MISSIONARY Abigail Geist DONATE Why Japan: The beautiful land of Japan is one of the most modern, inventive, and creative cultures to ever exist. It is also one of the nations with the lowest amount of Christianity. Only 1% of the Japanese population knows God as their loving and personal Father. While, historically, Japan used to have a high Christian population, anger at the foreign influences and western colonization led to tragedy. The Japanese Government associated Christ with foreign invasion. To preserve the Japanese culture, The Japanese Christians were persecuted into obscurity. The lack of Christianity shows in the culture. Many Japanese, while deeply spiritual, are struggling to find fulfillment in their lives. Many wonder what their purpose is, yet having no answer. Sadly, Japan has one of the highest suicide epidemics in the world, especially among the youth. Japan deserves the message and love that Christ brings. Christ belongs in Japan, as Christ is not a western God, but a God of all. Bringing the Word of God to modern worlds can be a challenge, but we believe that Japan is ready to have a revival. Personal Bio: I’ve personally always had a love of Asia. My Grandfather is from China and I grew up with a deep respect of all Asian Cultures. I’ve felt called to go the Japan since I was fifteen. I attended a DTS to Tokyo in 2015, and shortly after was accepted as a full-time staff. I have been working towards returning ever since. My goal is attending a school of worship in Japan to better prepare me as a leader. I then plan to move permanently to Japan. I’m hoping to have enough monthly funds to focus 100% on ministry. As a ministry we will be focusing on: Reaching out to the Youth. Preparing Japanese Ministers to reach out to their people. Missionary Naomi French DONATE Hey! I’m Naomi French and I am a full time staff with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Kona, Hawaii! Specifically, I am part of a Discipleship Training School (DTS) called Fire and Fragrance! YWAM is a apostolic (pioneering, multiplying, and going where no one else is going) Mission training and sending organization. For 3 months we train and empower young people to know and fall in love with Jesus. From that place of love and understanding, we spend 3 months in the nations to make His name known among every tribe and tongue. As Fire and fragrance we have a heightened focus on Intercession/Prayer and Worship in the Nations! In 2017, I came and did a Fire and Fragrance school, and I was radically changed by the empowering and propelling nature of YWAM. God’s transformative love became so clear, leading me to extravagantly love through sharing the gospel. I have been on staff since 2019. I get to disciple and walk with students who come to these schools, then lead them on an outreach to the Nations, and help them step out in their calling. I have watched students get incredible breakthrough, then see them lead people all over the world to salvation. It's a beautiful thing to witness the wild reality of God come to earth. This is my 3rd year on staff and though I feel closer to the Lord than ever, I am also constantly expectant that there is more to know and learn. It has created such a desire to walk out in full time missions on the field in the future. Wherever the Lord calls me, I can honestly say, I will go. For now it is my joy to help people come to the deep revelation of the Father’s love and walk in His call for all believers. Missionary Elijah Gliddon DONATE My name is Elijah, and I am a missionary serving with Fire & Fragrance. My greatest desire is to know Jesus deeply, make Him known, and live a life completely surrendered to His purposes. I believe that Jesus has called every believer to be part of something far greater than ourselves—to carry His love, truth, and hope wherever He leads us. My journey with Jesus has not always been easy or straightforward, but through every season, God has continued to reveal His faithfulness to me. He has taken the broken and difficult parts of my story and used them to give me a deeper compassion for people who feel forgotten, overlooked, or without hope. Through encountering Jesus, I have come to understand that the Gospel is not simply a message we believe—it is a life we live. Jesus has given me a desire to see people encounter His love, discover their identity in Him, and know that they are seen, valued, and never beyond His reach. Through Fire & Fragrance, I have been given the opportunity to pursue that calling through discipleship, prayer, worship, evangelism, and missions. Fire & Fragrance exists to raise up and send young people who are deeply in love with Jesus and willing to go wherever He calls. I am passionate about seeing my generation encounter God, become rooted in His Word, and be equipped to carry the Gospel into their families, communities, campuses, cities, and the nations. At the center of this calling is the Great Commission. Jesus commanded His disciples, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). I believe that command is still alive today, and I want my life to be an answer to it. Whether that means preaching the Gospel, discipling someone, serving behind the scenes, praying for the unreached, or simply loving someone who feels forgotten, I want to faithfully say yes to whatever Jesus asks of me. My prayer is to see people saved, disciples made, leaders raised up, and communities transformed by the presence and love of Jesus. I am stepping into missions because I believe the Gospel is worth giving my life for. I also believe that missions is