I am part of an organization called Fire and Fragrance South Africa here in a small town in the North West province called Potchefstroom. I have a really big heart for women's ministry and want to run in it full-time. My heart got moved in my DTS for women and the heart the Lord has for women. How that look like, is we have a few ministries running that focus on women's discipleship. One is where we go to a rehab centre and minister to women, and the other one is where we go spend time and minister to vulnerable women on the street. This year the Lord started speaking to me about taking this Job serious and actually invest in what the Lord is actually speaking to me and desires for me. MISSIONARY Eli Shirk DONATE Hey! My name is Eli and I’m a missionary with YWAM Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach, California. Our purpose as Circuit Riders is to carry the love of Jesus to university and high school campuses across America and creatively catalyze the schools and their regions into salvation, awakening, and multiplication. The heart of the Circuit Riders is to save the lost, revive the saved and train them all. God gripped my life when I was 15 and spoke worship creative over my life. Since then, I have been moving into that calling over my life; leading worship, working AVL, doing productions for churches, and learning the heart of Christ every day. After, I graduated in 2020 I moved into missions with YWAM planning to go to YWAM Toowoomba, Australia. But God had different plans with COVID, and after 9 months waiting and God showing me more of the Holy Spirit and His nature, I started the Circuit Riders Experience! God has revealed so much of His heart to me during CRX and a true revelation of His love for who I am. I am moved by His heart for the generations of people still to walk this Earth and especially His heart for Gen Z. Working with CR we are passionate about reaching these people and showing them Christ and the gospel. Missionary Katie Rogers DONATE Hey y'all! This is Katie Rogers and I am a full time missionary with Fire and Fragrance Nashville, a branch ministry of YWAM - Youth With A Mission. This past January, I went to Huntington Beach California to be trained by the Circuit Riders in a 5 month Discipleship Training School. I spent three months in California and two months in the Philippines. I saw God move so powerfully in my life and in people around me. Hundreds of people were saved and set free as they came to experience the unconditional love of Jesus. During my time in the Philippines, God gave me His heart for Nashville, and I became gripped by the reality that the Gospel needs to be spread there. I realized that people in my own backyard need Jesus just as much as other nations do, and I am excited to step into that calling and see how the Lord transforms Nashville for His glory. Fire and Fragrance shares this heart for Nashville, and exists to equip our generation with the message and proclamation of Jesus Christ. F & F Nashville is a new base created to train and send out missionaries to America and the nations. Practically, this looks like evangelism and volunteerism within our local community, running youth camps and DTS, hosting public worship nights and prayer rooms, and coming alongside other organizations to advance the kingdom in Nashville! I am looking forward to coming under the vision of F & F and partnering with them to pioneer this new missions community. We believe that Nashville will be the next city of revival, where the lost will be saved, healed, and sent out. We want to see this generation burn for Jesus! Missionary Cade Criddle DONATE Hey Yall, it’s Cade! After years of deliberation, and the Lord confirming it over and over again, I’m finally taking a real step into obedience. Soon after the first time I really encountered the Lord, I met a missionary, and she said “you are called to the nations.” She didn’t have to tell me; I knew what I had experienced was for the whole world. Later I was at a ministry event and 5 different people came up to me said “ you’re called to the nations” again, I already knew. This happened over and over while I grew such a passion for people and the nations as a whole. I met many more missionaries got more prophetic words, more specific and directional. I took small steps with short term trips here and there, but nothing that required too much faith or obedience. An opportunity arose to step into a real ministry position and I thought, maybe this is it? The Lord said “No, I want you to go to YWAM.” And I didn’t understand, but said okay. I had visited the base a few years prior and had an application submitted, with no real intention to go. But when I visited for the 30 minutes to an hour I was there, I knew. It felt like home. It felt as if I should have known my way around, like I had been there 1000 times. But, I fought it, said it wasn’t logical and moved on. As arrival day approached, the reality of what I was committing to began to set in. It wasn’t till I bought my ticket a few weeks before that I was sure I was going to go. I’m currently at YWAM Kona with the Fire and Fragrance, Least Reached school. My school focuses on the least reached people groups in the world- Primarily in the 10/40 region of the world. People need the gospel, the real actionable, authentic gospel that is the message of life in Jesus. On this trip, that might mean going even deeper into a region that already is so unreached in mountainous Asia and (I’m hoping it will) trekking to remote villages that have no access to the gospel, or much of the outside