- Elana York
Missionary Elana York DONATE Hi! My name is Elana York and I am a student with the Joshua Wilderness Institute at Hume Lake Christian Camps. I am 20 years old, born and raised in Hanford, CA. Hume Lake holds such a special place in my heart. When I was 11 years old and in 6th grade, my school went to Hume for a week-long camp. It was there that I decided to take my faith seriously and surrender my life to the Lord. Over the past 5 years, I have had the opportunity to serve on several mission trips. The Lord truly cultivated a heart for ministry in me through each of these trips. It’s been such a beautiful opportunity to see the Lord work globally. Since committing my life to the Lord, I have done my best to serve Him in every season of my life. Right now, that season is with the Joshua Wilderness Institute (JWI). JWI exists to disciple young adults toward loving God and His Word in order to set a foundation for a life worthy of the gospel. I will be living in a beautiful place with 55 other students, taking Bible classes, learning from various speakers, going on different trips, participating in small groups and book studies, working in all of the different departments of camp and more. I will be starting JWI in September 2024 and graduating in May 2025. In the program, I hope to learn more about the Word of God and how to truly be a witness to others about the gospel. I am beyond excited to see what God does in and through my time there! One of the ways we will be applying what we learn in the building is through our service and learning trips. We take five trips throughout the program, three domestic and two international. In the United States, we participate in a formational camping trip at the beginning of the year, do work projects at Hume SoCal, and experience different cultures, service and evangelism opportunities in Inner-City LA. Internationally, we work alongside missionaries to practically serve and share the gospel with communities in the Dominican Republic. This is done in partnership with Students International, a missions organization that I have served with many times over the last few years. We then finish the year with a two-week geography and study tour of Israel. I had the privilege to go to Israel this past June. It was a life changing trip for me. I am so excited to be able to go back to the Holy Land and see our 9 months of learning come alive while on the trip. As I prepare for this next chapter of my life, I strongly desire my community to be a part of this journey alongside me. There are a few ways that I would love to invite you to help send me as I follow the Lord in this way. First, I invite you to please pray for me. 1) Please pray for my health, especially during my time at Hume. 2) Please pray that the Lord strengthens my relationship with Him through this program, builds a loving and supportive community among the students, and provides in every way that needs to be met. Your prayers mean the world to me and I am so thankful for your partnership in this way. Second, I invite you to help send me financially. This incredible program costs $14,000. This includes all of my classes, room and board, travel, and trips. Would you consider helping me financially? Your gifts would be an investment into the Kingdom and help people hear the Good News. Gifts are tax-deductible and can be made online or by check. Please see below to make a donation. I am so thankful for your partnership and prayers, it really means a lot to me. I look forward to sharing how God uses this program for His glory and my good! “For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’ But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!’” Romans 10:13-15 In Christ, Elana York Donate
- Kyle Porterfield
Missionary Kyle Porterfield DONATE My name is Kyle Porterfield. My greatest desire in life is to love God and to love others. I desire to create disciples of Jesus in relational environments, to care for the weak and broken-hearted, to be an example of Christ and to call others and myself to the standard God desires for us. Recently I’ve been sensing the Lord putting missions, ministry, and youth on my heart. I’m unsure of how all of these will come together, but I trust God to lead me step by step. After much prayer I feel the first step is attending the School of Biblical Studies with YWAM Kona. YWAM’s School of Biblical Studies is a nine month long inductive Bible study course where I will gain an in-context understanding of the Scriptures from cover to cover. I recently visited the campus and joined in on a lecture. They were going through the book of Hebrews, dissecting it, scrupulously investigating it to find out the who, what, when, where, and why of the book. They did extensive historical background to build a broader context, asking the question of what the letter would have meant to the original readers and, through that lens, how the Word applies to us today. I believe that having an in-depth, inductive