For the last three years I participated in YWAM’s Discipleship Training School [DTS] and leadership training in Kona, a discipleship program that equips young adults to go out into the nations to spread the gospel and share how God has changed our lives. The first half of the training each year was our Lecture Phase—with classes and a focus on worship and interceding for nations and people groups. The second half of our training was the Outreach Phase. After completing YWAM leadership training in the fall of 2023, it was my honor to serve as a staff member for the first Brave Love Discipleship Training School. Brave Love is an all-women’s ministry. It is a growing movement and network of women seeking to awaken other women to their deep significance and purpose in God. I was able to disciple young women from 2024 to 2026, and lead teams to Africa and Fiji. This past spring I completed Principles of Redeeming Culture School and will be joining Island Breeze Ministries for the foreseeable future. Island Breeze International is an impactful ministry that has been sharing the gospel through the arts and culture since it was established in 1980. We're not "bringing Jesus" anywhere rather, we are "discovering Him" everywhere! We use beautiful cultural expressions and Polynesian dance to tell Bible stories and share the gospel in ways that reach indigenous people. Island Breeze is a large ministry with many facets, one of which is the responsibilty for teaching the Principles of Redeeming Culture School through the University of the Nations in Hawaii, South Africa, and New Zealand. I am stepping into the role of a full-time missionary, and I will need people to walk along- side to offer support. Missionary Jaiden Harris DONATE I have an awesome opportunity to grow in my faith and share the Gospel both across the nation and internationally. Recently, I was accepted into a 6-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kona, Hawaii. God has opened the door for me to be trained, equipped, and sent out to make Him known around the world. For the first 3 months, I'll be learning how to hear God's voice, deepen my understanding of Scripture, grow in my identity, and be prepared to serve others. The training includes ministry nights, outreach in the local community, and living life alongside people who are hungry for more of God. The second half of the program is focused on international outreach, where I'll travel with a team to serve and share the love of Jesus with people across the globe. We'll minister to both spiritual and practical needs in areas where the Gospel is needed most. YWAM is a missions organization dedicated to knowing God and making Him known. The Endeavor track I'll be part of is designed to help young people like me live boldly for Jesus and be activated into real, world-changing ministry. Missionary Evan Jakubowski DONATE Hi friends! My name is Evan Jakubowski :) I'm from Minneapolis, Minnesota and I've been a missionary for the better part of 4 years now! Jesus radically delivered me from a life of addiction and called me into a life of missions when I was 19 years old. I did my first Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Brisbane, Australia through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) back in 2019. The love of God completely changed my life while I was there; gripping my heart for missions and lighting a fire in me to pursue the Lord with everything I've got, sharing His transformative unconditional love and leading as many people into relationship with Him as I can! I went back to serve with YWAM for a few more years, staffing DTS's, mentoring students, leading outreaches, organising ministries, and much more. I was able to see and be a part of many miraculous healings, many people giving their lives to the Lord, freedom and restoration in families and communities, and many many lives being touched and transformed all by the unmatchable power and love of Jesus! I now believe God is calling me to attend Lifestyle Christianity University (LCU) before I serve with YWAM again. LCU is an equipping program/ministry school designed to disciple you in your God-given identity and equip you to extend the love of Jesus in your day-to-day life. I will be learning how to better share the love of God everywhere I go and with everyone that I meet, making my faith a lifestyle. A lifestyle of generosity, a lifestyle of ministry and helping those in need, a lifestyle of evangelism, a lifestyle of Holy Spirit power and ushering in encounters with a loving miraculous God, and a lifestyle of selfless sacrificial love for those around me. I will be learning a lot, but I will also be a part of many mercy ministries and evangelistic ministries. I will be ministering to people nearly everywhere I go on a daily basis (hence making it a lifestyle). My hope in doing this school is to take everything that God teaches me and instills in me during this season and apply it in future missions both locally and overseas in the years to come. My heart is to represent Jesus in the best way that I can to this lost and dying world, being a conduit for Him to flow through to bring hope, healing, freedom, redemption, restoration, life, and joy! I believe He wants to do this through all of us. I believe He wants to do this through YOU! Missionary Kole Damkoehler DONATE Hi friends! My name is Kole Damkoehler, and I currently serve as a missionary with Circuit Riders. Throughout my four years in college, God continually burdened my heart to see this generation reached with the love of Jesus. I