From January to June 2025 I had the privilege of doing a DTS (Discipleship Training School) called Fire & Fragrance with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona, Hawaii and it completely transformed my life! During this time I encountered the Lord in such a real and personal way. His love changed me, I found my identity and my baptism was a public declaration of his love and even now shaping me into who He created me to be. These past months were full of life changing moments, quiet times was a massive untold blessing , being part of an incredible organization which provided friends, receiving amazing discipleship from leaders, experiencing powerful worship and making my own understanding of God better every single day !! I learned to recognize His voice daily, experienced healing, saw His presence in my own life and I found myself being able to enjoy sabbath rest. I grew in awe of the beauty of Christ and what it truly means to live like Him every day. Jesus became so real to me as I saw Him reveal Himself again and again in my life and in the lives of my friends. The Gospel came alive in a new way, I realized that He isn’t only Lord, but also my Savior and closest friend. Each day I’ve grown closer to Him and discovered more of what it means to follow Him. God also gave me clarity and a picture of my calling — to step out in obedience to the Great Commission: to “GO and make disciples.” Being able to listen and obey, I am blessed with the opportunity to keep pursuing God and to commit myself to making Him known! I’ll be continuing with YWAM, training to be on staff with Fire & Fragrance DTS in Kona for the next 2 years. As I step into this next season with YWAM Fire & Fragrance, I want to invite you to partner with me in what God is doing across the nations. Over these last months, I’ve experienced God’s love and power in ways that have completely changed me — and now I know He’s calling me to help others encounter Him the same way. Romans 10 says: “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? … How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” This is why I’m going. People can’t believe unless they hear the Gospel, and they can’t hear unless someone is willing to go. I believe God is sending me, and I want to be faithful to that calling. To make this possible, I need two things: prayer and financial partnership. First, I want to ask you to stand with me in prayer as I step forward on this journey. Over the past 6 months, I’ve seen God move not just in my own life, but through my friends, my classmates, my leaders, and even across the nations. I’ve seen how God answers prayer in His perfect timing, and I know He hears every single one of them. As YWAM Kona is a non-profit, being on staff isn’t a paid position. Every staff member is here out of obedience to what God has called us to do. In order to keep walking in that calling and continue discipling students, I need the support of people who are passionate about seeing Jesus made known in every nation. People who believe in raising up young men and women to live for Him and to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Missionary Mica Arre DONATE Hi friends!! I’m Mica & I’m 20 years old. I recently finished, in March, my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Fire and Fragrance at YWAM Kona. I spent 3 months in Kona learning to grow in deeper intimacy with Jesus, how to share the Gospel, studied how God is moving in different nations, and lived a lifestyle of consistent worship and intercession. We would have days where we would pray for specific countries, and I found myself weeping for countries I’ve never even heard of and hungry to learn more about these countries. I was marked for the nations. Then I was placed on an amazing team of 10 and we were sent to the Philippines for another 3 months where we did all different types of ministries such as High School Ministry, Door To Door/Street Evangelism, Prison ministry, Tribal Ministry, Red Light Ministry, and we stayed at an orphanage for 2 weeks. Jesus healed the paralyzed, restored identity, freed those who were captive to addictions, broke generational curses and He changed me in the process. We saw God move in the mountains, in the city, in the streets, in houses and in the hearts of the Filipino people! As I went back home after my DTS, I prayed and felt a strong pull to go back to Kona to staff a DTS this fall! That means I will first do a Leadership Track where I will train to be on staff for 3 Months starting in July. Then I will have a room of 9 girls that I will share a room with and will be discipling them starting at the beginning of October. Lastly, I will be leading a team as we are sent to a country somewhere in the Nations. Some are called to go, and some are called to send! MISSIONARY Alexis Guy DONATE I am serving as a missionary to the nations with Arise Global! I first felt the calling to be a missionary when I was 17 years old on my first overseas mission trip to Jamaica. Since then, my heart has only continued to burn for the world to encounter and experience Jesus in a real and personal way. I have been to nations like Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Zambia, and across Europe seeing people encounter the love of God and be transformed by His power and presence. Over the last ten years, I have taken countless short-term mission trips to 17 nations, completed a nine-month mission trip with World Race/Adventures in Missions, and did three years of training at Bethel School of Ministry in California. And for the last three years, I have been serving in full-time ministry with Arise Global! Arise Global is focused on equipping and strengthening the global body of Christ and on raising up a new wave of missionaries to bring the Kingdom of God around the world. We do this in part through a hybrid - online and in person, 7-month school we began in 2021, called Kingdom Culture and Personal Revival. Our heart is to see believers awakened to their true identity as sons and daughters who are equipped to live an empowered, transformed life in Christ and learn how to bring the kingdom of God to those around them. We currently have two schools - one in Romania and one in a closed country in East Asia. We travel to Eastern Europe and Asia about 5 times a year, hosting our in-person weekends for our schools, ministering to leaders and churches, and equipping the body of Christ to arise and shine in this region of