I am on my way to doing their Discipleship Training School in 2026. In the first 3 months of my time I will be poured into by spending time with the Lord and learning more and more from Him. Missionary Arvin Rivero DONATE Hi, my name is Arvin Rivero. Born and raised in the Philippines, I am a missionary and a true believer in Jesus as the first and only hope of our broken world. Before I became a YWAMer, I had already been involved in a ministry that had kept my heart burning for Jesus. I served our local church as a leader since 2010 as part of the worship ministry, and as a part-time member for our church’s mission trips. I love Jesus, and all I wanted was to live life, serve God, and be a friend to as many people as God brings into my life. Until… In 2020, God called me to be a full-time missionary and serve with YWAM Impact Philippines. To lead international outreach teams, equip and train young leaders coming from different nations, be part of leading a national youth movement in the Philippines, and champion Filipinos. Quite broad and overwhelming? So, this is what our ministries look like when we view them from a practical perspective. • Compassion & Justice - Restoring dignity to those in prostitution, orphanage, and street communities • Impact Campaigns - Short-term missions creating long-term sustainable impact • The Send Movement - Activating youth for missional impact in every career and calling • Dental Collaborations - Serving hundreds of patients monthly in one of the world's top 10 worst dental nations • Origins Basketball - Using the Philippines' #1 sport (40M+ players) for missions • Team Extreme - Reaching nearly 1 million people through power stunts and gospel presentations • Life Bearers - Supporting women and children with health education and biblical family training • Music Immersion - Unleashing the prophetic voice of Filipinos through evangelistic arts • Prayer & Missions Movement - Believing for 24/7 prayer and worship for global breakthrough This is a lot, but this is just a proof of how ripe the field is in the Philippines. Just as Apostle Paul had churches that stood with him in prayer and provision, I believe God is calling partners today to share in the eternal reward of those who go. One of the greatest needs on the mission field is not just laborers, but people who will send laborers. I have a heart to win this generation back to Christ. Would you partner with me in that effort? Missionary Caio Silva DONATE Hi friends! My name is Caio Silva, I'm from Brazil, but I am living in the United States working as a full-time missionary with YWAM Kona. I grew up in the church, but was truly encountered by the truth and power of the gospel when I was in my 20s. Since then, my heart has been marked for seeing young people encounter the real man person of Jesus, fall in love with Him and live a wholehearted life pursuing Him. I currently work for a ministry underneath YWAM Kona called Fire and Fragrance. We run six-month discipleship training schools where young people can come to know God deeper and make Him known in the nations of the earth. These 6 months are divided into two portions: a 3-month lecture phase and a 3-month outreach. I staff both of these portions, the first in Kona on the campus and then the second somewhere across the earth. Long term in ministry, though, my vision and goals are to see youth movements erupt across the earth - whether in communities in the states or hard, closed nations. I long to see this generation swept up in the beauty and glory of Jesus and am willing to partner with Him in any way He would ask of me. As this is my full-time job, I live off of the generosity and financial support of those around me! I do not get any sort of payment or paycheck. We are both from South Asia and came to Christ before marriage, the first believers in their own families. We are returning to our home county in January 2019 to bring God’s word to the local people through evangelism and community service. We will be partnering with a local and international NGO to rescue children being trafficked into sex slavery. Missionary Henry Jellesed DONATE Hi everyone! My name Henry and I am going back to North Africa to make disciples, build cross-cultural relationships and share Christ's love. In 2024, I felt an invitation from the Holy Spirit to do a Disciple Training School in North Africa with an organization called Youth with a Mission (YWAM). After being completely transformed in the school, I have a heart for the people of North Africa and discipleship. I am excited to announce I will be going back to continue to help build the kingdom of God; the offer extends to you too! Prayers are always welcome! Last time I was in North Africa we encountered heavy spiritual resistance when in transportation or with our family and friends back home. So protection and safety were our top battlegrounds in prayer. As well as any $ gifts would be greatly appreciated and stewarded. One of the most impactful verses in my life were Jesus last words to his disciples "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19). Jesus' invitation for everyone who follows him is to participate in this commission whether to go or be a supportive partner.