saw firsthand how many students were searching for purpose, identity, and hope, and I became convinced that the gospel is the only answer. Circuit Riders is a mission’s movement that exists to reach this generation by saving the lost, reviving the saved, and training them all. Through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development, we partner with local churches and campuses to see students become lifelong followers of Jesus. I had the privilege of spending my first year after college serving as a tour leader in New England. Alongside my co-leaders, I coordinated with hundreds of students, pastors, and local leaders to lead a team of 13 missionaries on a two-month outreach across the region. Together, we hosted worship nights, evangelism trainings, leadership gatherings, and ministry events at more than 20 universities, encouraging students to boldly follow Jesus and become leaders on their own campuses. This past year has only deepened my conviction that God has called me to this work. Time and again, I have experienced His faithfulness and His invitation to step out in greater faith. Because of that, I have committed to another year with Circuit Riders, where I will continue leading teams of young adults as we bring the gospel to high schools and college campuses across the nation. I believe God is moving powerfully among this generation, and I am humbled to be a small part of what He is doing. Missionary Tatum Hayward DONATE Hi, my name is Tatum Hayward, I’m partnering with BASIC College Ministries to serve college students and local churches through worship, discipleship, and evangelism. My heart is to see young people encounter Jesus in a real and personal way, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where students can experience the presence of God and grow in confidence in their relationship with Him. I believe worship is more than music; it is an opportunity for people to know Jesus personally and walk in freedom. Through BASIC College Ministries, I’ll be traveling to different college campuses to help lead worship and serve at ministry gatherings and outreach events. Missionary David & Sharissa St John DONATE Helping People Encounter God Through the Bible and Education in South Africa From training Bible school students to shaping young children through Christian education, our heart is to see lives and families impacted by the truth of Scripture.We have the privilege of living this out daily as we serve with Fire and Fragrance South Africa (FFSA). David is originally from the UK and first came to South Africa to attend a Discipleship School with FFSA. After completing that school and two further Bible schools, he now serves on the Bible Department team and currently leads FFSA's three-month Bible School. This Bible School runs from September to December each year and helps students understand the full story of God throughout Scripture. Each year we hope to welcome around 50 students and walk with them on a transformative journey to encounter God through His Word and become confident in sharing the story of the Bible with others. Outside of the school, David also serves on the Bible Department team, helping strengthen biblical literacy within our community by developing curriculum, teaching, and helping people engage more deeply with Scripture. Before coming to South Africa, David spent seven years teaching in China after university. It was there that God powerfully met him, turned his life around, and gave him a deep love for the nations and for His Word. It is now a privilege to use that teaching gift to help others encounter God through the Bible. Sharissa’s Work Sharissa is from Pretoria and serves as the principal of Rooted Christian Academy , a preschool in Potchefstroom that was planted out of the FFSA community. Although the school is still in its early years, the vision is to be a light in the city , helping families encounter the love and truth of God through education that is holistic and Spirit-led. At Rooted Christian Academy, the children grow spiritually as well as academically. Missionary Graham Family DONATE Welcome to the Graham Family mission. Scott, Megan, and Leila joined YWAM in 2017, doing their DTS in Kona, Hawaii. Since then God has done a lot with them. After DTS, they stayed in Kona for another 18 months to train coaches in evangelism through fitness, built a new gym facility, built container classrooms for the campus, discipled students through building management, and took a Discipleship Bible Course, where Megan studied and read through the Bible in 3 months. At the end of those 18 months, God called them to Potchefstroom, South Africa to join Fire and Fragrance South Africa to build out a program called Respect The Corners, which is a ministry that uses CrossFit, sport and fitness to share the Gospel, make disciples, and assists in Bible distribution in hard to reach closed nations. The Grahams have now been in South Africa for 5 years, training coaches, building a CrossFit Gym to facilitate coaches training, distributing audio Bibles, 840 to-date, and assisting in Bible training for other missionaries in YWAM. Our heart and goal is to train and send CrossFit gyms and coaches into the 10/40 window to reach the last, the lost, and the least that have never heard the Gospel. CrossFit coaches have the ability to get into closed nations and build organic relationships with local people, which builds paths for the Gospel to be shared. Gyms give us the ability to distribute Bibles to those locations that are hard to reach and off the radar.
