Missionary Mateus & Nathalia De Paula DONATE My name is Mateus, I am Brazilian, married to Nathalia, and a father of two children, Ana Lucia (4) and Levi (1). We are full-time missionaries currently living in the north of Thailand, in the city of Mae Ai. I grew up in a Christian home, but at a certain point in my life I drifted away from God due to family struggles. It was during my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM that I had a personal encounter with Jesus that completely transformed my life. Since then, I have devoted my life to serving Him and being part of what He is doing among the nations. Today, we serve through the ministry The Tree of Life Thailand, working mainly with Buddhist communities. One of our main bases is a social center, where we offer guitar, English, arts, and soccer classes for children and teenagers. Through these activities, we build relationships and create opportunities to share the Gospel in a practical and accessible way. In addition, we walk alongside the local church, strengthening believers, discipling new converts, and visiting families. One of the most meaningful parts of our work is listening to the Bible in the local language together with Buddhist families, often for the very first time. We also invest time in closely supporting those who are beginning their journey with Jesus. We understand that this is long-term work. In a Buddhist context, results do not come quickly, but we believe God is working deeply in people’s hearts. Our desire is to see lives transformed, families reached, and a strong local church where Thai people are sharing the Gospel with their own people. MISSIONARY Lily Williams DONATE Hello! My name is Lily Williams, and I have been a missionary with YWAM & Circuit Riders for the past 4 years. After meeting the love of Jesus at age 14, I knew the only life worth living was one dedicated to follow and trust Him no matter what. I am the ever-learning product of what that looks like :) As a missionary with YWAM & Circuit Riders, our hope is to know God and make Him know by inspiring a generation to live and love like Jesus. In my work alongside YWAM & Circuit Riders, I have had the privilege of leading and training teams of young people to apply this command in their "everyday" lives, as well as in other nations. This past year I have been involved with YWAM as a student. I had the opportunity to do a DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Norway, an outreach to Jordan, and be a student in the Bible Core Course on Location, based in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is my first year serving with Youth with a Mission as a staff member, and I will be serving specifically with the BCC (Bible Core Course On Location) for the rest of 2023. This past year, I have developed a passion to know God and make Him known, especially through His Word. The Bible tells us who our God is, how He loves us, it tells us who we are, and it tells us how to treat other people. This is our goal with the BCC, we desire to see transformation through Biblical grounding and we want to encounter God in His Word. We want to see the Bible as the living word, so we go and study the Bible where it was written in the lands of Greece, Egypt, Israel, Turkey and Italy. We desire that this will be a time where students gain tools to study the Bible for the rest of their lives. My name is Jeff, and at the end of August on a one month notice I moved to Huntington Beach, California to become a full time missionary with The Circuit Riders. The Circuit Riders are a branch of a ministry called YWAM (Youth With A Mission), which is a global missions movement across over 180 countries in the world. The Circuit Riders focus specifically on reaching college and high school campuses with the love of Jesus each spring through their Carry The Love tour. Every fall they plan and prepare by creating deep relationships with students on the ground at their universities, developing a family, which is part of their focus as a grassroots movement. They then go out on tour from January to May all across America leading 2-day events where they hold a worship night and evangelism training on every campus. Overall, their heart is this…to meet the need of a lost and desperate generation with the love of Jesus. Where did all of this come to play a role in my life? In 2018, the Circuit Riders came to my campus for the first time and my concept on how to live like Jesus was changed forever. After that moment I knew something in my life had to change and that there was so much more to a personal relationship with Jesus than I had ever known. I then went to 21 Project (a one month Discipleship Training School) in the summer of 2018 in Costa Mesa, CA and I knew I would end up back in CA very soon. The next 2 years I helped host the Circuit Riders on my campus and stay heavily involved. This past year I graduated college and God called me out to California to now work full time with the Circuit Riders and it has been an amazing new season. I grew up in the Church, but I never knew I could have a real, personal relationship with Jesus until college. When I met the Circuit Riders, there was something different about them. And it wasn’t about their ministry or their name, but it was something they carried…an “all in” relentlessness, to see my generation meet Jesus. Since the first time I met them I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. Now here we are, I am living in California serving full time in this ministry. This summer I graduated college and was completely lost in what was next. I