understanding of Scripture will equip me with a solid Biblical worldview and help me to navigate different situations and seasons of life with a Biblical approach. I will learn to look at Scripture with a much deeper understanding and be able to teach both topically and inductively in Bible study settings, youth groups, or wherever else the Lord may allow me to teach. YWAM’s mission statement is “To know God and to make Him known.” I pray that through this school, I can do exactly that, knowing God through His Word and making Him known by sharing His Word. Currently I am asking God for partners to pray for me and give so that I can take this next step and attend this training. I will need $1600 per month to cover expenses and a bit more in order to participate in the Titus Outreach at the end of the year. If you’re interested in partnering in ministry with me, feel free to contact me via phone, text or email. My phone number is (208) 659-2266 and my email is kylejporterfield67@gmail.com . I would love to have you join my team. Kyle Donate
- Ayllene Andrade
Missionary Ayllene Andrade DONATE Hello everyone! I am Ayllene Andrade, a vibrant and determined 20-year-old with deep roots in Cape Verde and a growing life in Rhode Island. Now residing in Rhode Island, I am embracing new opportunities, building connections, and creating a path for my future while staying closely connected to where I come from. This year, I had the privilege of attending BVCON26, where God worked in an extraordinary way, and one of the outcomes was the revelation of my calling. Since then, I’ve been diligently seeking ways to fulfill this calling that God has placed in my heart. However, I have some exciting news to share! CR School is offering a training program which is a week-long intensive, missional training program designed to equip young people with leadership, evangelism, and spiritual growth skills. This experience holds immense significance for me because it will allow me to foster leadership development, nurture spiritual growth, and engage in practical evangelism. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in both my local community and beyond. I would love to ask for you to partner with me through financial support and prayer! I am currently raising $1,000 to cover the costs of the class, housing, and transportation. If you feel led to contribute financially, I would be incredibly grateful for your donation. If you are unable to provide a monetary contribution, sharing this message would mean the world to me. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with me! Ayllene “May the Lord be loyal to you in return and reward you with his unfailing love! And I, too, will reward you for what you have done.” 2 Samuel 2:6 NLT “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25 NLT Please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions. - Subiq Nepali
MISSIONARY Subiq Nepali DONATE Who am I? 12 years ago I heard the Gospel for the first time and it changed everything. I was the first person in my whole village to believe in Jesus and since then I have dedicated my life to spreading the Gospel. In the past five years have joined full-time ministry with the Fire & Fragrance YWAM team in Kathmandu. I have really enjoyed working with them through Trekking Outreaches, Curriculum Translation, and Bible Trainings. My Vision In Nepal there are over 125 languages that we know of; some do not even have a written form. Of all those languages we only have the Bible in about 30. I want to help translate God’s Word into these languages so that people in remote areas can know and understand the Gospel. Surrounding my own nation there are many other places that also have Bibleless languages. As we progress through translating and continue to grow, I am looking forward to multiplying our work into these other regions. I believe that we can end Bible Poverty in my lifetime. My Plan These days I am continuing my work in translating Bible Trainings and Curriculums into Nepali. We have also formed an Oral Bible Translation (OBT) team in Kathmandu who are partnering with other organizations like Faith Comes By Hearing. We have begun assessing the situation and are forming a strategy on how to begin translations. In the next year we are planning on beginning translation in at least 3 languages. One day we plan to open a Translation Center from which we will be able to train and equip others to continue translation work both with us and in new locations amongst new languages. 1 Year – Gathering Native People, Organizing. Give them Job to translate. 3 Languages 5 Years – Translation Center, Multiplying Translating Teams to surrounding regions and nations with unreached languages. Donate
- Beth Aguilera
