Missionary Holly Veenker DONATE Hey Friends! God is so faithful, kind, and unfailing through every season, and He is GOOD! All glory goes to the Creator! Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to attend YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Älesund Discipleship Training School to pursue missions and outreach! I learned more about God and His word through lectures and exercises, community living, practical training, and utilizing my creative gifts to honor the Creator through art. We also had the opportunity to go on an outreach trip where, I, along with a team of eight others, traveled throughout England and Scotland, serving, sharing the gospel, loving others, and evangelizing. I grew a huge love for stepping out in faith and listening to the Holy Spirit as we were sharing the good news and loving people! The Lord did amazing things and if you want to hear more about it all, please reach out to me! I would love to share! WHAT WILL I BE DOING? A lot of the ministries that I got to be a part of at the base in Norway and in the UK on outreach revolved around worship and prayer. I learned so much about leading worship and intercession and realized how much the Lord has given me a heart for discipling others in and through worship. I truly believe He has given me this gift, and I want to do everything in my power to bring Him honor through it. After the DTS, I was offered the opportunity to take on a staffing position at the YWAM base in Älesund and be a part of their worship and prayer team, as well as joining their other various roles on the base. After much prayer and seeking the Lord's will, I feel called to go back and pursue full-time missions with YWAM Alesund for the upcoming year! ABOUT YWAM ÄLESUND I am thrilled to be a part of YWAM Älesund and partner with them as they seek to honor Jesus and make His name known in Norway and all over the world. YWAM Alesund provides training in discipleship and leadership through their missions schools. They have a heart for creative missions and using our passions and giftings to bring the Creator glory through art. Additionally, YWAM Alesund continuously reaches out to the community, building relationships and loving those around them. They also serve alongside the YWAM Medical Ships that bring medical aid and the love of Jesus to Papua New Guinea. Missionary Taia Harris DONATE Hi! My name is Taia Bian and I am a full-time missionary with YWAM Circuit Riders, a mission dedicated to using every tool available to reach this generation with Jesus' salvation. In 2021, the Lord answered my prayers of over 6 years, that He would "send me." For the first time in my life, I had clear direction on what I was meant to do in my next season. So as I prepared to graduate from university, I also prepared to take six months post-grad to participate in a missionary training school and travel the country with Circuit Riders. Little did I know that God wasn't just calling me for a season, but for a life of missions. There are some things that you see, and you know you can't ever turn back. On our brief two-month tour in the spring of 2022, I saw hundreds of people give their lives to Jesus. I watched young men in a rehab center in Mexico set on fire for the Gospel and turn around and preach it to their peers. I saw South and Central American refugees turn to the Father, hopeless and broken, with the biggest smiles and an overflow of joy because they had encountered the one who would restore, protect, and provide for them. In the Midwest, I watched as tens of thousands of Gen Z were touched and activated by the simple Gospel and the Great Commission, and I knew that God created me for such a time as this. Circuit Riders' motto is "Save the lost. Revive the saved. Train them all." My heart burns for that mission because I've seen it in real-time. I've preached the Gospel to people who have never heard it, who never knew the freedom found in Jesus. And I've seen them accept it. I've seen them give everything to Jesus. I've seen Christians who have been burned, who have given up, come to remember the joy of their salvation. I've seen them get excited again because now they know the one true living God for who He really is. And I've seen all of these people, turn around with a fire for Jesus and go out and share the Good News. This is what I give my life to laboring for. Would you prayerfully consider investing in seeing revival break out across America and to the nations? As I've prayed to the Lord of the harvest that He would send out workers into the field, He has answered this prayer by sending me, as He did for the twelve in Matthew 10:5. I will invest in this kingdom work with all that I have to give and I believe that God is appointing people who want to see His will done on earth as it is in Heaven and He is commissioning them to sow into this work. My name is Jillian Fogel, I have been serving with an organization called YWAM - Youth With A Mission - as a full-time missionary since fall of 2020 after completing their discipleship training program earlier that year. YWAM is a missions organization focused on raising up young people to know God and make Him known. I was one of those young people who was championed