Hello :) I am Ellie and I am going into Full-Time Ministry!

For the past 3 years, I have been “dipping my toes” into the waters of full-time missions. I started by taking Training Schools offered by Youth With A Mission, YWAM. With these schools, I went on mission trips to various countries in Southeast Asia. I have also spent my summers working at Village Creek Bible camp. Through these experiences, I have fallen in love with partnering with the Lord in what He is doing and watching Him transform the lives of others. There is nothing else I would rather do, then spend my time serving the Lord.

This fall I have an exciting opportunity to keep working with YWAM, but overseas!! The plan is to head to Spain in October to work with the Discipleship Training School (DTS) that is running in the Canary Islands. DTS is the first school in YWAM. It is broken into 2 parts. The first is lecture phase which includes teachings, one on ones, and evangelism. The next phase is outreach, where students travel overseas and work with the local YWAM and local churches by serving and sharing the Gospel. I am beyond excited to be able to continue to serve the Lord in Spain.

The Lord is stretching me in ways I never could have dreamed of and through it all, I get to learn even greater dependence on Christ alone. There are so many people who desperately need to experience the hope that comes only through a relationship with our Savior. I am just grateful to be a part of what God is doing around the world and to watch people grow in faith.

BUT I cannot do this alone. This step of faith is only possible because of so many people’s support. In order to go into fulltime ministry, I need to be covered in prayer for the work ahead and for my eyes to stay fixed on the Savior. I also am in need of financial support. In total, I will need $1,000 a month to cover ministry expenses and living expenses such as food and rent. Please take the time to pray and consider if, or how, you are called to support me.