world. If you want to partner in my going it would be so appreciated. There’s about $5000-$6000 that is needed for the 3 months over seas. Missionary Carla Foord DONATE Hi everyone My name is Carla and I am 24 years old. I am currently in Potchefstroom and serving full time at Fire and Fragrance. I did my discipleship training school this year and the Lord marked my heart for missions. He called me to be a minister to His people and to partner with Him to set captives free from chains that have been holding them back from stepping into who and what God has made them to be. I said yes to His invitation and felt called to join a ministry called Woven.This specific ministry, which falls under mercy ministries, has three phases namely, Evangelism, Discipling, and Training/Equipping (in order to get them off the street). In this ministry, our team is dedicated to help women break free from the cycle of prostitution, and provide them with the support they need to rebuild their lives. We’re currently working with four women, who we have assisted to get off of the streets. This ministry was pioneered last year and we are still in the beginning stages of developing a product line. The women were taught how to sew scrunchies and it has been incredible to witness how they have grown in their sewing skills as well as in their identity as daughters of God. All of the products we sell are handmade by them, with the goal of providing a way to earn a dignified income. This ministry also goes out every week to the same corner in town where women usually go to work at night. We share the gospel with them and the love of Christ. We have developed sweet friendships with the women and have seen many of them accepting Jesus in their hearts. During the week we have bible studies with the women in prostitution as well as a men’s bible study. We spend time in the Word and build relationship with them. Our goal with the weekly bible study is to create a space where they can encounter the love of God and be transformed in their hearts and minds to get a better understanding of who God is and who He has created them to be. We also give out bibles to those who are in need. Although this has been a hard decision to make, I really feel like this is where God is leading me. It is such an honor to say yes because I know that He is a good shepherd and He leads me to green pastures. Missionary Paetyn Allen DONATE My name is Paetyn Allen. I’m a full-time missionary with YWAM. My heart is to see the next generation walk in their God-given identity and freedom in Christ. This would inspire them to fully surrender their lives to Jesus and share His love with others. My goal is to help create a Biblical foundation in people’s lives for a life-time discipleship with Jesus. When I did my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), it was then that God broke my heart for those that don’t have a relationship with Him. I was radically changed and impacted by the Gospel with a new perspective and a heart for the lost. There’s about 3.3 billion people around the world who’ve never heard of the Gospel! 3.3 billion people who have never had an opportunity to have a relationship with God. During my Bible School in 2022, God shared with me His heart for Japan. This is a country of rich history and beautiful culture that represents honor and excellency to a high degree but has no idea they were created for a greater purpose. This is a people group that is bound to conformity and lack of identity, but that’s not the story that God has for them. I’ve seen Japanese people light up with joy of the Lord, step out in boldness and hold a deep reverence to Jesus. I desire to see Japan reached and revived with the Gospel of Jesus. I will be working with YWAM Japan to pioneer an English ministry and participate in various other ministries throughout Osaka. The desire is to create Kingdom centered classrooms that allow room for the Lord’s grace and love to be displayed. As well as to encourage fellow believers to step out in their faith and witness the Lord move in Japan. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age…” Mathew 28:19-20 As Christians, we have a role to PRAY, GIVE and GO (Intercession, Tithing and Teaching). As for me, God has called me to GO but I need people to partner with me to fulfill this calling. Missionary Eliza Klaski DONATE Hey! My name is Eliza Klaski, I am 20 years old and I am currently living overseas as a worker in Türkiye! I am part of a team here that is living and becoming a part of the community in which we have relocated and planted roots. The nation I am living in is what is known as a closed nation, meaning that it is not open to the good news. For that reason what I am writing here may sound vague, but I will do my best to explain it to you. In 2021, I visited Türkiye and absolutely fell in love with it. The people stole my heart and I longed to return for the next two years. Relationships, community, and family are all so important here, and those are things that I love. I have always found it easier to connect with people as their friend and confidant than as a stranger. This all goes hand in hand so well, and that is what the focus of my time here is. For my first two years my biggest focus is learning the language with the goal of fluency and communication in order to be able to reach and connect with more people. The Lord has so much in store for this nation and this people, and I know that this is where I am supposed to be. I am beyond excited to be able to be a part of the way He is moving in this city and in this nation.
