My name is Zeke Hutt and I am planning to serve at a Youth With A Mission(YWAM) base in Muizenberg, South Africa, as a staff member for their Discipleship Training School(DTS) this fall, 2025! YWAM’s vision is to see young people go from every nation, to every nation, to spread the Gospel to people that are unreached! I grew up going to church and a Christian school, but really started a personal relationship with the Lord in high school. During my senior year of high school I felt God leading me to do a DTS with YWAM in the fall of 2023! This school was amazing and I learned so much about Jesus and what it looks like to live life with Him! My outreach was to South Africa, where my team and I did lots of kids and student ministry, along with sports, and homeless ministry! During this season my heart for South Africa continued to grow! God has opened doors for me to go back to YWAM in South Africa as a short term member of their team, to staff a DTS and co-lead an outreach! I will be involved in student discipleship, leading a small group of guys, and guiding the students as they encounter the Lord in an intense season! Missionary Alley Miltko DONATE Hello! So glad you are here! I am so excited to share with you what God has been doing in my life and the ministry I am currently in. I have been walking with The Lord since the beginning of January, 2020. The gospel was preached to me for the first time in college and Jesus has saved my life! He set me free from substances, addiction, depression, spiritual bondage and gave me true life in Christ. I have been so radically changed that I have this burning passion to let the whole world know about the wonders of Jesus and bring healing to those who are far from Him. I recently joined YWAM, which is a missionary training school to help launch me into the mission field. Since joining in April, 2022, I have received a 3-month course training and a 3-month field mission in South Sudan. After returning, I decided to join a pioneering team to start a base in Mombasa Kenya. Our team vision is to “save the lost, revive the saved, and disciple them all.” Some of our team goals include: • Establish a base to live in and house other missionaries for future short-term missions • Enroll in language courses to bridge the cultural gap and form trust between locals • Build a prayer a room (for us and locals) • Partner with local churches in mercy ministries (rebuilding the community, feeding the poor, helping the hopeless) • Reviving the local churches in discipleship and sound doctrine • Reach the unreached muslims and disciple people into the knowledge of Jesus • Training and teaching Kenyan believers in discipleship/evangelism. • Build an NGO that will help the community and give us an opportunity to enter into Somalia I desire to see lives radically changed and set free by the power of God and to make Jesus known to all who seek Him. Only God can change this world for the better and I want to partner in His great plan, but I can’t do it alone. I need a team of people who will partner with us in prayer and support. I met Jesus in a Teen Challenge in Minnesota 2 years ago and since then have been set free from a 7 year heroin addiction. Since then I’ve never been the same and my heart burns for people to know Jesus! I am in a missions training school right now with YWAM and just got back from a 3 month Discipleship Training School and a 3 month Outreach to New Zealand and The Cook Islands where we worked with the youth in Schools, churches, and camps sharing the love of Jesus through testimonies, messages, skits, and much more. Missionary Ashton Black DONATE Hello Family and Friends, My name is Ashton black; I am so excited about this next season of my life. In January, I am embarking on an exciting journey with YWAM Mission School (Youth With A Mission). I’ll be gone for 6 months studying in Kona, Hawaii, and other places around the world. I’m joining the Discipleship Training School of YWAM, where I will be learning to study the Bible, teach others, and do kingdom work in God's name. After three months, I will be sent to another country where we will be doing hands-on missionary work and spreading the Gospel for three months. I am very excited about this opportunity to grow in my faith and share God’s love with others. I am asking for your help through prayers and generous financial support. My school will be split into two phases: Lecture and Outreach, I am asked to raise money for multiple necessities. For the first phase of this journey, I will be spending three months learning what God’s calling is for me and what field of work He has in store and also connecting with God on a more personal note. Missionary Matthew Gibson DONATE Hi! My name is Matthew Gibson. In January 2025 I will be going to South Africa to serve as a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). My mission is to disciple young