My name is Arden Rivero. I have been a full time  missionary from the Philippines for four years now.

The Philippines has 7600 islands.

The main three islands are Manila, Cebu and Davao. 

I am located in Cavite. This is three hours away from Manila. In the South part of the Philippines.

I grew up in an orphanage. My parents were separated when I was 5 years old. In the orphanage I got to know Jesus. A lot of missionaries from Youth With A Mission Kona were visiting us that time. That's when I got introduced and exposed to missions.

When I was a little kid I prayed a lot but when I  grew up I turned away from the Lord. I started to question why I was brought to the orphanage. I got angry at God and my parents. 

In 2018 I prayed to God to use me again. In 2020 I joined Youth With A Mission base  in Cavite.

During my time with the base God gave me a heart for feeding the hungry children of the Philippines. I had experienced being hungry and homeless.  

Through the feeding program, many children are happy that they are getting to know God and they are able to express themselves in prayers and singing worship songs. And they get to experience eternal hope and joy in Christ. The goal of this children ministry is to have bases in all the Philippine islands. 

In order to continue my ministry, I am currently building a team of investors who will give $1000 a month, which will allow me to fully serve what God is doing on the islands of the Philippines.
