Missionary Helen Jerrolds DONATE Hi everyone! My name is Helen Jerrolds and I am currently a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) in Kona Hawaii! If someone were to tell me in my first years of high school that I was to be called to a life of missions, I would have never believed it. During my senior year in high school however I felt the Lord place the calling of missions on my life and in September of 2023, I participated in a DTS (Discipleship Training School) through YWAM Kona. During my time there, I walked in discipleship, learned about Christian values and beliefs, and about the heart of prayer and worship before being sent to the Philippines on a short term missions trip where the Lord opened my eyes to His love for the people in the nations. During my time in DTS I could for the first time, feel the tangible presence and love of the Lord and it changed my perspective about missions and giving me a heart and desire to pursue it. This all coming from a place of brokenness and struggling with receiving the love of the Lord. The burden and desire the Lord has placed on my heart is that He would encounter people in unreached nations who do not know Jesus’ name and show them that He is The Way The Truth and The Life (John 14:6). I returned to YWAM Kona to continue on staff where I am receiving further training and discipleship to help train and raise young people up as leaders who love the Lord! My heart during my time serving as a missionary through YWAM is to be able to continue grow in my love in worship and prayer for the Lord while going to unreached nations to make disciples and spread the good news of Jesus based on Christ’s command in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15 As missionaries through YWAM, it is a full time volunteer position and I want to ask you to partner with me in this journey as I seek to look and lead more like Christ each day and bring His truth into the nations. Missionary Kaleia Magdaleno DONATE Short Backstory Hey friends, family, and those reading! For a short life update, recently I made the 360° turn to pursue a life of sharing the Gospel with others. I always loved and worked hard with everything I did, but something didn’t feel right, I just hadn’t known what. I began to engage in conversations with the homeless and God placed so many people in my path to not only help guide and encourage my journey, but who also were a few steps ahead in where I plan to be. I believe that God equips every person to be where they are now, and to help them succeed in the things they do, but for me he had been calling on my mind and heart to help, disciple, and shepherd his people. Through feeling lost and at times separated I realized he had been preparing my heart for missions all along. So I was obedient to his calling, moved home to plant seeds of faith in my family, put a halt on all the things I wanted, to chase the life god had laid out for me. My Next Steps To continue with this, I’ve been led to join Circuit Riders Discipleship Training School this next January. I’ll be entering a six month program where I will be sharpened and grown as a missional leader. For the first 3 months, I will be training and growing my faith and knowledge through His word; Surrounding myself with community, to prepare myself for discipling His people. For the following 3 months, I will be sent to outreach overseas to a currently unknown location to share the Gospel and knowledge I learned to uplift the people around me. And upon return, I hope to continue this lifestyle and staff with the organization to continue these mission trips, spreading Jesus’s love while helping those in need. Where You Come In None of this I can do on my own! I used to struggle with asking people for anything and was fearful to accept gifts, thinking it was an action that was forced. But praise God because he’s filled my life with amazing people who showed me that some actions are purely acts of love and God blessing and providing for his people’s needs. My heart is on my sleeve, and I hope you can see my love for helping those around me, and that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be! Whether you are of faith, or not just yet, just know that I am so thankful you read this and that any support received isn’t forgotten about. Even if this doesn’t quite make sense to you, I would still love to receive your support, share the other ways God has moved in my life and my full testimony, or even to hear yours.. so please don’t hesitate to reach out. Missionary Malia Rideb DONATE Hi friends and family! My name is Malia Rideb and I am currently in a missionary organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in a school called Discipleship Bible School (DBS). It is a 3 month school where we go through the whole Bible and we learn about God’s character and nature, Biblical action principles, and God’s redemptive plan. I am on my last week of the old testament and so far I have learned so much about God’s heart and how He is such a good Father. He simply longs to dwell with His children, but mankind runs to worldly things and breaks God’s heart again and again, which separates them from God. The Old Testament is this beautiful story of God bringing His kids back to Him. And that is God’s heart still today, of wanting to dwell with us and be in relationship with us. Once I am done with DBS I will be going right into helping lead Commission Camp in YWAM