something we do together. Some are called to go, while others are called to send, pray, give, and stand alongside those who go. Missionary Veelomi Geraldine Sigrah DONATE Hey Guys! Welcome to my story. My name is Veelomi Geraldine J. Sigrah and I'm from a small island called Kosrae in the South Pacific region. I'm so glad you took time to hop on my page and learn a little about me. I have been walking with the Lord for 2 years now and forever more to go. I had committed 5 years of my life to the Lord before I even knew that I was getting a scholarship from a few leaders of Fire and Fragrance school at YWAM Kona to join this Fall 2022. It’s crazy and prophetic , I know !I will always be in awe of how the Lord moves in my life . Right now I am in the discipleship training program for six months from September to March with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) . For those that don't know what YWAM is, it's a non-profit organization that trains and sends out fiery, young people to the nations to share the love of Jesus and the word of their testimony . I am called to be a full time missionary and I won't be able to work. But by His grace, I am hoping to see breakthroughs after breakthroughs of young folks rising up and serving the Lord alongside with me and trust that he will provide as we carry out His will in our lives. He is literally teaching me to be helplessly leaning on him at all times and not my own knowledge. “For the Lord is my light and salvation , whom shall I fear?'' I saw lives changed by how the Lord moves in my life. I have seen people getting delivered from demonic attacks andI have witnessed people getting healed by a simple prayer to the Lord . This is all through our relationship with Him! I am longing to be at the feet of Jesus and to bring this good news to all who need to hear about Him and how their lives can be radically changed too if they want it. Today,I get to live a life of freedom because I know I was a complete mess. In bondage, partying and all the wild things I was doing. I have been saved, forgiven and redeemed by the Lamb of God, the creator of all creation which includes you and I. I know I didn't deserve His love, none of us do. But that is just who He is (The God of Love), whether you believe He is or not. He draws near to those who are poor in spirit (Mathew 5:3). I truly believe that for you to be radically free from sin, you must have a relationship with GOD. You must be born again (John 3:3). I am not only quoting the scriptures because it is the truth, but I am actually a living testimony of those verses. The Lord saw me at my deepest downfall where I had nothing to lean on except for Him and he saved me despite my bazillion sins. Isn’t that just crazy ? Who would do that ? No one but Jesus. I have been radically changed ever since. I don't want to do anything that would not glorify Him. I am committed to serving Him wholeheartedly because He filled up the void in my heart and showed me what it is like to be loved by the creator himself. I never had to work for his love because His name is love. As a missionary , it is my job to reach out and humbly ask you to partner up with me in financial support and prayers. Missionary Pak Pakprakunpaisarn DONATE My name is Pak Pakkaphon, and I am a Thai missionary serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Khon Kaen in Thailand. My life has been deeply shaped by God’s grace and the people He has placed around me. Through many seasons of change, challenges, and growth, God has faithfully led me step by step. Today, I am committed to following His call to share the Gospel, disciple believers, and see lives transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. Currently, I serve with the Blessing Home team, where our ministry focuses on discipleship and mercy ministry. One of our main missions is running Discipleship Training Schools (DTS), where young people and adults are equipped to grow in their relationship with God and to live with a heart for missions. For more than ten years, this team has helped train many Thai believers who are now serving full-time with YWAM across Thailand. I have the privilege of serving as staff in the upcoming DTS, helping train and mentor the next generation of disciples. Another important part of our ministry is local outreach. Each week our team goes into nearby communities, including local slum areas, to share the Gospel through children’s ministry and personal testimonies. These communities often face challenges such as poverty, overcrowding, and drug problems. Our desire is to bring the hope and light of Christ into these places and to see children, families, and entire communities experience transformation through God’s love. As I continue serving in this new season with YWAM Khon Kaen, I believe God has clearly called me to invest my life in discipling Thai believers and reaching those who have not yet heard the Gospel. MISSIONARY Laila Garcia Amini DONATE Hi! My name is Lalia Garcia Amini. During my senior year of high school, God marked my heart for my generation. After experiencing the freedom of Jesus in my own life, my heart was so gripped knowing that there were people who had never encountered Jesus before and were desperately in need of Him. Growing up in an affluent county, my biggest heart cry all throughout middle school and high school was to see all my friends saved. As a 14 year old, the Lord marked me for missions as I began to dream big and even travel with my church overseas. However, before I embarked to other nations, the Lord challenged and presented a question