Missionary Mintchi Metohou Toussaint DONATE We are Toussaint and Jokébèd Mintchi, full-time missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), based in Noépé, Togo, with our daughter Kabodiel. Originally from Benin, we serve God as a family, convinced that the missionary call is also lived out in marriage, parenthood, and daily faithfulness. Before joining the mission, we had stable professional activities. Toussaint, trained as an electro-technician, worked in a power plant at a sugar factory. At the same time, we had developed a service center (data entry, printing, photocopying, IT maintenance, and secretarial work), managed by Jokébèd, a trained secretary. These activities allowed us to live independently. After a long season of prayer, inner struggle, and discernment, God led us to a radical decision. In 2024, we relinquished all job security to fully answer His call by joining the Discipleship Training School (DTS) of Youth With A Mission. On a human level, this choice cost us everything. Spiritually, it placed us at the heart of God's will. When we first arrived at EFD, we didn't have the full registration fees. Yet, God confirmed His calling by gradually providing for all our tuition. The training, both theoretical and practical, was profoundly transformative. Our marriage went through an intense season of purification marked by tensions, spiritual attacks, and relationship challenges. We learned that victory lies in obedience. God led us through times of profound deliverance and clearly called us to stay so that we could be fully equipped. Following our EFD (Educational Training Day), we committed ourselves as missionary staff starting in September 2024. We serve in discipleship, spiritual guidance, prayer, healing and deliverance, as well as in accompanying children, families, widows, the elderly, and the poor. In parallel, we offer our technical skills to the community, particularly in electricity, maintenance, plumbing, and infrastructure upkeep, considering manual labor as a ministry in its own right. On a personal level, our journey has been marked by several miscarriages without conclusive medical diagnoses. By the sovereign grace of God, Jokébèd gave birth to a perfectly healthy daughter, a living testament to His faithfulness. Recently, under the leadership of YWAM Noépé, we were entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in April 2026, while continuing our commitment to the DTS in September 2025. We also have a long-term vision called Compassion Vision, focused on children, widows, orphans, and impoverished families. A mission is being planned for 2026 in Benin, in the village of Adoukandji, with the focus on discipleship, mutual aid, and sponsorship. MISSIONARY Antonio Jacquet DONATE Hi, I am Antonio Jacquet, married to Natsuko Kudo! I am a full-time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Tokyo Japan. I work with DTS (Disciple Training School) by training new missionaries to share the gospel focusing on making disciples, and taking them on outreach to Asian countries among the Unreached People Groups. At the same time, we are supporting and training the local churches. I am also pastoring a bilingual Spanish/Japanese Church in Tokyo. I moved from Paraguay and have been living in Japan since 2013. The day I left my country, I knew I would never be back to live in Paraguay because God gave me a long-term missionary calling. I love living by faith, by listening to God’s voice and following Him, no matter what cost. I never allow money to tell me what I should do or not to do. Missionary Michael Tashjian DONATE My name is Michael Tashjian I am a full time missionary with YWAM Kona. I am a new staff member in the 2022 Fire and Fragrance discipleship training school. My heart longs for people to encounter Jesus. When I was sixteen-years-old, I began to have an interest in going to the nations. Since then, I have been deeply impacted by God's heart for the lost. For the first three months, I’ll be in the lecture phase—where I’ll be surrounded by passionate leaders and students from around the world, all hungry to grow deeper in their walk with Jesus. My personal track and focus will be WORSHIP—which is such a huge part of my heart and calling. I’ll be trained specifically in leading worship, cultivating a heart of purity and humility on and off the stage, and learning how to use music and creativity to carry the presence of God into every space. This means hands-on time in songwriting, spontaneous worship, team dynamics, and even how to lead others into deep encounters with Jesus through music. After the lecture phase, I’ll be going on outreach across the U.S. (and maybe even internationally!) I’ll step into a 3-month outreach phase—traveling with a team to high schools, universities, churches, and public spaces to share the love of Jesus, lead worship, preach the Gospel, and see lives transformed. It’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus in a generation that’s hungry for hope and truth. MISSIONARY Viviana Suarez DONATE I was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1982. After finishing my university studies, a time in which I came to know Jesus, I worked in a very well-known bank for five years. After serving in my church and the community for almost a decade in everything from children’s ministry, to working with youth and local missions projects God called me to do my first short term missions trip to Iraq. This experience not only confirmed the call that God was giving me to missions, but also the timing and destination – Puebla, Mexico Since 2014 I have been working in a humanitarian ministry through which many people have arrived at the feet of Christ. We serve the community through: – teaching the Word to local indigenous groups – coordinating social action projects for poor communities – discipleship – coordinating a rehabilitation center for people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction – fundraising for ministry projects In addition to these areas, in 2015 I completed my degree in Biblical Theology from the University of Indiana and I continue to receive more training wherever possible in order to become a better servant in His Kingdom. I began this journey when I was 18 years old, and now, at the age of 40, I can look back with gratitude at God’s faithfulness throughout every season of ministry. In 2010, after joining Youth With A Mission (YWAM), I met my wife, Nathalia, during missionary training. Since then, we have dedicated our lives to serving the Lord together. Today, with our two children, Pedro and Mariana, we continue to serve as a missionary family, believing that lasting transformation happens when the Gospel of kingdom reaches people, families, and communities. Our calling is centered on raising leaders and strengthening missionary movements that will impact Brazil and the nations. I serve as the leader of the YWAM Almirante Tamandaré campus near Curitiba, where more than 1,500 students are trained every year through missionary schools, leadership development, and the University of the Nations. Every week, our teams also serve more than 150 children from vulnerable communities surrounding our campus through education programs, ballet, sports, soccer, circus arts, mentoring, and home discipleship. Beyond our local ministry, I help mentor and provide oversight for new YWAM pioneering initiatives in the Brazilian Amazon, Japan, northeastern Brazil, southern Brazil, and Philadelphia in the United States. I also teach with the University of the Nations and have spent more than a decade serving alongside missionaries working among river people communities in the Amazon. At the heart of everything we do is a profound vision: to see Brazil transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We long to see a nation marked by justice, integrity, and hope. A nation where violence, corruption, poverty, and brokenness give way to the values of God’s Kingdom. MISSIONARY Rosa Wilcox DONATE We are missionaries called to Japan. We are currently part of a small team planting a new YWAM base in Sendai which is in the north of the Honshu Island. Sendai has a growing population and is the largest city of the Tohoku region. It is said that Japan is at least 1% Christian and that the Tohoku region is the least reached area in regards to the Gospel. Despite all of that we believe that this is chaining! Our hope and passion is to use the arts, music and media to share the Gospel in Japan and see the nation transformed. With such a small amount of believers and churches in Japan we also are aiming to network with churches, missionaries and other organizations etc. to see the body of Christ come together in unity.