Missionary Beth Aguilera DONATE BRIEF BACKSTORY: Hello everyone!!!! Long story short, for those of you that don't know about what God has been doing in my life in the past 8 months, I was in denial that it was my responsibility to share the Gospel with others but the Lord prepared a rude awakening that humbled me and allowed me to see His heart for the lost. Since then the Lord has been sending people into my life that have encouraged me on this journey of learning to burn for the desire to share the Gospel with others. Not only that, but my friend Leah and I have successfully begun worship and evangelism pop ups in public spaces like malls. Anyways, for 5 months I wrestled with the decision to go to YWAM because it meant having to let go of a lot. Luckily the Lord paved a way for this to happen and I surrendered my doubt to trust the Lord fully in this process of learning to lean entirely on Him and have faith that others see my heart behind joining DTS. WHERE I WILL BE: YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission, they are a worldwide missions organization that helps equip and send out people to all parts of the world to make Jesus known. DTS stands for Discipleship Training School which is what I will temporarily move away to be a part of for 6 months. For the first 3 months, I will be partaking in classes that will allow me to be discipled and get to know God better through the examination of His word. The last 3 months will be spent on a mission, putting into practice my faith and teaching/sharing Jesus with others somewhere overseas. WHY I NEED YOUR HELP: I need your help because this is not something I can do alone. I grappled with the fact that I would have to ask people for help because I struggle with hyper independence because it feels like I am a burden to people if I show I need help (personal issues lol). Praise the Lord though because He has given me peace over this by reminding me that I have been living a life that sets a precedent that completely backs the reason for joining DTS. My heart is out for all to see and to know that this is exactly where I want to be, at the feet of Jesus learning more about Him and passing everything I will know on to people I eventually hope to disciple. I pray that you all can see that this is something that won't just edify me, my heart is that I would learn so that I can teach and disciple others. If you have seen my heart in this or would like to know more about my full testimony please reach out. Otherwise, I would insanely appreciate your blessing on this journey if the Lord has already placed something on your heart. Donations do not have a minimum. If all you have is $1 I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thank you for reading this far. I love you all so very much <3 Beth Donate

- Tomy Phillips
Missionary Tomy Phillips DONATE Hey everyone. My name is Tomy Phillips. Currently, I am a part of Youth with a Mission (YWAM), registered for Lakeside, Montana partaking in the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). In 2022, God made it clear to me to spend a season as a part of YWAM. I signed up, went to YWAM Kona, and completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS). During DTS, God drew me closer to His heart. He worked in my heart, healing pains that I had carried since I was a child. One thing God worked on was the idea of love and the misconception of how to be loved. God showed me His unconditional love, that He has loved us before we could do anything to earn it. I want to share that love with the world. As part of my DTS, I was sent as a missionary to Gambia, Africa for almost 3 months. During this time I fell in love with missions and spreading the Gospel. I feel like my purpose is to tell people about God and be a light in a world desperately needing more of God. In this season, God has called me to grow my foundation upon Him. SBS is a nine-month school that studies all 66 books of the Bible to provide a firm biblical understanding applicable to life. Going to SBS will provide knowledge that will influence how to live my life, make decisions, and interact with others. The school will equip me with the tools needed to give God's Word to others. Psalm 119:10-11 - “With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” God has called me to know Him more, knowing His word to have the endurance and faith to live for God wherever He takes me. SBS is a $12,000 investment, which I need help to pay. Would you prayerfully consider being a part of this journey by giving financially? I am also looking for people to partner with me in prayer during this season. Thank you, Tomy Phillips Donate
- Patrick & Sara Queiroz
