  • Julia Shatswell

Missionary Julia Shatswell DONATE Hi! My name is Julia Shatswell and I am a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Kona, Hawaii! I have decided that if ever there is a good time to devote time to ministry, now is the time in my life to take a break from my traditional school path to devote my 20’s to Jesus! (and the rest of my life of course!) I graduated from High School in 2020 and choose to stay home instead of immediately pursuing my university studies during a time when everyone else was doing remote learning in their dorms. This was a pivotal time because God was able to get ahold of my heart and I learned that my hopes and dreams are not based on anything I can do in my strength alone. My plans included getting a degree in Graphic Design from a school close to home and take baby steps in my faith walk. I never dreamed that the Lord would light a fire of surrender and give me a passion and desire to travel to the nations and share the Good News that Jesus brings!! The difference in who I was 3 years ago and who I am today is huge. God has given me a passion to be on the frontlines of my generation and in places and spaces that will allow me to speak to people of all ages in any country in the world. I did my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Fall 2022 and went with a team of 14 to do an outreach in the Philippines. It was here that God marked me for this generation. Gen Z may look like a lost generation, but they are desperate for Truth and anything that is Real. I believe that Gen Z is going to be a generation rooted in Christ and they will run to the ends of the earth with the Gospel, and I want to be a part of it. My heart is especially moved toward the young women of my generation and how God has created each and every one of us uniquely beautiful. I want to speak love, life, and our true identity in Christ over everyone I come across. That is why I am excited for this next season where I will be doing leadership track, staffing, and leading a team to the nations. This consists of me being trained to be the best that I can be, then mentoring a group of up to 9 girls. Then I will co-lead a team of young adults to wherever God calls me. This is at least a 9-month journey and I need your help. Knowing that my friends and family from all over the world are covering me in prayer and contending for the work of the Lord to be completed is a tremendous blessing and the most valuable contribution that anyone can make on my behalf. Many of you have asked how you can financially support this effort. If you are interested in making a one-time donation or have the means to contribute to this work on a monthly basis, please follow the link below. All contributions are tax deductible. Because missions is a full time job, I am not able to work while I am staffing the DTS or while I am on the mission field. I need to raise $1,500 of monthly support This covers my food, transportation, housing, flights, leadership track, and outreach costs. Thank you for investing in the Kingdom. Your support will be a tremendous help and it will give me the freedom to focus on the variety of ministry opportunities as the Lord wills. Thank you for investing in the greatest commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20 For His Glory, Julia LaRen Donate

  • Jacob & Amy Smith

MISSIONARY Jacob & Amy Smith DONATE Greetings in Christ from the Smith family. We hope you will consider partnering with us in pursuing the ministry that God has called us to. Please read on to familiarize yourself a little bit with our hearts and our journey. Grace and Peace. The Smiths Jacob desires to display God’s beauty before God’s people in word and deed. He hopes to do this in order to help position them to be compelled by the Holy Spirit to know God more and to treasure him above all things. Jacob aspires to do this through lifelong, gospel ministry in the local church, for this is God’s good design to make his manifold wisdom known (Eph 3:10). By heralding the gospel through Holy Spirit-empowered preaching, providing theologically rich teaching, and gentle, loving pastoral care, he hopes to help present others mature in Christ. In short, Jacob desires to shepherd the flock lovingly, gently, and patiently in order to lead them into a deeper knowledge of and greater affection for God and in order to pass on this gospel to future generations. To this end, the Smith family is moving to Kansas City! Jacob has completed his MDiv at Bethlehem Seminary in Minneapolis, MN, and now he, his wife Amy, and their brand new daughter, Evelyn LeeBeth, are joining Emmaus Church in Kansas City, MO, to continue Jacob’s pastoral training. Jacob has been accepted into a two-year pastoral residency program at Emmaus Church. While taking part in the Emmaus Pastoral Residency (EPR), he, along with others in his resident cohort, will aim to grow in preaching, teaching, pastoral counseling, and other areas of pastoral ministry under the direct training, shepherding, and oversight of the elders. While Jacob participates in the residency, Amy hopes to continue to grow in her singing and musical gifts. She desires to continue to minister to other Christians and serve the local church through worship leading, and has served in this capacity throughout her life. After the two-year residency, Jacob hopes to be affirmed by the elders in his calling to pastoral ministry and commissioned by Emmaus to accept a call to pastor a local church or to plant a church. Right now, the Smiths sense God calling them to pastoral ministry in a cross-cultural setting. They hope to be commissioned by Emmaus to minister in this capacity in order to help spread the gospel through the local church in a context with much gospel need. Would you consider partnering prayerfully and/or financially with Jacob and the Smith family in his journey to pastoral ministry and the family’s journey to serve the church in the future? Donate

