Our Mission: Marine Reach New Zealand is a pioneering, missional community of people with a shared desire to show God’s compassion to those who are overlooked, forgotten, and vulnerable around the world, especially in New Zealand and the islands of the South Pacific. This desire compels us to: Raise up a new generation of pioneering leaders through biblical training and discipleship, provide healthcare services to those in need, and establish new missions centers in isolated communities across the Pacific. I came to do my Discipleship Training School with YWAM Marine Reach in January 2020, and I have been with them ever since. During my lecture phase, I felt God give me a vision for future missions. Missionary Kacy Monroe DONATE My name is Kacy Monroe, and I am planning on attending Youth With A Mission (YWAM) this upcoming Fall of 2024 for Discipleship Training School! I will be focused on learning deeper discipleship skills, Bible knowledge, and seeing the call of the Great Commission be fulfilled in the nations! Since I got saved, I've felt a calling to reach the unreached, and see God's kingdom be advanced. It started when I got super involved with the student ministry at church and became a student leader. I started to see the fruits in my life in that my heart-posture was to constantly be making disciples! I would try to bring new friends to church every week, and eventually even started a Bible study of my own that I led for a bit. My youth pastor at the time told me that he saw so prevalently this calling on my life to be a missionary, and that I have a mission-focused heart. He told me about YWAM and how he went there and encouraged me to look into it! After lots of thorough research and prayer, the older I got the more I dreamed of going there and kick starting my future into full-time missions. I have also had an interest in Labor and Delivery Nursing/ Midwifery for quite some time now as well, and my goal is to use my unique interest in that realm to advance God's kingdom by doing Midwifery and women's ministry focused missions! I plan on attending the Life Bearers track at YWAM, and learning more about women's health and unique capabilities, as well as maternal health skills to reach the unreached in developing-world countries where they don't have the same resources. This upcoming fall-spring, I plan on learning as much as I can about God, the Bible, discipleship, as well as women's health. After attending a DTS at YWAM Kona this fall, I plan on applying to the Birth Attendant School in YWAM Perth in Australia to further my education in ministry, missions, and Midwifery for the following two years. My objective is to see women and children of God in the nations get the resources they need to lower the percentage of death in childbirth each year, and most importantly to see the radical change in people's lives as the great commission is fulfilled. This season has been one of preparation and deep prayer. All my past experience in church leadership, ministry, and theological research has brought me to one conclusion- the world is a broken place, and the simple gospel of Jesus must be brought to each and every nation, every tribe and tongue, and every corner of the earth in order to bring light and love to the world. Each and every soul matters, Jesus died for every person to be reached! I am looking for brothers and sisters to join me in prayer, and/or contributing to a monthly or one-time donation. I grew up in a Christian family which was always on fire for God, but when I was 12 I had a personal encounter with God’s love and that changed everything. It made me passionate about that Jesus who I encountered in my home when I was 12. I then finished my university and felt God was saying it’s time for you to go out, so I have been in London over 4 years working full time with YWAM. I believe God is doing something great here in London, some people call it revival. I guess for me, it’s easier to think that people get to encounter Jesus personally, people get to encounter His love and that love would change everything for sure. Missionary Charlise Brossard DONATE Hi y'all, my name is Charlise! I grew up in a Christian home my whole life, but it wasn't until I was in middle school that I had a desire to pursue the Lord on my own, and no longer rely on my parent's faith. I immediately fell into a mindset of thinking that I needed to complete a sort of "to do list", so that the Lord would love me, but I was very wrong. It wasn't until the Lord met me at a very low point in life, when I was struggling with sexual sin and self-hatred, that I realized that God desired a personal relationship with me and loved me more than I ever could imagine. Since then, the Lord has helped me walk in my journey of restoration, healing, freedom and purity. I have grown so much in my intimacy with Him and in my love for others, and now I am on a journey to becoming a long-term missionary. I have a heart to see others experience the transforming and unlimited love of God, like I did. I recently finished doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM, in Kona Hawaii, where I spent three months learning more about the Lord and how to share the gospel with others, after which I spent three months on an outreach in the Philippines. When I was in the Philippines, I was able to experience the Lord's heart in a way that I never had before. I was able to feel His overwhelming love for the Philippines and how much God truly cares about each and every Filipino, and desires to meet every single one of them in such a personal and loving way. Now, I am continuing my journey with YWAM, and I will be going back to Kona Hawaii to attend a Leadership Training School as preparation to staff there for 2 years. This school is an official YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Discipleship Training School run through the ministry of Circuit Riders. During my time at the school I will spend three months in Huntington Beach for our lecture phase. This phase will contain daily training sessions, corporate prayer and worship, weekly outreaches, small group discipleship, and hands-on skill set training that will equip me to reach my generation with the gospel. Following the lecture phase we will spend 3 months on outreach. This outreach is called Carry The Love. This is a campaign that is geared towards reaching the university campuses of America and the nations. On this outreach we will hold evangelistic events, do one on one evangelism, hold evangelism training, lead small groups, and serve local communities across America and Europe. Recently, I also stepped into the role of one of the youngest leaders in our organization. I encountered Jesus through missionaries in 2010 and grew up in a small church on the outskirts of Tirana.
