Hi! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Â
My name is Jenny Sathre.                                                                                                                                                               Â
I have been serving the Lord in various ministries for over 30 years. My life has been immersed in deep prayer, joining my efforts to the Father's heart for the poor. The Lord is so good to share what He wants if we just ask Him. He has given me a heart for all people, all ages and in all of life's circumstances. Because of this, local missions and serving the disenfranchised in various ways has been a very normal life for me. Sharing, of course, the Gospel as I go. I believe my whole life has prepared me and trained me for this call to The Nations House of Prayer Houston.                                                                                                                      Â
Why the Nations House of Prayer you may ask?   Â
Â
First I heard the Lord clearly asking me if I would move to Houston for HIM and serve with the Nations House of Prayer. My Yes is all it took for things to start coming together. After much prayer and seeking to make sure It was not just my excitement for a 24/7 House of prayer developing in Houston, He confirmed it over and over again. The Nations House of Prayer and Coreluv's dedication to reaching the orphaned and widowed (James 1: 27) giving selflessly of themselves, planting orphanages in Haiti, serving orphans in South Asia, breaking ground in Honduras soon, and now following the leading of the Lord with a House of Prayer in Houston. As well as a coming soon joining of a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) training base in the same building made my knowing for sure this is where I belonged.                                                                            Â
To sit before the Lord seeking what he wants for the Nation's House of Prayer is my most treasured privilege. Like Anna, a widow who served in the Tabernacle all her life took great joy in the waiting of the Savior of the world. I too, with you all, wait for His great return. But my waiting is not sitting still all the time! I love that the Nations House of Prayer is the Local arm of Coreluv! Serving the children right here in Houston's 3rd ward!  Â
Â
Just a few statistics:Â Â
                                                                                   Â
• 50% of the 3rd ward face food insecurity.    Â
Â
• 65% of the children that live here are from single parent homes.                              Â
Â
• It is the #1 worst city in the US to be a single parent.                                                                                                                   Â
Missions as a whole has my heart and I look forward to the many local outreaches connecting with many ministries and Local bodies of Christ to bring the Gospel to Houston starting in the 3rd ward and moving out from there. As Pastor Mike Reiszner on one occasion said, "From the 3rd ward to the 3rd world!" Â I believe this will be an epicenter to the whole nation and the whole world. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
I am excited that at this stage of my life that God's plan for me continues! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Â
Ephesians 1:4 says "And in love he chose us before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in His eyes with an unstained innocence."
As stated in Esther : He has saved me for such a time as this!                                                   Â
Here is one of my most favorite verses: " How beautiful (happy) upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news! Who proclaims peace! Who brings glad tidings of good things! Who proclaims salvation! Who says to Zion, Your God Reigns! " Isaiah 52:7 (My feet are very happy!)            Â
Â
Here is my question: Will you partner with me in prayer for Nations House of Prayer and myself? Â
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me financially either in a one-time gift or in an ongoing monthly manner? Your financial help will allow me to focus on what the Lord is doing in Houston and the Nations from right here.  Â
These funds will help with:
Â
 • The additional unexpected monthly bills in my move here.
                                                                                Â
 • Savings for Missions trips.
Â
• Any unexpected needs, personal, Gas, Groceries, etc. Â
Â
I want to thank you all for your continued friendship and prayers. God Bless each and everyone of you.
Â
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