  • Gabriel Kokins

Missionary Gabriel Kokins DONATE I’m currently serving with Circuit Riders, a movement of young missionaries empowered by Youth With A Mission, committed to reaching our generation with the gospel. As a tour leader, I have the privilege of helping lead teams across universities, cities, and nations—preaching the gospel, equipping believers, and calling the lost home. Every tour is marked by worship, evangelism, training, and bold faith, because we believe Jesus is worthy of an entire generation. Our mission is simple: save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all. Through this work, I also get to disciple and invest in young man—helping them grow deeply in their relationship with God, step into their calling, and use their gifts to impact the world around them. I genuinely burn to see my generation know God, walk in freedom, and live as bold messengers of the gospel. But I can’t do this alone. As a full-time missionary, I don’t receive a salary. Instead, I rely on a team of people who partner with me financially to make this mission possible—covering essentials like housing, food, and travel. Right now, I’m working toward building a team of monthly supporters totaling $2,000. If you feel stirred to be part of what God is doing through this mission, I would be incredibly grateful for your support—whether through giving, prayer, or simply sharing this. Thank you for believing in this vision and helping reach a generation. Gabriel Donate

  • Carla Foord

Missionary Carla Foord DONATE Hi everyone My name is Carla and I am 24 years old. I am currently in Potchefstroom and serving full time at Fire and Fragrance. I did my discipleship training school this year and the Lord marked my heart for missions. He called me to be a minister to His people and to partner with Him to set captives free from chains that have been holding them back from stepping into who and what God has made them to be. I said yes to His invitation and felt called to join a ministry called Woven. This specific ministry, which falls under mercy ministries, has three phases namely, Evangelism, Discipling, and Training/Equipping (in order to get them off the street). In this ministry, our team is dedicated to help women break free from the cycle of prostitution, and provide them with the support they need to rebuild their lives. We’re currently working with four women, who we have assisted to get off of the streets. This ministry was pioneered last year and we are still in the beginning stages of developing a product line. The women were taught how to sew scrunchies and it has been incredible to witness how they have grown in their sewing skills as well as in their identity as daughters of God. All of the products we sell are handmade by them, with the goal of providing a way to earn a dignified income. This ministry also goes out every week to the same corner in town where women usually go to work at night. We share the gospel with them and the love of Christ. We have developed sweet friendships with the women and have seen many of them accepting Jesus in their hearts. During the week we have bible studies with the women in prostitution as well as a men’s bible study. We spend time in the Word and build relationship with them. Our goal with the weekly bible study is to create a space where they can encounter the love of God and be transformed in their hearts and minds to get a better understanding of who God is and who He has created them to be. We also give out bibles to those who are in need. Although this has been a hard decision to make, I really feel like this is where God is leading me. It is such an honor to say yes because I know that He is a good shepherd and He leads me to green pastures. Will you be willing to partner with me financially in this season to see His justice and mercy prevail in these women and men's lives? While financial support is needed, so is prayer. I am grateful for you and hope you will consider supporting me one way or another! Carla Donate

