After earning my biomedical engineering degree from USC, the Lord called me to become a missionary. MISSIONARY Lucas & Karen McCloud DONATE Our names are Karen and Lucas McCloud and we are full-time missionaries with an organization called, Circuit Riders (YWAM), which is one of the largest global missions organizations. We are motivated by the needs of the world through the compassion of Jesus’ heart. We are a national family of activists and creatives who are obsessed with reaching our generation with Jesus’ love and catalyzing change. MISSIONARY John & Laurie Elliot DONATE My name is John Elliot (Canadian). My wife Laurie (American) and I have been in Christian service in Japan since 1979, first with a mission organization, and since 2018 with The Japan Evangelical Church Association (JECA). We have spent most of that time in Ajigasawa, a small west coast town in Aomori Prefecture, on the northern tip of Honshu. JECA is a fellowship of some 200 independent churches, spread over the entire length of Japan. JECA is theologically conservative and Bible-based. Ajigasawa Gospel Church was opened in 1961 by a missionary. Missionaries served here for 4 years, then the small group was handed over to the care of a JECA church in the nearby city of Goshshogawara. This church asked us to help. We moved to Ajigasawa in 1985 and took over the small house church. In 1995, we were able to buy a plot of land, and build a church and pastor’s house. There are no other churches for a 50-60 minutes drive to the north and east, and for 3 hours to the south (west is the Sea of Japan). The population of our town and neighboring Fukaura, to the south, is 20,000. We have 9 members from the 2 towns, and some adherents as well. Not much to show for all those year’s work? Welcome to Japan. This is the reality here. So- What are we doing? Primarily, we stand by the faithful Christians and assist them in spiritual growth and evangelism. I did monthly children’s meetings in several locations for 20 years, until school amalgamations (from 12 schools to 2) made that impractical. We have special meetings and English classes to reach out to the community. Our 5 children attended local schools, and one of our daughters married a farmer here, so we have grandchildren in school now. My wife is preparing to write a book about passing on the faith to one’s family. This is an area of need here. The book will be her master’s thesis. She has many opportunities to reach out to students in her university. Our small congregation is unable to provide a full pastor’s salary. I do part-time work to supplement my income. Missionary Deondria Taylor DONATE Hey! Thanks for visiting my giving page. I’m Deondria, a mom, and a lover of Jesus. God has blessed me with many gifts, including creativity, encouragement, and intercessory prayer. Previously, I served as a creative in various church capacities and have skills in graphic design and tech production. For some time now, I’ve sensed a calling to help build the Church through these gifts. A few months ago, God began stirring my heart about Prayer House Ministry, a missional-based movement that equips and sends leaders to plant houses of prayer. At first, I believed I was simply being called to pray for their efforts, but over time, God softened my heart toward something more — to join them as a missionary. I was reminded of Matthew 9:37–38, where Jesus says: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” It became clear: God was calling me to step into the field. Prayer rooms are spaces where anyone can encounter the Lord through prayer and worship. They are places where believers can realign their hearts with God's heart. I believe prayer is the catalyst to revival. I’ve experienced firsthand the power of prayer, how it can shift atmospheres, and transform lives. I believe now is the time to partner with God to bring that transformation into our communities and culture. Missionary Aashish Subedi DONATE Hi my name is Aashish Subedi and I am from Nepal and now I am working with F&F Himalayas as a full time missionary. Before that I was from a Hindu family and there was bleeding from my mouth when I was 8 yrs old and we went to different hospitals for 2 years, did different rituals, sacrifices and offerings to idolatry. Instead of getting better , my body was weak and had no power. There was no strength and hope for me and for my family because we had been visiting each and every major hospital in Kathmandu and the doctors used to say there is nothing wrong with my body. He is normal. but I wasn’t. Then we were introduced to the Gospel when I was 10 years old (2008) and began attending church. After my mother's death, I walked away from my faith, leading to depression and substance addiction. Tried suicide by overdose so many times , I was tired of my life I questioned my purpose and sought God's guidance I attended a theological college in India and eventually they sent me back because I was HIV-positive. Despite the challenges, I held onto my faith and sought help from a mentor. In December 2021, I heard about YWAM and DTS in FF Himalayas (Discipleship Training School) through one of the staff. I prayed for God's guidance and found solace in serving God and I joined the team in 2022 after my DTS. I completed a three-month training of Discipleship Bible School (DBS) in Fire and Fragrance South Africa on 2023 December .That was God’s perfect plan.. Getting encountered by His living words is the best experience in my life and I have a gift of teaching that I do in different gatherings in churches with believers (parents) and with young people Working with YWAM (F&F Himalayas ) I am part of the activate circle where we carry a vision of a Youth Movement and for that we are: • Hosting Encounter Nights for local churches, equipping youth and leaders • Sharing the Gospel and their original identities. • Hosting Mini DTS events, inviting friends to see revival in their homes and in their community. • Youth camps are targeted at high school and college students, encouraging them to believe in Jesus, help them to grow through discipleship • Partnering with local churches and traveling to Nepal and internationally to connect with believers and young people • Helping to end the Bible poverty by reaching to the unreached places and teaching them following up the churches with different teachings and training practices • Interceding for 10:40 countries China / tibet and Egypt for the kingdom of heaven come onto those nations and raising up the leaders Currently I am building a team of investors who will give $2,000 a month, which will allow me to fully serve what God is doing in my nation for the youth movement and across Nepal.
