Missionary Liz Rojas DONATE Hi! I'm Liz Rojas, born and raised in Paraguay, South America. And starting 3 years ago, I'm in full-time missions with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). In 2019, I began my journey with YWAM. At first I served as a interpreter for teams from Kona who were sent to my country. In February of 2020 I enrolled in a DTS (Discipleship Training School) in São Paulo, Brazil with Fire & Fragrance Ministries. During my DTS the Lord stirred up in me, more and more of a love for the nations and passion for Jesus to say Yes to Him no matter where, even to the ends of the earth. After my DTS was over I stayed in Brazil for another season to serve at the base and in June of the same year, the opportunity arose to do an internship in South Africa, with Fire & Fragrance Ministries for 3 months. After that, I received the invitation to stay in full time missions for another season! It was a blast to serve that nation and it's people I just love South Africa. At this base, we were serving and working with the community, high schools, small groups with young girls, families as well as ongoing discipleship. It was such an honor to be part of what God is doing in South Africa and to witness the awakening for the first love of Jesus! Now, I'm back in Brazil continuing serving with YWAM in São Paulo. Our base focus is in training, equipping and sending missionaries to serve in the field. We also have other ministries such as Justice & Transformation which works with children in situations of risk, families from the local community, elementary schools and women in who are vulnerable. King's Kids is a short term camp-training for children and teenagers, Evangelism and English Classes which is designed to prepare our staff to learn and speak another language, break limitations and and be ready to take the opportunity to serve Jesus in other nations as well as taking the gospel to the ends of the earth! Besides this, now I have the opportunity of taking part in a secondary school here at the base. It is The School of Biblical Christian Worldview. It is a 3 months course, that aims to give us a Vision of the Kingdom of God through the influence and impact that Christ brings to all of society. Not only about individual salvation, but a profound and transformative impact in all areas (Family, Church, Education, Arts, Sports, Communication, Health, Business and Government). Missionary Kenna Franklin DONATE Dear Friends and Family, Since being home from the Philippines, I have felt God calling me to return to YWAM (Youth With A Mission) one more time to staff and lead another outreach team! After my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in 2022, my heart began to burn to see lost souls saved and Jesus' name known all over the world. I’ve seen Jesus move in incredible ways through the students at YWAM Kona and throughout both of my outreach trips, to Europe and the Philippines. This last outreach to the Philippines, my team had the opportunity to speak at high schools, pray and see healings, street evangelize, disciple teens and tell people about Jesus every single day! We saw over 700 salvations in our short three months! We saw Jesus move in mighty ways! I truly am so excited for this next season and feel God has something significant for the students coming and the countries YWAM will be visiting! I will be going back to Kona end of June. I’m currently hoping to raise $9,000 for the duration of these next 9 months. This will cover my cost of staffing in Kona and leading an outreach to another country. I am originally from Washington State and right after I graduated high school I decided to take my next steps in growing my faith and relationship with the Lord. I did that here on the YWAM Kona campus by doing a first level school called a Discipleship Training School. Since then I have been on staff discipling young missionaries as well as myself, to be well trained to serve in global missions. I am a part of the Fire and Fragrance DTS Least Reached school. We focus on reaching the nations that are closed off to Christians but by full faith and training go out and preach the name of Jesus to these hungry nations. I cannot do this alone. The Lord brought us together as we pursued Jesus and missions in Nepal at the 2025 Harvest School! The Lord began burning both of our hearts individually for missions in Asia as we were in ministry school. Cierrah attended YWAM’s “Fire and Fragrance” on Big Island, Hawaii, and Mark attended The Belonging Co. College in Nashville, TN. Missionary Summer Joiner DONATE Hi! My name is Summer Joiner and I am a full time missionary on staff with "Respect the Corners" at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona! While I was in my DTS, the Lord really marked my heart for Respect the Corners (RTC) and the heart behind their ministry. Respect the Corners exists to raise up God fearing men and women who are passionate about fitness and want to see the kingdom of Heaven come to earth through this avenue. We use crossfit to train our bodies to be able to be fit enough to trek Bibles in the High Himalayan mountains. The Lord is also using fitness for coaches to go into closed nations and use this as an avenue to preach the gospel! During DTS, t he Lord began to reveal to me more and more of who He has made me to be. It was during my times at RTC where I heard Him speaking to me and inviting me to go where He was leading me. During class one day, the Lord clearly spoke to me. He said to me, “Train women in grit and strength.” He has specifically given me these attributes to use them for His Kingdom and through RTC, I am able to train and disciple women to be doing the same. Missionary Alissa Moore DONATE Hi! My name is Alissa Moore, I’m 21 years old and live in Burnet, Tx. After years of trying to figure out my purpose in life, God has finally made it clear: Missions. These funds will help cover my living expenses for a 6 month period in which I will be attending YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona Hawaii. During that time I will be apart of community outreach, crises relief, intensive studies, and also international mission trips. This is a major step of obedience on my part, and it breaks my heart to leave home, but I know this is much better for me than I could imagine. When God says to go then the only response is yes. With that being said, I will be leaving in January and there is lots to do before then.