and encouraged to follow the missional calling God placed on my life and now I am incredibly passionate about seeing others rise up and step into what God has for them! Last year I went to Taiwan to complete a 9-month Bible School and during that time felt an invitation from the Lord to partner with what He is doing in this beautiful nation. I am currently committed to serving for the next two years in Tamsui, Taiwan. The first three months I am committed to help staff a bilingual discipleship bible school; I’m super excited to see students grow in their understanding and love for the word of God. MISSIONARY Jenna Jackson DONATE Hey guys! I’m Jenna. I’m 23 years old and have been following Jesus for over five years now. Over the past five years God has taken me on a wild ride! Getting saved just after graduating High School was the best thing that could have ever happened to me and since that day I knew I was called to give my whole life for the Gospel, no matter what that would mean. When I was in high school I was incredibly lost and broken beyond repair, or so I thought. One night the love of Jesus just met me like I never knew possible. I found my identity in Christ, my freedom, my purpose, my everything all because of His great love for me. I know my calling in life is to carry that love to those around me, pouring the love of Jesus out into high school and college campuses. For the past three years I’ve been working for a local church in Narragansett, RI as the Youth Director. Myself and my leaders believe that in this season, God is calling me to go out into the missions field. Starting in October I’ll be attending Circuit Rider Experience, based in Huntington Beach, CA to be trained as a messenger of the Gospel. From there I will be going on tour as a Circuit Rider assigned to a specific region in the United States. The craziest statistic to me is that after high school, about 86% of people never step foot in a church again. The don’t continue their walk with God, they don’t get connected in community, they don’t live for God, they don’t live knowing how loved they really are, and they don’t live free. That needs to change. College campuses need to be turned upside-down by the relentless love of God, high schoolers need to hear the truth of the Gospel that holds the power to set them free and satisfy them more than anything else in this world ever will. I am so excited to say that I have joined YWAM Kona (Youth With A Mission) and will be attending a Disciple Training School (DTS) in October 2024. YWAM DTS is a 6 month training program that consists of two phases, the lecture phase and outreach phase, each phase is roughly 3 months. During lecture phase, the focus will be on knowing God, His Word and His world, with the intention of seeking transformation, a renewed mind, and personal growth. In outreach phase, students are broken up into teams to take the message and love of God across the world. Over the past year, I have witnessed God's heart for missions. Jesus has instilled in me a burning desire to witness the salvation of people everywhere. My ultimate goal is to spread the knowledge of Jesus and make Him known to all. Missionary Lyric Tharp DONATE Hello! My name is Lyric Tharp and I am a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth with A Mission). YWAM's mission statement is to bring people together to train and help develop their relationship with God and others, to help them find the purpose God has placed in their lives, and to empower others to live like Christ no matter where God will place them. We are a community that lays our lives before the cross daily. It's His love that drives us to fulfill the promises of God and share the gospel to ALL! This is my very first year giving my full YES into my calling as a missionary. I dipped my toes in when I applied for DTS (Discipleship Training School) with Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach, California this last spring, not knowing God was going to completely interrupt the plans I had for my life in the best way possible. The SECOND I started my DTS, God met me, changed my heart, my intentions, and my purpose. I was swooned by him. I thought I knew His love, but I had never felt it the way I did the moment I let go of my life and fully submerged giving it ALL to Christ. He gave me this hunger to live a life dedicated to meeting the needs of the lost and making heaven crowded! I got to experience unity like NO OTHER amongst my peers while preparing for missions and just bringing revival and restoration to the city and our lives! During my DTS missions trip I've witnessed healings, breaking of chains, an outbreak of revival and JOY, and SO MUCH MORE! I recently have received news that I have been given the opportunity to partake in a secondary school with YWAM in Rogaland, Norway. Starting this September, I'll be taking a three-month Biblical Core Course with an optional missions trip to Israel, where we also are able to firsthand experience biblical history! During this time, I will be studying the Bible, learning how to use it in daily life, preaching, bible studies, etc. and serve both local and global communities through evangelism, training, and mercy ministry.
