Missionary Mariá Ruiz DONATE Hello everyone! My name is Mariá Ruiz, I am from Brazil, the oldest of a big family, with a passion for new experiences, cultural exchange and social development. My journey in missions started in 2019 when I was about to finish Law School. After some preparation, I left my career as a lawyer in 2021 to become a full-time volunteer among indigenous tribes in Brazil. Living with these communities for a year and a half was a profound experience that shaped how I see God in every culture and people. Following this direction to reach other nations, I moved in 2023 to Worcester dedicating myself to serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in South Africa. As part of YWAM, we are involved in various ministries, including rehab, hospital, prison, church, maintenance, door-to-door, and community development. We have been training young people in an international and African context, taking them to different nations to apply what they learned, as so, they can see themselves as change makers in their local communities. Currently, I am engaged with a prison ministry and in the leadership of a Discipleship Training School in South Africa. Soon we will be on outreach in Southeast Asia for three months in closed countries to the Gospel. Missionary Hadassa Vialta DONATE Hello everyone! My name is Hadassa Vialta and I am currently serving as a missionary with YWAM Ships Kona. In 2024 the Lord called me to leave all my life behind and just follow Him, whatever it costs. I confess that was hard to understand, because I was in a good job in Brazil, I was conquering some things in my personal life and I was "building" what people expected about me. But I couldn't deny, I did listen to the Lord calling me. My heart was burning every single day. After I said "YES" He sent me to Kona, in Hawaii, to serve the YWAM Base as a volunteer for a couple of months. During this period, the Lord helped me to understand that there are people around this world He really loves and He wanted me to be part of His plans for the least reached. Missionary Weber Sun DONATE We are the Weber family, originally from China, currently engaged in cross-cultural missions in the Philippines. Since arriving in the Philippines, we have deeply felt the local young people's love for music and witnessed their deep longing for meaning and truth. We believe that music can be a bridge to spread the gospel and build relationships. In schools, churches, and communities, we introduce young people to the love of Jesus Christ through music classes, worship sharing, and youth gatherings. Many, inspired by a song or a lyric, have begun to listen to the gospel and open their hearts. We have witnessed God's miraculous work in their lives and have deeply felt His presence. Our vision is to touch hearts through music, enabling young people to understand and experience the truth of the gospel. However, we also clearly understand that the gift of music alone is not enough. To more fully respond to the Lord's calling, we are preparing to enter a theological training phase, systematically studying biblical truth and cross-cultural missions courses. Missionary Caitlin Vogel DONATE Hi guys! If you’re here, that means you want to learn more about me and the ministry that I’m currently a part of. For the last decade, I’ve felt a deep pull on my heart to be part of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations and, more specifically, within the UK. Last year, I started this journey by doing a Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). This year, I’ve come back to Harpenden, England, as a full-time missionary. My everyday life often differs from that of the average person. I live, work, and maintain friendships in the same place. It’s such an exciting time to be serving God and living a life of adventure and risk. My main ministry focus is with our kids’ ministry on base, which we call ‘Wildfires.’ I work with kids aged five to ten, enriching them with lessons from the Bible, and deepening their knowledge of who God is and how he loves them. I also work at the coffee shop on our base, where I’m able to pour into the community through hospitality and servanthood. This is a great ministry because it’s a place where people love to gather, we can create conversation, and exhibit what we stand for through our actions. In the upcoming year, I’ll be stepping into a new role as staff for a Discipleship Training School, so I will have the opportunity to lead, encourage, and disciple others into their identity in Christ and their own missional callings. This is also a time when we go out into the nations and share the word of God with those who may not have had the opportunity to hear it. It’s a privilege to do this, but also a sacrifice in some ways, as I lay down a life of comfort and certainty for one of even greater reward. Friends, this is something I do, not for my own gain, but for what I believe to be the call on my life. I do this to be a servant, a leader, and bring what I believe to be the gift of life and truth to the world. I have recently made a two year commitment with a non-profit organization called YWAM, or Youth With A Mission. YWAM Brisbane has cultivated a strong reputation for its ability to produce strong Godly leaders and the Basic Leadership School (BLS) plays a vital role in achieving those outcomes. I work with a team to implement training for budding leaders to learn how to partner with God in leadership as they each walk more fully in their God-given identity and influence groups of people both in Australia and around the world. My role as a DTS Staff includes mentoring, training, assessment, and exhortation both in and out of the classroom. In my role I spend the first three months coming beside the students and walking with them through each challenge they come across, then I spend the next three months planning and leading a team on their outreach and being the bridge between each local contact and our students. YWAM Brisbane has cultivated a strong reputation for its ability to produce strong Godly leaders and the Basic Leadership School plays a vital role in achieving those outcomes. Missionary Joanie Moniz DONATE My name is Joanie, and I have been serving as a full-time missionary in the Philippines since 2008. My journey began with short-term mission trips between 1998 and 2008, which God used to stir a deep love in my heart for the Filipino people. From the very first time I stepped foot in the Philippines, I was moved by the hunger and openness of the people toward Jesus. Each trip was filled with powerful moments during concert and healing crusades, and I knew God was calling me to something more permanent. One thing that deeply burdened me during those early trips was the lack of consistent follow-up for new believers. Many would encounter Jesus during the crusades, but there was little opportunity for discipleship and growth. I cried out to God about this, and in His perfect timing, He answered. In 2003, I joined a team led by my new pastor and Pastor Jill under Church Multiplication Coalition (CMC). This opened the door for me to become part of the very follow-up ministry I had prayed for, where I could help guide new believers in their walk with Christ. The vision of CMC quickly became my own: to see a church planted in every barangay (village) across the Philippines. I am currently stationed on the island of Cebu, where I also operate three weekly feeding programs. These programs serve over 100 children each week—not just with food for their bodies, but with the Bread of Life for their souls. It is one of my greatest joys to pour into the next generation and see them encounter Jesus in a real and lasting way. Alongside my local ministry, I continue to travel with Pastor Jill and the CMC team to conduct 5–10 crusades annually throughout Luzon. I serve in evangelism, prayer ministry, school and home outreach, and follow-up—ensuring that every soul reached has the opportunity to grow. Ministry is my full-time calling, and I pour myself into it wholeheartedly, even using my spare time to reach out and serve wherever I can. As a faith-based missionary, I rely entirely on the Lord’s provision through the generosity and prayers of others.
