Circuit Riders — a missions and evangelism movement based in Huntington Beach, California. Whether it’s worship nights, one-on-one conversations, open-air preaching, or practical acts of love — young people are encountering Jesus and being radically changed. Missionary Jesse Bowman DONATE Hiya! My name is Jesse Bowman and I'm a full time missionary on staff with the EveryHeart Movement. EveryHeart is a YWAM mission movement in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Filled by people with a reckless abandon to Jesus, we are passionate about reaching campuses, nations, and cities with a dedication to seeing every heart met and sent by His love. Missionary Joshua Miller DONATE Hey there, my name is Joshua Miller and I am from Indianapolis Indiana. I am a born-again believer that just one decade ago was a member of a gang in my home town. I have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, but feel I owe it to all of you to share what God has delivered me from. Not only am I set free from that bondage that once enslaved me, but along with that freedom I also now carry the history of a testimony that has been Gods greatest tool on the mission field in my life. I was delivered from addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex, and even experimentation with witchcraft. Reading this here might shock you. I know it would if I was the reader. But for the last decade I have been sitting with Jesus and He has been washing my past sins away in order to give me new robes. Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ, I adore my heavenly Father. So far, I have graduated from 6 intensive Christian university courses over 10 years. Fire in the Night 1st and 2nd course, YWAM DTS Grandview MO, YWAM DTS and outreach KONA-South Africa, Stewardship and Sustainability, and Apostello. Each step was God led, and so necessary. You see, I needed to be restored in very broken places so that when I go out to serve, I will do so from a strong foundation built with a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father, Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ our savior. I am tremendously excited to say that I met a very special group of Christian leaders at the YWAM base of operations in Potchefstroom South Africa. They are so connected with their surrounding community and have an agricultural ministry that intends to teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced farming methods in tandem with spreading the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. In the mission meetings that I have attended so far, some blueprints have come together, and land has been allocated to the Staff of the agricultural ministry from YWAM Potchefstroom. There are 5 farm locations that I know of since my last update. Each farm hopes to have a market, live Christian music, and Jesus centered study. Several other groups around the nation are wanting to multiply this ministry, because of its community outreach structure! That's where I will be serving!