Missionary Patrick & Sara Queiroz DONATE Hey everyone, we are Patrick and Sara Queiroz and we are full time missionaries. We did our DTS with YWAM in Kona in the year 2022 and 2023 and served with them as staff discipling young people and leading a team to Africa. For several years, God has spoken about Asia, a specific closed nation in Asia. This calling has been something we have carried in prayer for a long time, and we have been waiting for God’s timing and guidance for the right step forward. As we continued to pray and seek Him we understood that God would first lead us to a place where we could begin preparing - somewhere we could learn the language and grow in understanding about the culture. Over time, God made it clear that this place would be Taiwan. In August 2026, we will be moving to Taiwan . This step feels both exciting and challenging for us. We see it as an important preparation season for the long-term calling we believe God has placed on our lives. We do not see Taiwan as the final destination, but as a significant step in the journey God is leading us on. Our passion is to see the young generation walking in freedom and knowing their identity in Christ and fully surrendered and in love with Jesus who will go anywhere for the Gospel. Patrick and I’s lives were deeply impacted and changed during our DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Kona. Jesus met us in our brokenness and showed us His unconditional love for us!! We have said “YES” to serving God and believe that the good news and His love is not just for us, but for every soul on earth!! This is what our heart burns for, to go into the world and share about the real freedom we can have in Jesus!! We want to obey God and follow Him wherever He leads us and serve Him wholeheartedly. This isn’t a part-time commitment. It’s a full-time mission. As missionaries, we don’t receive a salary, we live by faith and rely on the generosity of those who believe in the mission. We are currently building a team of monthly financial partners and prayer warriors who want to be part of what God is doing in and through this generation. Would you prayerfully consider being a monthly partner, or giving a one-time gift? Blessings, Patrick & Sara Queiroz Donate
- Jornel & Geetha Rivera
Missionary Jornel & Geetha Rivera DONATE In 2022, we participated in YWAM DTS Kona, where we received training and preparation for mission work. This experience equipped us for the outreach opportunities that followed. In 2023, we embarked on an outreach mission in Vietnam. Following Vietnam, we joined an outreach mission in Bad Blankenburg. There, we had the opportunity to give assistance to Ukrainian refugees who had fled the war. Providing physical, mental, and spiritual support to these individuals brought hope and healing amidst challenging circumstances. From Germany, we joined a medical mission trip to Kurdistan, Iraq. Responding to an invitation from the Kurdish military, we provided medical services to the soldiers and their family, using traditional medicine while also offering prayers for the sick. It was a profound privilege to share the love of Jesus with the Muslim people, demonstrating the compassion and care that He embodies. These mission experiences have shaped our perspectives, deepened our faith, and ignited a passion within us to continue serving others with love and dedication. Through these opportunities, we have witnessed lives being transformed, communities being empowered, and the love of Jesus being shared in tangible ways. On August 2023, Geetha and I joined YWAM Ships Philippines, where we have served as dedicated full-time volunteer staff missionaries. YWAM Ships Philippines’ mission is to bring hope to the secluded islands of the Pacific. YWAM Ships strive to serve the nations and improve the lives of individuals by providing vital medical and dental care in remote locations. Personally, our role will focus on training and equipping the medical and dental volunteers from various countries. Additionally, we will also be involved in raising financial support to procure essential medical supplies for our mission endeavors in the Pacific. Our mission statement is as follows: Teach, Preach, and Heal: Reflects Jesus' multifaceted ministry approach, encompassing teaching, preaching, and healing. Compassionate Service: Emphasizes the importance of serving others with compassion, mirroring Jesus' ministry of love and care. Mentoring a Few : Mirrors Jesus' intentional investment in a small group of disciples for deeper mentorship and discipleship. Train People Who Can Train Others: Reflects Jesus' strategy of equipping disciples to multiply their training, enabling exponential growth in discipleship. Mission Trend: Shifting from Direct Care to Teaching : Recognizes a contemporary trend in missions towards emphasizing teaching and equipping over direct care provision. Empowering Others : Encourages empowering individuals to perform tasks themselves, aligning with Jesus' principle of enabling others to utilize their abilities fully. Cultural Relevance : Stresses the importance of understanding and integrating into the local culture, language, and systems] Multiplication of Capabilities: Highlights the necessity of multiplying capabilities and increasing capacity among disciples for sustainable ministry growth. Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 1 Chronicles 16:24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. This is why we do what we do and why we need your prayers of support. Jornel & Geetha Donate
