Missionary Max and Sophie Hoyt DONATE Max and Sophie Hoyt are from Minneapolis, MN and felt a call from the Lord in 2022 to begin a life of Ministry. Pastor Terrance Reeves Chong of Freedom Church took a chance and gave Max the opportunity to preach once a week and made Sophie one of the Head Leaders of the Young Adults Wednesday service . The Holy Spirit moved in many mighty ways during the two years that Max and Sophie led those meetings. In Sept. 2024, Max and Sophie joined YWAM Ministries for a 6 month mission to see the lost, saved, the sick, healed, and the demon possessed, delivered. They Spent time overseas in Albania seeing men and women alike come to Jesus. Since 2023, the Lord has placed a vision in the hearts of Sophie and Max to build an evangelistic Ministry called Coast to Coast Ministries which can currently be found on YouTube & Instagram. They are currently traveling the world equipping believers on how to share the gospel in their everyday lives and hosting soul winning crusades across the nations. We serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and for the last 7 years we've had the honor of serving in Tijuana, Mexico, primarily through discipleship and training young people to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Through staffing and leading Discipleship Training Schools (DTS), we walked with students from many nations, helping them grow in intimacy with God, discover their identity, and step into a lifestyle of mission—both locally and on international outreach. We also experienced the joy of pioneering a Creative Arts & Media elective, using creativity, film, and storytelling as tools to declare the Gospel and communicate what God is doing. MISSIONARY Shannon Jones DONATE Since 2015 I have been on staff with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Brisbane, Australia. YWAM is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. When YWAM began in 1960, the main focus was to get youth involved in missions, and although the organization now involves people aged 9 to 90, we still feel called to specifically target discipleship and leadership development in young adults. YWAM Brisbane has cultivated a strong reputation for its ability to produce strong Godly leaders and the Basic Leadership School plays a vital role in achieving those outcomes. I work with a team to implement training for budding leaders to learn how to partner with God in leadership as they each walk more fully in their God-given identity and influence groups of people both in Australia and around the world. My role includes mentoring, training, assessment, and exhortation both in and out of the classroom. God has called me to empower His children to recognize and actively pursue their specific gifts and callings. To bring hope to the downtrodden; those who were told they aren’t good enough or can’t amount to anything. To let God’s love transform the way people think and to ignite boldness in individuals to become influential, Godly leaders. Throughout the Bible God calls his children to take up positions as occupational missionaries; He not only calls his children to become full-time missionaries but He also calls His children to partner with those missionaries by supporting in prayer and finance. It’s God’s joy to use relationship to bring forth His Kingdom. That’s why we tithe to the church and that’s why we give to missions. As a missionary I don’t receive any income from YWAM, as our organization has felt specifically directed from the Lord that each individual’s ‘wages’ for our ministry would come through the financial support of individuals and churches.