  • Paetyn Allen

Missionary Paetyn Allen DONATE My name is Paetyn Allen. I’m a full-time missionary with YWAM. My heart is to see the next generation walk in their God-given identity and freedom in Christ. This would inspire them to fully surrender their lives to Jesus and share His love with others. My goal is to help create a Biblical foundation in people’s lives for a life-time discipleship with Jesus. When I did my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), it was then that God broke my heart for those that don’t have a relationship with Him. I was radically changed and impacted by the Gospel with a new perspective and a heart for the lost. There’s about 3.3 billion people around the world who’ve never heard of the Gospel! 3.3 billion people who have never had an opportunity to have a relationship with God. During my Bible School in 2022, God shared with me His heart for Japan. This is a country of rich history and beautiful culture that represents honor and excellency to a high degree but has no idea they were created for a greater purpose. This is a people group that is bound to conformity and lack of identity, but that’s not the story that God has for them. I’ve seen Japanese people light up with joy of the Lord, step out in boldness and hold a deep reverence to Jesus. I desire to see Japan reached and revived with the Gospel of Jesus. I will be working with YWAM Japan to pioneer an English ministry and participate in various other ministries throughout Osaka. The desire is to create Kingdom centered classrooms that allow room for the Lord’s grace and love to be displayed. As well as to encourage fellow believers to step out in their faith and witness the Lord move in Japan. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age…” Mathew 28:19-20 As Christians, we have a role to PRAY, GIVE and GO (Intercession, Tithing and Teaching). As for me, God has called me to GO but I need people to partner with me to fulfill this calling. Would you consider praying about partnering with me in seeing Japan radically changed in freedom and truth? Blessings, Paetyn P.S. • Eliza Klaski

Missionary Eliza Klaski DONATE Hey! My name is Eliza Klaski, I am 20 years old and I am currently living overseas as a worker in Türkiye! I am part of a team here that is living and becoming a part of the community in which we have relocated and planted roots. The nation I am living in is what is known as a closed nation, meaning that it is not open to the good news. For that reason what I am writing here may sound vague, but I will do my best to explain it to you. In 2021, I visited Türkiye and absolutely fell in love with it. The people stole my heart and I longed to return for the next two years. Relationships, community, and family are all so important here, and those are things that I love. I have always found it easier to connect with people as their friend and confidant than as a stranger. This all goes hand in hand so well, and that is what the focus of my time here is. For my first two years my biggest focus is learning the language with the goal of fluency and communication in order to be able to reach and connect with more people. The Lord has so much in store for this nation and this people, and I know that this is where I am supposed to be. I am beyond excited to be able to be a part of the way He is moving in this city and in this nation. I am very thankful for those of you that are supporting me from home, because without you I could not be here, being obedient to what the Lord is doing. Blessings, Eliza K Donate

  • Aria Johnson

MISSIONARY Aria Johnson DONATE Hi, my name is Aria, and I love Jesus! I grew up going to church, but a little over a year ago I encountered Jesus like never before at a Carry the Love stop at my school during my senior year. Carry the Love is a nationwide college tour out of Circuit Riders that spreads the gospel, and encourages students to ‘Carry the Love’ of Jesus. During the stop at my school I saw authentic faith being lived out, felt contagious joy, and wanted more of it; I wanted more of Jesus. A hunger not only grew to know more of Jesus, but to join this community. I joined Circuit Riders this past fall, and went on the very tour (Carry the Love) that changed my life. The Lord broke out like crazy everywhere we went, and we saw the power of Jesus transform the lives and hearts of college students. My heart for college missions has never been bigger. There is a narrative that college is the time that you leave God behind, and explore, but I found Jesus in college, and it is my heart to see college students to the same. This year I’m going back to join Circuit Riders on staff, and could not be more excited! If you have any questions please email me! Donate

  • Roland & Ingeborg Bahozi

MISSIONARY Roland & Ingeborg Bahozi DONATE We are Roland and Ingeborg Bahozi, together with our son, Seth, we live in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Congo is a beautiful country, but it also has many problems. There is a lot of poverty, violence and rape. We started the organization Action Uruma. Uruma means mercy or compassion in Swahili. It is our vision to be a family to the children and youth that don’t have one; orphans, street children and children without a functioning family. In our care we focus on three things: education, health care and discipleship. We started a primary school in a village that has gone through a lot of violence. Through education, the children have a chance to break the circle of poverty. We also teach them who God is so that in the future, these children will become leaders in this country who lead according to God’s heart. Besides that, we focus on health care. Ingeborg is a pediatrician and we have the passion to help children in need. There are children dying unnecessarily of treatable conditions. We want to bring a change by starting a medical clinic for mothers and children in the slum area of Goma. Last we also focus on discipleship. Let children become part of our family, through which they receive love, comfort and care. Our primary motivation is our faith in God; He is a loving father that gives us the example. He gave His son so that we can become part of His family. We would love to join hearts and join hands in our work and vision. Do you want to become part of this family and be involved in the lives of the children and youth we are working with? For more information look at our website www.actionuruma.org. Donate