had 45 job applications that I hadn’t heard back from, my lease was about to be up, and I was unemployed. A mentor of mine reached out about joining CR and the Lord made it so clear it was his call on my life in this season. So, I left everything, moved everything I own across the country and I said yes to Jesus. I don’t know how long I’ll be here, but I do know this. That walking in the will of God is the only place I ever want to be. That said, in this season I am unemployed and constantly traveling. At this time, I am in need of support, both in prayer, encouragement, and finances. I know this is the lifestyle Jesus is calling me to, and God is teaching me how to trust Him like never before. MISSIONARY Mouminatou Thiaw DONATE All of my life, I’ve dreamed of a movement dedicated to the complete liberation and unity of this world. Liberation from trauma, oppression, slavery, greed, fear, and division. I came to the United States from Senegal when I was six with my siblings and thinking back on our lives here I’m filled with wonder by God’s protection over our lives. He made ways for my mom to raise us without wanting, with joy and love and it nurtured in me a burning creativity. 14 years later, I surrendered to Him and my dreams for a liberated world were accelerated. Now He’s opened a door for me to take action towards that dream. God’s timing is always perfect! I believe the liberation we seek is only possible through a world-wide Jesus movement that heals and restores every heart with God’s heart. Circuit Riders will give me the means to start changing the people I reach- healing and bringing faith where God moves through me. I want to help usher in a new world where people take pride in Jesus and choose to follow him as an excellent example of a revolutionary on a mission to change the world with unimaginable love and authority! I know that the media we consume constructs our ways of thinking about ourselves and others, and I hope to reroute our ways of thinking by creating media that holds the Glory of God so strong that people would consume it and know Him. I want leaders of the world to be leaders in faith as well. How amazing is it that these dreams I have for my life and the world are God dreams! He planted these desires in my heart, and this summer He said to me “Your media will bring faith to many.” I will be working towards these dreams as a multimedia artist in collaboration with Him, to see popular culture, entertainment, social media, music and fashion completely reformed with a foundation of a Jesus love and a purpose to represent the Kingdom of God. Missionary Alexa Jewel Lapid DONATE Hi! My name is Alexa Jewel and I send my deepest gratitude to you for being here. Over the past year, I have been living out one of the craziest adventures with Jesus which has ultimately ended in me waking up to the beautiful fact that He is calling me into missions. In the middle of my undergrad career at the University of Florida, I felt the Lord lead me away from pursuing the path to becoming a full-time architect after He told me He wanted me to be more available for His Kingdom. He then lead me to start my wedding filmmaking business, Alexa Jewel Films, which I was able to go full-time with last summer – an actual dream job, truly. But even past living out my dreams, checking off so much on my bucketlist, and watching God answer impossible prayers I've prayed for years, I remain deeply bothered by the fact that so many in the world are lost without hope. I’ve come to recognize one of the deepest burdens present in my heart is that I believe that Jesus is the most misunderstood out of all of us. The older that I grow, the deeper I fall in love with Him, and He has brought me to a point in my life where His Gospel is the most beautiful thing to me. I wish to spend my days sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the world through the products of my creativity, and begin to invite missions into that narrative. They are a branch of Youth with a Mission (YWAM) based in Huntington Beach, California, passionate about seeing the next generation of leaders know the love of Jesus. Starting October 2024, I will be taking classes in California learning more about God, before being sent out in January 2025 as a missionary to travel to university campuses all over America (or abroad) to most tangibly share Jesus’ love & His Gospel through worship nights and evangelism. I will be taking part in their music track where I will get to grow in my skills as a musician and learn how to lead worship well alongside my classmates. Because of this program, I will be taking a step back from my wedding business for these 6 months, to dedicate this season of my life to be a full-time missionary. Missionary Irene De Jager DONATE Hey friends! I am Irene de Jager and in January 2025, I did my DTS with Fire and Fragrance South Africa, and during that time God deeply changed my heart. He gave me a real love for His people and a passion for missions. While I was in Uganda for outreach, I had a moment that truly marked me. I realized in a deeper way that God loves everyone —without exception—and that every person deserves to know Him and to experience His love, just as we do. I encountered the heart of the Father in a powerful way, and now my desire is for others to experience that same love for themselves. I believe everyone deserves to hear the gospel, and I want to be God’s hands and feet wherever He wants me to be. Because of this, I feel called to step into full-time missions, trusting God to lead and guide each step. I know I can’t do this alone.
