Missionary Kelly Parr DONATE Hola, yo soy Kelly Parr! If you do not know me yet, I am a spunky middle aged woman who has never met a stranger. I love Jesus, people, discipleship, and speaking Spanish. I am obsessed with pickleball and I enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, skiing and watching movies. I have some exciting news to share with you! Lord willing, I am moving to Nicaragua this August to do missions for at least one year! I have felt the call to work with kids in Latin America since I was eighteen years old, but have only have been able to do so on short trips. The opportunity and timing have finally lined up for me to move there and serve the Lord! When I was a college student, I wanted to serve in Young Life with Latin America, but then as an Air Force wife, God had other plans for me to raise my children in the United States. Since I have been an empty nester, I have visited Nicaragua three times through Young Life to form relationships and lead short-term mission trips. The Young Life staff there have welcomed me with open arms and have in fact created a position for me in the capital city of Managua to help Young Life grow in spiritual depth. The plan is to rent a small home in a safe area in Managua and be a Young Life leader in a "rough" neighborhood. I will be a Young Life leader leading high school kids, as well as discipling and mentoring young women and teens who are also Young Life leaders, and teaching impoverished children about Jesus weekly through an outreach that will be similar to Vacation Bible School. All three of these ministries line up with the passions that God has grown in my heart throughout my life. My years leading Young Life state-side and teaching teenagers Spanish have prepared me for such time a this! I am expectant for what God will do during this time in Nicaragua. As I step into this season, I would love to invite you to be part of it with me. While I'm personally covering a portion of the costs, I'm trusting God to provide through a team of people who feel led to support this mission through prayer and, if possible, financially. Missionary Marcelo Fernandes Candido DONATE My name is Marcelo, and I was born and raised in Brazil. At 18, I moved to Canada to study Sales and Marketing because I believe God gave me a heart for communication. I wanted to develop those skills so I could use communication as a tool to share the good news of Jesus wherever I go. In 2025, I went on my first mission trip to South Africa. What started as a two-week trip completely changed the direction of my life. During those two weeks, God gave me a deeper heart for missions and showed me that He was calling me to more than short-term trips—I knew He was calling me to a lifestyle of full-time missions. In April 2026, I joined YWAM Kona (Youth With A Mission), where I spent three months being trained and equipped to share the Gospel across cultures. After that, I traveled through Africa, from Cairo to Cape Town, crossing 9 countries with my team. We saw hundreds of people hear the Gospel and make decisions to follow Jesus. But through everything we experienced, God continued to burn missions even deeper into my heart. Now, I’m staying in Kona as part of the staff team for Kingdoms Creative DTS, helping train and equip a new generation of missionaries to use creativity and communication to make Jesus known. I’ll also be serving with the media department, using the skills I developed in Canada. Later this year, I’ll have the opportunity to lead another outreach team to another nation, using communication and creativity as a way to share the Gospel. To continue saying yes to this calling, I need a team of monthly supporters who will partner with me in this journey. Missionary Olivia Kitts DONATE Hi there! My name is Olivia Kitts, and I serve as a full time missionary with the organization YWAM (Youth With A Mission) based in Kona, Hawaii. God called me to do a DTS (Discipleship Training School) with YWAM a few years ago, and my life hasn’t been the same since! I discovered that God was a Father who deeply desires relationship with His children and wants to partner with us to bring forth His kingdom in the nations! The specific school I serve with is the Fire and Fragrance DTS. Worship and prayer are the heartbeat of this school and is at the center of everything we do! The vision of Fire and Fragrance is to raise up young leaders who burn with love for Jesus and are willing to go to the hardest and darkest places to share the Gospel with those who haven’t heard! We regularly train and equip hundreds of young people to be sent all over the world in obedience to Matthew 18:18-20 ““And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” I am passionate about Gen Z knowing that they CAN have a relationship with the God of the universe and seeing them step fully into who God has called them to be! I am also passionate about seeing unreached people groups reached with the Gospel of Jesus, discipled, and reformed by the Word of God. Through staffing at YWAM, I have the great honor of pouring into my generation and leading teams to the nations to see the lost saved, the broken healed, and the captives set free! Missionary Grace Lilly DONATE When I was 12 Christ saved my life, and at 13 I vowed to follow Him wherever and into whatever He called me to go. When I was 14, the Lord gave me a heart that longed to see those wandering in darkness without hope come to know Him as their hope and light. And with this longing, the Lord shifted my heart to international