where I will lead a room of girls and disciple them for about a week. Instead of going on an outreach, the Lord has called me home and how home is going to be my mission field for about 2 months. I will be trying to start a hospital ministry where we will pray and minister to patients. I will also be doing a women’s Bible study, where I will take what I have learned in DBS and pour out the wisdom and revelations that I have gained to these women. In the fall I am excited to announce that I will be staffing a DBS where I will be leading people through the Bible, and disciple a group of people and also mentor women individually. I am also hoping to be helping lead the outreach that is offered with DBS and I will keep you guys updated on where that will be and what that will look like when I find out. I will be working a full time job when I am home, but I will still be needing about $1,300 a month for food, housing, plane tickets, etc. I will be working my hardest to make as much money as possible when I can, but I will need help. BUT, God is so good and he is our provider and he has called me to do all of these things so therefore I have so much faith that He will provide me the funds! Missionary Jillian Casados DONATE My Story & Why I'm Pursuing This Path Jesus met me when I was in 8th grade—at a time when I felt completely overwhelmed. I was struggling with anxiety, loneliness, and the weight of shame from the choices I was making. I was living for the world, and honestly, I just felt lost. One day, in the middle of all of that, I found myself crying out to God while I was in the shower. I asked Him to take my anxiety away and come into my life. I didn’t expect anything dramatic—but Jesus showed up. He met me right there, and that’s when everything started to change. That’s the moment I gave my life to Him. Even though I was saved then, it took a while for my faith to really grow. For years, I felt stuck—like I believed in Jesus, but I wasn’t living fully for Him. Everything shifted when I finally started reading the Bible for myself. That’s when my relationship with God came alive. I’ve been on fire for Him ever since. I recently went on a mission trip to London, where we spent two weeks sharing the Gospel with people, inviting them into the Kingdom. That experience lit something even deeper in me—I’m ready and willing for God to use me however He wants. I just want to keep burning for Him and walking in step with His purpose for my life. Why This School Matters to Me I want to be part of this school because I’m hungry to go deeper in my faith. I don’t want to just feel passionate—I want to be grounded, steady, and full of wisdom. I want to hear God's voice more clearly and be quick to obey when He speaks. I’m also eager to grow in understanding the Bible—not just reading it, but really knowing it and letting it shape the way I live and lead. More than anything, I just want to stay close to Jesus. I believe this school can help me grow in the areas where God is already at work in my heart, and I’m excited to learn, be stretched, and be poured into by others who are pursuing the same goals. Missionary Faith Deverian DONATE Hey everyone!! My name is Faith Deverian and I am a 19 year old missionary - a part of Circuit Riders which is a branch of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) movement. The heart of Circuit Riders is to see the lost saved and to equip them with the truth and tools to follow Jesus. Currently, I have been with Circuit Riders since September and left for a tour in January and am still on tour this March! The states I have been on tour in are North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Here’s what a typical day on tour looks like: we’ll stay at host homes, start our mornings out with praying together as a team over the campuses and communities we’re visiting, and then head to a college campus to talk with students, put up posters for the events we’re throwing that night, and evangelize. In the evening, we’ll host worship, share a message, and offer prayer ministry. We’ll be doing this every day, traveling together in a van from state to state, all for the sake of spreading the gospel and seeing hearts radically changed. This tour has been so incredibly life changing and it has been an honor to see the Lord move over college campuses. However, I still need to raise $3,000 to cover my travel expenses, food, and the remaining housing fees from the lecture phase. It feels like a big need, but I’m trusting God completely to provide, just as He has already shown up so faithfully. My name is Savanah Ponce, I am 20 years old, and in September I will be joining a 6-month Discipleship Training School with a missions organization called Circuit Riders! I grew up in a Catholic household but only ended up going to mass every Sunday without knowing what it meant to follow or even know Jesus. I would go to catechism every Wednesday to learn about God but it never resonated with me. I struggled most of my life with depression but no one ever knew the struggles because I would never show it. I felt lonely and just accepted the fact that I would struggle without any help. Going into high school I stopped going to church and was living my life completely in sin. Towards the end of my senior year I was going through many struggles and ended up going to a service that a friend invited me to. I fell at the feet of Jesus' overwhelming, loving presence.
