Missionary Sydnee Kolbs DONATE Hey everyone!! My name is Sydnee Kolbs! I am 23 years old and I’m from Ohio. I’m a recent grad of The Ohio State University! I’m currently doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Circuit Riders! I have learned a lot about myself, the Lord, the Word, etc., since I’ve been here. It’s been a super cool experience! I have friends from all over the country and around the world! Circuit Riders is a nonprofit missions organization that is under Youth With a Mission (YWAM). CR is about saving the lost and reviving the saved by spreading the Gospel! A lot of what is done here is to college campuses in the US and all around the world! There are different ways to be trained up here. I am involved with the Black Voices movement where we travel to HBCUs to empower young black people to use their voices and walk in their Christ-centered calling! This is where you come in! For 8 weeks my team and I will be touring at HBCUs, the Northeast US and the DMV area! In order for me to go to these HBCUs and help empower young people I need to raise money for my outreach fee and an additional $2500 to have food to eat on tour! Missionary Michael Tashjian DONATE My name is Michael Tashjian I am a full time missionary with YWAM Kona. I am a new staff member in the 2022 Fire and Fragrance discipleship training school. My heart longs for people to encounter Jesus. When I was sixteen-years-old, I began to have an interest in going to the nations. Since then, I have been deeply impacted by God's heart for the lost. The Lord has spoken in a number of ways and confirmed it a number of times. He has made it clear: I am to give myself fully to making disciples of all nations. Fire & Fragrance is a YWAM community focused on training and sending GEN-Z to the nations to share the gospel. I chose Fire & Fragrance because of its emphasis on God's presence being at the center of everything we do. I am currently serving as a full-time staff member developing young leaders. I spend several hours a week relationally investing in young people, helping them build the skills, character, and knowledge to join with the Holy Spirit to bring revival wherever He leads. Their vision is to plant a growing network of house-churches that are structured similarly to those of the early church. Missionary Georgia Cutrona DONATE Hi! I am Georgia Cutrona, a full time missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Kona! In 2021, I did my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Kona. God completely transformed my life and called me back to Kona, Hawaii to join staff for the DTS! I have been deeply impacted by the Lord's heart for His people and His nations. My heart longs to see young people surrender their lives to Christ and fall in love with Him. I am giving myself fully to the Great Commission––for every tribe, tongue, and nation to hear the Gospel! Every year we take 300 college age students to the nations after a 3 month lecture phase in Kona. We share Jesus in unreached villages, high schools, and homes around the world etc.. Every year many of our students get their own long term call to missions!! I have the joy of leading one of these outreach teams! I just returned from my first year of staffing where I led a team of 15 students to bring the Good News to South Africa! We were a tour style team which means that we spent 3 months traveling around the country seeing thousands of people encounter Jesus. I am so grateful for what the Lord has done and I am honored to go back and staff my second year! I desire for people to know Jesus. I will continue working in missions full time and reach the nations for Jesus! Missionary Raquel Tavares DONATE Hi! My name is Raquel and I was born in 1994. I am Swiss/Portuguese and come from the beautiful city of Geneva in Switzerland. I love music, dancing, biking, walking, watching sports, drinking coffee, and discovering new food. I am passionate about cultures and I love hanging out with friends. I have a bachelor in social work and my heart burns for worship, missions, discipleship, and cultures. In January 2021, I did my DTS (DiscipleshipTraining School) in Durrës, Albania and since then I joined the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) team as a full-time missionary. During my DTS, God healed my heart and my mind and emphasized the leadership gift that he has put inside me. Since then I have had the blessing to be part of staffing and leading DTS’s and Outreaches. And I am now involved in leading schools, worship ministry, and hosting teams. I have grown in many ways — in leadership, communication, worship, hospitality, and more. I feel privileged to be part of the work of God in this nation. Seeing God speaking identity and freedom to every generation in Albania has blessed my heart. Our base at YWAM Durrës is very international, with 9 different nationalities represented, ready to be His hands and feet in Albania. We train and equip, and our desire is to see a rising generation of youth who spread the gospel to Albania and to the end of the earth. We run 3 Discipleship Training Schools a year and a Discipleship Bible School (DBS). We are currently in the pioneering process of a Secondary School of Prophetic and Worship, which I will be part of. We also love our community and we have different partnerships with churches around Albania, which we help and invest in. We also are involved in and support English clubs, youth meetings, disabled centers, prison ministry, and home visits. Throughout the year’we host YWAM teams and churches from all over the world, who join in the ministries we do. I have loved working with youth from all around the world, discipling them and seeing them finding identity, freedom, and purpose in Jesus. I have daily chosen to say “YES” to the calling that Jesus has spoken and put over my life and would like to continue to follow His steps - discipling and leading His people to His presence. My desire is to see Albania, the Balkans, and every continent bowing to Jesus in worship and prayer, beholding and acknowledging how good and how wonderful our Father is. Missionary Noah San Juan DONATE Hey! My name is Noah San Juan and I am a full-time missionary in Florida and beyond! After much prayer and discernment, the Lord started burning a fire in my heart to reach the lost, the last, and the least. After losing my father to gun violence at 11 years old, I labeled myself an atheist. My life without Jesus was marked by depression and injuries, and in a state of desperation, I cried out for God to reveal himself to me… and He did. Since my surrender, I’ve been able to find forgiveness in my heart and communicate that to the man who took my father’s life. Now, my life is filled with a joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. Jesus met me at my lowest, right where I was at… And that’s where I feel called to reach others. My missionary work consists of college revival events, sharing my testimony, preaching the gospel, discipling students, media, evangelism, and more! I am walking into this calling and season of life with an open mind, heart, and hands. I plan on doing missions and ministry for as long as the Lord allows and Spirit leads. Missionary Izzy Schilthroat DONATE Hello friends!! My name is Isabelle(Izzy) Schilthroat and I have the incredible opportunity to go through Discipleship Training School starting in September 2025. It is all possible through Youth With A Mission! I am a senior in high school and with that comes the next steps in my life. I always thought I was meant to go straight into schooling and get my dream career right away. But God has other plans in store for me. While serving at the restaurant I work at I’ve found so much joy in helping people and bringing a good mood and smile into their day. About a month before my decision on this I had served someone who asked me why I wouldn’t want to go on a mission trip. It got me thinking that maybe my future can wait until later if I have the chance to make even one life better now. I believe that was the Lord in my heart telling me the path I should go down. My mission will include three months spent in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I will develop my relationship with Christ and practice evangelism throughout the island! The next three months will be spent in the nations giving all my time and love to the people and communities around me! We estimated the trip total to be around $8-9 thousand with $6 thousand being the DTS and outreach. I don’t expect to raise everything but as a high school student I can only work part time so everything I make goes towards saving for the cost of schooling and flight tickets . I know I can’t do it without God’s help, and I would love for you to be a part of this journey through prayer, and if the Lord calls you to connect financially that would be more than appreciated!