to me: “How can you go out and serve in other nations when you haven’t served in your own backyard?” From there the Lord gave me His heart for His people through prayer and intercession for my friends and family and commissioned me to the greatest task in serving my own hometown. It has been such an honor to see the fruit of what the Lord has been doing in and through my life since then. It has been such an honor to partner with Him and be a part of His storyline! At the beginning of my senior year, I told God that if I didn’t get into my top school that I would take a year off to serve in missions with YWAM/Circuit Riders. Knowing the weight of this prayer, as this meant sacrificing my reputation, time, and money, I knew that the cost of following Jesus would be worth it. April came around and I didn’t get into any of my top schools, even though I was top in my classes and an honor student. However, great unexplainable peace settled in my heart. I knew that God had something much greater in store. After my senior year, I decided to join Circuit Riders Ministry in preaching the gospel to college campuses all over the nation. And guess what! God answered my prayers! I was able to witness my friends from high school give their lives to Jesus and get baptized at their universities! This year, the Lord has opened the door for me to pursue both online college and serve in missions with Circuit Riders. Our mission as Circuit Riders is to Save the Lost. Revive the Saved. Train them All. We are a grassroots movement and missional community based in Huntington Beach whose mission is to fulfill the great commission and inspire our generation to love like Jesus. Missionary Sterling Boyns DONATE Hello, My name is Sterling Boyns and I’m an actor and missionary called to serve and expand the Kingdom of God in Hollywood and to creatives all over the world. I was born in Oakland, CA and knew I wanted to be an actor since I was three years old. I studied acting in college and afterward pursued my craft in NYC and LA. While pursuing acting, I also volunteered at my local church. As God granted me favor and expanded my realm of influence in the entertainment industry, He also allowed me to see the darkness in the creative world and the desperate need for Jesus to come into this field. In March 2023, I put my acting career on hold to begin a new journey as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), the largest, non-profit missionary organization in the world, with over 1,800 campuses in over 180 countries. This movement is both international and interdenominational. YWAM’s mission statement is to know God and make Him known through focusing on discipleship training, evangelism and mercy ministry. I volunteered at YWAM Los Angeles where I joined the evangelism team, praying and sharing the Gospel regularly in Hollywood. After serving for three months, I moved to Kona, Hawai’i to serve at that YWAM campus and complete an incredible training.program called a Discipleship Training School (DTS). It was one of the most spiritually transformative experiences of my life. During that school, I realized this wasn’t just a seasonal moment—the Lord was calling me into full time missions to spread the gospel and make disciples of all nations, especially Hollywood. God’s cries have since intertwined with my own heart: to proclaim the Good News to artists, to bind up the broken hearts of creatives and spiritual orphans, to heal and minister to the people we call “rich and famous”, restore sacredness to Hollywood andredeem global storytelling. As a general in my Father’s army, my heart is to continue to fight until the Lord’s will is complete in the entertainment capital of the world. Later this summer, I will be going back to Kona because I’ve been accepted to help lead a new DTS called KINGDOM CREATIVES. It’s a school that will equip artists, storytellers, and entertainers to know God deeply and carry His presence into the arts and entertainment world. Students will be learning how to hear God’s voice, walk confidently in their identities and more through the lens of creativity, a biblical worldview for influence, and are launched into missions or the industry with spiritual depth, identity and purpose. My role as a volunteer-based leader consists of 1-on-1 discipleship, facilitating group discussions, coordinating and leading students during the mission field phase and assisting in the daily operations of worship, hospitality, finances and guest lectures. I’m building a team of monthly supporters who will partner with me in this kingdom work of leadership and making disciples for missions and the entertainment industry. Missionary Sofia Hofstad DONATE Hi there! My name is Sofia Hofstad and I'm a part of the missionary school called YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Our goal here at YWAM is to "know God, and make God known". We do this through different programs here at the Univeristy of the Nations, in Kona, Hawaii. I am a part of the Fire and Frangrace School where we bring the gospel to the ends of the Earth! I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in January of 2023, where I spent three months learning about everything from how to preach the gospel to intimacy with the Lord. The next three months I spent in New Zealand where I was able to partner with other groups in an amazing tour where we hosted worship nights, met with youth groups, and partnered with local ministries to see the lost saved! I was changed dramatically through the power of Christ during my six months in missions and knew that I wasn't done.
