I first felt the presence of the Lord in 1999 and was immediately ruined for anything less than ALL of Him. His friendship was so good I began wondering what my part could be in reaching people with the love I had encountered. As I sought Him, I began to sense a call to missions that was first confirmed in 2003 on a trip to Ukraine. Since then, the Lord has cultivated within me a heart for motherless children, a passion to pastor all generations into intimate connection with Jesus, and to carry a portal to the eternal hope in Jesus to those who feel like they are drowning in grief. I have been to Uganda, South Africa, Israel, Cambodia, Mexico, Haiti, Vietnam and across Europe seeing people encounter the love of God and be transformed in His presence. I am now working in full time ministry after doing countless short-term mission trips over the last 22 years, 15 years of dedicated work as a nurse in pediatric oncology and three years of Bethel School of Ministry. As a staff member at Bethel, I get to invite a team of financial supporters to partner with me in the ministry we are doing to reach the nations. Missionary Sarah Newhard DONATE Hi friends! I'm Sarah Newhard, a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona, Hawaii. I'm a part of a community called Fire & Fragrance, which is focused on training and sending Gen-Z to the nations to share the Gospel. We want to develop young leaders that carry fire in their hearts for Jesus that becomes the fragrance of Christ to the lost. We long to know God and make Him known throughout the whole world. We believe Jesus is the desire of the nations and only He can bring light and restoration to the darkest places. A little over 2 years ago, I had an encounter with Jesus that entirely changed my life. In a moment He set me free from years of anxiety and depression, showing me a fullness of life and joy I had never known before. He began to stir my heart for more of Him, so in January of 2023 I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Kona, and that's where Jesus truly set my heart on fire for missions. I had the opportunity to spend 3 months on outreach in Colombia, where I saw firsthand the power of the Gospel to bring freedom and healing to the lost and broken. During those 6 months, I truly came to know that Jesus is worthy of everything and there's no sweeter place to be than in the center of His will for my life. During my DTS, I felt the Lord calling me to come back and work on staff with YWAM, helping to disciple and equip other young people in their callings. So, last fall I went back to Hawaii and spent 3 months in leadership training, 3 months discipling students, and 3 months leading an outreach team to Papua New Guinea. During my time in PNG I learned and grew so much in dependency on the Lord. I got to see the Lord move not only in the people of PNG, but also in my students as they stepped out in faith and boldness, preaching the Gospel in villages, markets, schools, and hospitals. It was truly the most beautiful season of growth and falling even more deeply in love with Jesus. This fall I’m very excited to be heading back to YWAM to staff another year! From September-December I’ll be in South Africa doing leadership training at the YWAM base in Potchefstroom. After that I hope to head back to Kona for 3 months, where I’ll lead the Fire and Fragrance School again, and after that I’ll lead another 3 month outreach to a different nation. I am so expectant for what the Lord wants to do this year in the nations and am so honored to be a part of the story He’s writing. I've personally seen the power of the Gospel radically transform my life and set me free, and I believe God wants to do the same for all of His children. Missionary Minou Andrianjaka Nahary DONATE My name is Andrianjaka Nahary Minou, and I am 33 years old from Madagascar. I grew up in a humble family and experienced many hardships during my childhood. Together with my seven siblings, we faced difficult circumstances and often lacked many of the things we needed. As I look back on my life, I can see how God has been guiding me and shaping my heart. Through my own experiences, I have developed a deep compassion for children who are growing up in poverty and difficult situations, just as I did. I believe God is calling me to serve as a missionary and to bring hope, encouragement, and practical support to children and families in need. To prepare for this calling, I am currently attending the Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Muizenberg, South Africa. Through DTS, I am growing in my relationship with God, learning more about His purpose for my life, and being equipped to serve others effectively. As part of DTS, I will participate in an outreach mission where I will have the opportunity to share God’s love, serve communities, and support people both spiritually and practically. Radiant School of Ministry (RSM) is a ministry school through Radiant Church that is designed to train and send pioneers with a heart for revival. The RSM LAUNCH program is a remote program for working adults across the United States to provide the training and practical ministry experience they need to pursue God’s call to vocational ministry. Through online classes, retreats and weekly peer group meetings, students will be equipped to walk in their calling and ministry with Jesus. MISSIONARY Francis & Andrea Frizelle DONATE Francis & Andrea have been on the mission field ever since getting married over ten years ago (and both had missions experience prior to that!) and can currently be found in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala in Central America. Locally, they now work with Pure Joy Missions ( www.purejoymissions.org ) helping kids, teens and the elderly who are most in need in the community. They have previous experience working with Youth With A Mission ( www.ywam.org ) helping mums' and mens' ministries, distributing Bibles, feeding the homeless, running discipleship training, and more. Their experience also includes helping with hosting short-term teams, managing base finances, heading up communications, and other administrative work. Missionary Haley Royster DONATE Hi! My name is Haley Royster and I am a full time missionary with YWAM(youth with a mission) in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. YWAM's heart is to "know God", and to "make Him known". And I have found that the same goes for my heart. I want everyone to know who the true living God is and to have the chance to have a relationship with Him. I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in January of 2023, which consisted of the first 3 months in Kona, Hawaii and the second 3 months in Cambodia. In Kona I met the Lord for who He truly is, for the first time in my life. Instantly He captured my heart. As we learned about the Lord and had our own encounters with Him, my heart grew more and more, and I realized that this was what I was made for. In Cambodia our main ministries were children's ministry, English teaching, and soccer ministry. This was my first time out of the country and it was an incredible first experience. At the end of the 3 months, I felt very sad to leave. I absolutely loved ministering to the people and country of Cambodia and I wanted to stay longer. The Lord soon after revealed to me that he had called me to be in ministry full time and to go back to YWAM Kona as a staff. Of course I agreed. As I look back on those past 6 months, I was reminded of how much peace, unity, love, community, joy, hope, grace, and forgiveness I had experienced. I had never had a season of my life filled with all of those things before. And I was so thankful for it. Now, I am returning as a staff to lead students through the same experience that I just went through. My heart burns for God's people to know Him fully, and that's a big part of what I'll be doing as a staff. I am helping disciple these students and helping encourage them to follow the Lords path. I am extremely excited to be taking this next step with the Lord and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