missions. In the years that have followed, the Lord has led me to India for my YWAM Discipleship Training School, Japan, Niger, and Northern Ireland. The Lord has also led me to Colorado Christian University where I earned a Bachelors in Theology with a minor in Intercultural Ministry. Now, the Lord has invited me to follow Him to Oita, Japan. The Lord shifted my heart toward Japan and the Japanese in 2019, and has imparted to me a longing to see the Japanese come to know His love, hope, peace, encouragement, and redemption. I long to see the Japanese, especially young Japanese, come to know what is the breadth and length and height and depth of the love that God has for each of them (Ephesians 3: 18-21). The heart of YWAM Oita is to apply hospitality, cultivation of God’s presence and creativity to minister the love of God to the people of Japan. I will be developing connections with local university students in the Oita area through the use of hospitality, friendship, and English conversation experiences. Centered on the ministry of presence and hospitality, these students will be invited into my home, life, events, and various other settings where the love of God will be ministered through faithful Christian hospitality through meals, conversation, genuine friendship, and walking together through life. YWAM as an organization has a focus on knowing God and making God known, so I will also partner with YWAM Oita in this mission in the local area. This may look like worship ministry, art ministry, English classes, being involved in the local community, participating in the local church body, staffing Discipleship Training Schools, and walking in fellowship with local believers and missionaries. Wherever the Lord invites me to step into partnership with His work, I will partner with Him. I foresee myself partnering in ministry both to believers and nonbelievers. Just as I partner with the Lord in the work that He is doing in Oita, Japan, I invite you to partner with the work that the Lord is doing in Japan. Just as the apostle Paul invited the church of Philippi to continue their partnership with him in the work that the Lord was doing amidst the Gentiles all over the Mediterranean and Asia Minor, so I invite you to partner with me in prayer and financial support. Please, walk with me as I am sent out to minister the love of God through the gospel to the Japanese - as Paul was sent out to minister the love of God to the Gentiles. Missionary Sacel Navarrete DONATE My grandfather was a missionary and planted churches in different states across Mexico. My father, although he works now, also went on a missionary trip to Cuba. I believe the decisions my father and grandfather made have given me a special calling and even a legacy in missions. I have a heart for the nations, especially for Japan. Right now, I’m serving with YWAM Hola, a base located in Mexico City, in Coyoacán, where our goal is to send Mexicans to the nations. I’m part of discipling and sending Mexicans, but my goal is also to be sent full-time to Japan. For now, I’m beginning to learn Japanese with my former DTS leader (he is Filipino-Japanese). What I am doing at Upper Room Dallas: Upper Room has prayer room hours throughout the week Monday – Fridays 6am-8pm. MISSIONARY Lysen Storaasli DONATE I am ministering full-time to the nations with Bethel Church Missions Department! I first felt the presence of the Lord in 1999 and was immediately ruined for anything less than ALL of Him. His friendship was so good I began wondering what my part could be in reaching people with the love I had encountered. As I sought Him, I began to sense a call to missions that was first confirmed in 2003 on a trip to Ukraine. Since then, the Lord has cultivated within me a heart for motherless children, a passion to pastor all generations into intimate connection with Jesus, and to carry a portal to the eternal hope in Jesus to those who feel like they are drowning in grief. I have been to Uganda, South Africa, Israel, Cambodia, Mexico, Haiti, Vietnam and across Europe seeing people encounter the love of God and be transformed in His presence. I am now working in full time ministry after doing countless short-term mission trips over the last 22 years, 15 years of dedicated work as a nurse in pediatric oncology and three years of Bethel School of Ministry. Missionary Eden Foester DONATE Hello! My name is Eden Foester and I’m 20 years old, from Wilmington, Delaware. After graduating from high school, I attended a 6 month Discipleship Training School through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) at their base in Kona. During this time, I was able to spend 3 months diving deep and learning about God as well as growing in my relationship with Him. Then, I was able to go with a team to Lebanon for 3 months to spread the good news of Jesus and put to use all that I had learned in my time in Kona! During DTS, my heart for missions had really grown, and I felt the Lord call me back to serve on staff. Starting last July, I served on staff with YWAM for 9 months. This included leadership training, staffing lecture phase, and staffing an outreach to The Philippines. Staffing was an incredible experience, and it's such a joy to be the hands and feet of what God is doing in this generation, and across the world. I am continuing staffing with YWAM this June, and I will be staffing another DTS! I am responsible for raising my own support as a missionary on staff with YWAM, which means that I need people like you to help support me and send me out!