the world! We are also focused on pouring into the lives of missionaries across the world through weekly online prayer and encouragement ministry sessions and in-person renewal retreats! Lastly, we have partnered with the local school of ministry to lead students on missions and revival trips to the nations every year, seeing more people activated and set on fire to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth! As part of the training department, she uses her passion for teaching to disciple and mentor others in their faith journeys. Her dedication to service, both in leadership and personal growth, has allowed her to build genuine relationships with people who share a deep commitment to Christ. Glazy is currently leading a DTS at YWAM Impact Philippines, where she guides a group of students through their lecture phase and outreach. Missionary Gabriella Chivers DONATE Hey! I'm Gaby Chivers, a full-time missionary currently serving at YWAM Kona, with the school Fire and Fragrance. Right now, YWAM is the largest missions-sending organization in the world. Our motto is: "to know God and make Him known". Our goal is to raise up laid-down lovers of Jesus who know the urgency of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) and want to be a part of seeing it fulfilled! We run several DTS's "discipleship training schools" which is where students are equipped before being sent out to the mission field. My DTS completely changed my life. I was hit with the revelation of the ownership that God has over my life, and the fact that my life is not my own. I received an impartation of God’s heart for the lost and now will forever carry a burden for those who don’t know Him. Therefore, I want to give my life to see the lost found, and the hopeless find hope!! God has brought me so much joy and freedom, and I want to see others step into the fullness of what is available to them in Him. I live in constant surrender to God, giving Him access to every area of my life. I truly believe that the Lord is my Shepherd (Psalm 23), and I allow Him to lead me, take care of me, direct my path, restore me from hurts and pain, and constantly saturate my life with the joy and peace that come from Him. I want others to know the loving Father and best friend that they have in God. This year, I am going to be leading a team of DTS students to the nation of South Africa! There, we will be serving the poor, working with widows and prostitutes, and really going after the hardest and darkest - just like Jesus did! My desire is to eventually do ministry in Canada, and raise up missionaries in Canada to go all over the world and reach the nations. Although that is my dream, I am entrusting God with my life and will go wherever it is that He ends up leading me. However, I do not get paid to do this job. Missionary Elliot Jones DONATE Hi!! I'm Elliot! I'm 20 years old and from Charlotte, NC. Ever since high school, God has put missions on my heart. It started when I first heard about Youth With A Mission and after prayerfully considering it, I ended up attending their Discipleship Training School in September 2024, and following that I attended their Discipleship Bible School in September 2025. God really transformed my life through those experiences, taking me from being a lukewarm Christian without a real personal relationship with Him, to showing me His faithfulness and mercy and what it truly looks like to walk out in faith and be called His daughter. I am so excited to announce that I will be serving for a year in Italy with Chad and Kameren Dalton who are missionaries there. I will be helping to share the love of Jesus in a small town called Urbino. I actually first met Chad and Kameren back in 2017 on my first trip to Italy and I remember being so inspired by them even then!! Seeing how involved they were and the work they were doing over there was just really encouraging and so cool to witness. They have been in Italy for over 10 years now and they have such a huge heart for the lost and for telling people about Jesus. I feel so blessed to get to go serve alongside them! Urbino is a university city with a ton of students but really not much of a Christian community there at all, so there is so much opportunity!! We will be opening a café to bring community to a place that really needs it. It is very common in Italy for cafés to have little to no community feel, without really allowing people to hang out and connect. I will be serving coffees and pastries, building connections, getting to know the people there, and helping facilitate worship nights, Bible studies, craft nights, and many more opportunities to build community. I am passionate about cultivating a space that is warm and welcoming, a place where people can experience the grace of God. I will be leaving early July - August to help start up the cafe and training. Prayers are greatly appreciated as I step into this next chapter of missions. Missionary Winston Rose DONATE Hello, I am Winston Rose. I am originally from Nashville, TN but have been serving with the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOPKC) as a full time “intercessory missionary” while participating in the One Thing Internship program. During this season I have served in the 24/7 prayer room that IHOPKC has operated for the past 24 years. It has been an amazing season of going deep in my walk with the Lord while being equipped to go out. The Lord is now calling me to go out into the nations. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to meet with Loren Cunningham, the founder of Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Over several days, I was able to visit with Loren and his wife Darlene and hear them share their hearts with a small group of leaders. These days marked me! As I have finished my internship at IHOPKC, I have felt the Lord confirm that a season of training with YWAM is the next step. I have applied and been accepted to the Fire and Fragrance Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Kona, HI. The school starts this January. As the Lord has opened the doors for the next season with YWAM, I believe He will use the DTS to both take me deeper in discipleship and equip me to serve in the nations. Will you partner with me? For my IHOPKC internship, I had some amazing provision come in to cover the cost of the internship. This provision, together with my savings, covered my IHOP tuition, housing and living expenses for my time in Kansas City.
