Missionary Jamie & Natalie McLeod DONATE Hi Friends, We are Jamie & Natalie McLeod and our kids Hudson & Ariella. We live in the ski resort town of Mammoth Lakes, California. We pastor a little church called 'Lighthouse' that consists mostly of young adventurers who ski/snowboard, climb, hike the John Muir Trail, and any other extreme sport possible. We also are part of a global movement based out of our Church in Mammoth Lakes. We help to oversee and lead leaders all over the world. Currently we have a church full of young people who are here for either the ski season and work at the ski resort, or are with us for the summer season and work for the fire crews, bike park, etc.. Many of these people don't know the Lord yet, or have fallen away and are very hesitantly moving back toward a relationship with Jesus. It's beautiful to get to lead them into the arms of Jesus no matter where they are in life. Lighthouse is also a global movement, part of our work with the global movement is expansion/church planting. We get to meet up with leaders and future leaders all over the world and help them find a way to start Lighthouse Churches in ski resorts and remote places where many are unreached by the gospel. It is always amazing to experience the same heart of adventure and excitement as well as the deep soul-searching in each of these places. They might be the wealthiest places in the world, but they have some of the poorest people working there, as well as some of the people with the greatest need for the Lord. Missionary Luke Balandran DONATE My name is Luke I’m 21, I’m from Corona California; Jesus is my everything, I will die as a Lover of Christ. I’ve given my life to see the lost saved, the saved revived, and my generation fully alive and in a relationship with God; I've decided Jesus is worth my everything. I’m a part of a missions organization called Circuit Riders, We go to college campuses with an event called “Carry The Love”, which is the gospel, sharing the Love of Jesus and a call to truly giving Jesus our yes. We have training Schools called CRX (Circuit Riders Experience) where young people from all over the world come to Huntington Beach to get disciplined, trained and sent out on our tours Called Carry the Love. I am one of the Leaders of the CRX and tour and I truly am passionate about seeing my generation that was once deemed hopeless, absolutely revived and radical for Jesus. I’ve seen students come in with fear of sharing their faith leave with crazy boldness, sharing the gospel with everyone no matter the cost. I’ve seen students on Campus who have never heard the Gospel, give their lives to Jesus from just the simple Gospel being presented. The simple Gospel still works just like in the book of Acts; it’s still happening, I’m joining in this mission to see people come to Christ. But I can’t do this alone. I’m constantly building a support team of people who will pray with me, invest financially, and help fuel what God is doing in me with Circuit Riders. Circuit Riders is a branch of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and we are all about saving the lost, reviving the saved, and training them all. I grew up as a missionary kid in Okinawa, Japan. Because of my upbringing, I understand the need for leaders and laborers in this era. Growing up in Church I always felt close to God and as a young child, I knew I was called to ministry but I never knew what that looked like until now. Missionary Tshegofatso Thutlwane DONATE Hi, I am Tshegofatso Thutlwane, I was born and raised in South Africa in the North West province in a small town called Zeerust. I gave my life to the Lord when I was 18 years old. I was at the end of my High-school years. Growing up, deep down I somehow knew I was not going to work a normal 9-5 job, but when I asked the Lord what I should do after High-school I felt Him say that should go to the University of Potchefstroom. At that time, I didn’t even know what to study but I applied and went to study because the Lord said that I should. I only studied for a year, but looking back now that whole year I was at University, the Lord did so much in my life and led to where He was calling me. Beginning of that year, He spoke to me about doing a six month mission school, with an organization that was based in Potch, called Fire & Fragrance South Africa. If I had not been in Potch, I don’t know how I would have found out about it, because I didn’t know much about church and ministry. That same year the Lord also gave me a burning heart for University Students, a heart to see University Students say “YES” to God. Now I am part of the University ministry in Fire & Fragrance. We want to see young people/University students know God and make Him known. I deeply believe that when educated young people know God and make Him known, we will see positive change in our country and in the world! One of the questions that the Lord asked me, was, “What would it look like if every University Student said “yes” to the calling of God on their lives?” And for me that’s the question I keep asking myself. I believe that we will see a Student missions movement out of South Africa, where educated young people will go from this nation to the rest of the world to preach the gospel and bring reformation where it is needed through their studies. Bob saw this model was beginning to give way to many being called by God and sent to the field directly by a sending church or missional community to either pioneer and birth new works or join with an established indigenous team of ministry leaders in another nation or here in the USA. EquipNet was formed to provide the services and to undergird the burgeoning virtual army of independent missionaries seeking to go to the field. These were missionaries with good and strong accountability structures, training and experience, already in place, but lacking the services and donor care and processing structures provided by older traditional sending agencies. EquipNet found immediate eagerness to affiliate, on the part of many such missionaries and their churches, who wanted to more deeply live out their Local Church prerogative and mandate to send, but who did not have the capacity or desire to carry out the donor processing and donor services component of the sending and missionary care process. Having collectively spent decades in the missionary fundraising world raising, both personal and project support, the EquipNet Team has built a very robust and cutting edge technology platform that serves both missionaries and churches. We provide all the logistical back end support to both the missionary and their donors that is typically provided by traditional sending agencies. Because all EquipNet Missionaries are deeply vetted and already have their accountability and member care needs met by their local sending church, an advisory board or an existing ministry they are joining, EquipNet is able to keep our cost to the missionary and the donor one of the lowest available.