people to be biblically literate ambassadors of God's kingdom in every sphere of today's society. I joined YWAM at the beginning of 2023, and by the end of 2024, I will have spent two years being trained at and sent from their base in Kona, Hawaii. One of the schools I did in Kona was the School of Biblical Studies (SBS), which is a nine month intensive Bible school designed to lead students through an inductive study of all 66 books of the Bible. My time in SBS was the most enriching, transformative, and foundational season of my life as the Word of God became alive to me in a new and powerful way. Following SBS, I had the opportunity to go to South Africa for two months on an outreach. During my time in South Africa, God marked my heart for the people there, and I got to visit YWAM's Fire & Fragrance base in the city of Potchefstroom. This Fire & Fragrance base is pioneering an SBS that will begin in February 2025, and I will have the privilege of being one of the volunteer staff for this school. I am very excited to lead other students through the school that so significantly impacted my own life, and I am expectant for what God wants to do in South Africa and beyond through this SBS. Missionary Tomy Phillips DONATE Hey everyone. My name is Tomy Phillips. Currently, I am a part of Youth with a Mission (YWAM), registered for Lakeside, Montana partaking in the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). In 2022, God made it clear to me to spend a season as a part of YWAM. I signed up, went to YWAM Kona, and completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS). During DTS, God drew me closer to His heart. He worked in my heart, healing pains that I had carried since I was a child. One thing God worked on was the idea of love and the misconception of how to be loved. God showed me His unconditional love, that He has loved us before we could do anything to earn it. I want to share that love with the world. As part of my DTS, I was sent as a missionary to Gambia, Africa for almost 3 months. During this time I fell in love with missions and spreading the Gospel. I feel like my purpose is to tell people about God and be a light in a world desperately needing more of God. In this season, God has called me to grow my foundation upon Him. SBS is a nine-month school that studies all 66 books of the Bible to provide a firm biblical understanding applicable to life. Going to SBS will provide knowledge that will influence how to live my life, make decisions, and interact with others. The school will equip me with the tools needed to give God's Word to others. Psalm 119:10-11 - “With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” God has called me to know Him more, knowing His word to have the endurance and faith to live for God wherever He takes me. Missionary Jimmy Sovocool DONATE Hey! I’m Jimmy Sovocool! I’m currently serving on staff at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Lancaster, PA. I am leading mobilization tours across the United States to see Gen Z set free from bondage and catalyzed to live missional lifestyles. I will also be staffing training schools to raise up the next generation of missionaries, leading morning worship on campus, and facilitating discipleship. I grew up in a Christian home but I never truly had a relationship with Jesus, I knew of Him but I didn’t know Him. However, when I was 20 years old, I radically encountered Jesus and I’ve never been the same! He set me free from bondage and filled me with a passion and hunger to know Him more! I have grown so much in my faith over the last several years and I’ve seen God move in powerful ways through the various seasons I’ve walked through. Why become a missionary? In the summer of 2019, about 6 months after my encounter with Jesus, I began to desire to do something more with my life, something that had eternal value. After praying about what I should do, the Lord put a strong desire on my heart to do missions. I found out about YWAM and proceeded to join and do training in January of 2020. Unfortunately, that season was cut short by Covid-19 but I knew that the Lord wanted me to continue in missions some day. Fast forward to 2024, I again felt the call to go into missions. After praying and receiving several confirmations from God, I left my career in business and joined YWAM Lancaster as a full-time missionary. It has been the best decision of my life and I’ve seen God move so powerfully and I’ve seen so many lives changed for eternity! My dream is to see Jesus’ name exalted in all the nations of the earth and for every people group, tribe, and language to declare that Jesus Christ is Lord (Malachi 1:11). A few prayer requests: • Boldness and courage to keep walking by faith and walking in obedience. • A humble and teachable heart. • Divine appointments to minister to people who don’t know Jesus and to share the hope of the Gospel with them.
