MISSIONARY Danielle Braun DONATE I am a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) missionary to Norway! I am located just south of Tromso, at a base called Borgen (it’s the most northern YWAM base in the world!). I completed my DTS (discipleship training school), at this base in March of 2017, and I will be heading back there in the fall to participate as staff in the next years DTS. DTS completely changed my life from struggling to see how and where God was in this crazy world to knowing without a doubt that He walks with us every day through everything! That paired with our focus on Justice, and what God’s justice is for our world has grabbed my heart and isn’t letting go. As I go back I will be a part of mentoring the new students the exact same way I was last year, to walk with them as they are seeing God move in their lives in incredible and powerful ways. We are equipping them to do what Jesus tells us to do in Matthew 28:19, go and teach all the nations! The Proclamation Task Mission Organization Donate The Proclamation Task (PT) is a ministry and registered NGO charitable organization in Uganda. PT promotes biblical priorities in the local church, centered on the diligent study of God's Word for a faithful proclamation of the Gospel message. Our ministry, established in 1999, has a five-prong approach. Pastoral Training: We equip bible teachers and biblical preachers to be godly leaders who are diligent in studying, faithful in expounding and relevant in applying God's Word Shalom Effort: We reach women with Bible teaching and encourage them to nurture fellow women in Christ. We share with pastors' wives practical and sustainable ways to supplement their household income as per Proverbs 31. Student Initiative: We travel to local universities and colleges to teach the Bible and train Christian students to correctly handle the Bible message in their setting. Missionary Chloe Thompson DONATE Hi there! I’m Chloe, a twenty-something-year-old Georgia girl who loves Jesus. I’m thriving in the freedom I’ve received through the power of the Gospel, and I hold this vision to witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ reach the hearts of those who feel broken, lost, and unworthy. Before my 25th birthday, I admitted to the Lord that I was tired of wrestling with Him and vowed to no longer tell Him “no.” At the end of 2022, the Lord completely arrested my heart for the things that burden His heart. Missionary Chloe Tackett DONATE Hey, I'm Chloe, and this is my story. At a young age, I met the Lord. I came from a Christian Heritage of musicians, evangelists, and missionaries. I gave my life to Jesus when I was 8 years old in kids church and got baptized shortly after that decision. Throughout the ages of 8-14, I longed for Jesus, but felt pieces of my identity were not being filled like I thought they would. I never realized at that time that my WHOLE identity was meant to be in Christ and from Christ alone. Not the people I met, not the circumstances I went through and overcame with the Lord, but it was his presence that changed everything for me. I encountered a deeper love for Jesus and his spirit when I was 15 years old, reading about Jesus' crucifixion in the book of Matthew. My heart received God's forgiveness in fullness over my life as I was reading the scriptures and since that day, the fire that God burned on my heart for his presence has just grown stronger and stronger every day of my life. That night, I had a thought from the Lord that his presence through me was going to take me outside the walls of his church. At 15 years old, I had no idea what that meant, but years later now at 20 years old, I know now that the Lord said that to me because he was preparing for me to step into full-time missions. And what a beautiful opportunity it has been to have done training as a student in Circuit Riders for 6 months to now stepping into a staff role full time with them! As a staff member in Circuit Riders, I will be trained to disciple, teach, and send out other missionaries, as well as be sent out to different nations myself. While I'm on missions, I am looking for people to partner with me monthly in my finances. With your help and support, I am believing God to raise $3,000 in monthly support by August 1. This monthly support will cover my living expenses and accommodations, making it possible for me to continue serving faithfully on the field. For two decades, Shanghai was home, and I built a life there as a filmmaker and educator, working in various international schools and telling stories through Available Light Films and the Cities of Love franchise. In March 2020 doors opened to live in Manila for the first time. What's unfolded since has been the slow, unmistakable hand of God building something I beyond anything I could have asked for or imagined - a life now collaborating with ministry partners like Generations Home, Joshua Care International Foundation, and Hillsong Manila Connect. What this ministry is about I serve vulnerable children at the intersection of community, storytelling, and learning through play. At Joshua Care International Foundation, I serve as Vice Chair and Director of Whole Child Development & Community Engagement, walking alongside children in residential care as they heal and grow. I also partner with Generations Home, helping steward their church partnerships and support their Independent Living Program for for young people transitioning out of care. And through Hillsong Manila Connect’s Significant Sustainable Social Impact team, I help connect this work with partners like Joshua Care International Foundation, and the Onesimo Foundation. James 1:27 anchors all of it: pure religion is the practice of caring for the vulnerable. Why I'm asking you to pray According to data from Generations Home, 4.4 million children are living with neither parent, 2.8 million children are out of school, 2.4 million children have lost at least one parent, 1.4 million children are involved in child labor, 828,000 children are involved in hazardous or exploitative work, and approximately 660,000 children are unregistered and unseen by any system meant to protect them. Please pray also, specifically, for the children in JCI's care, for healing where there's been trauma, for stability that lets them trust again, and for real opportunity ahead, not just getting by. Missionary Travis Jens DONATE My name is Travis, and a couple of years ago I got marked to go to the nations and share the gospel. Since then, God has been leading me into that. Last year I partnered with the organization called YWAM (which stands for Youth With A Mission). This organization is focused on training young people in; evangelism, preaching, worship leading and any other forms of ministry. Last year I was a student, and went on a three month outreach to the nation of Cyprus. While living there, my one job was to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the lost people. Cyprus is mainly a muslim nation, so it was very stretching for me. It broadened my viewpoint on how many people not only don’t know about Jesus, but how many people have been lied to their whole lives about who He is. And that really encouraged me to tell them the truth. With that being said, I will be going back with YWAM this January as part of the staff. From there, I will lead and teach young people in all of the forms of ministry that I was trained in. Then after 3 months of intense lectures and training, I will be leading a team of about 10 people to the nation of Uganda. There, we will join with the church movement that is already established, and help push forward the gospel in east Africa. We will be speaking in many churches around the nation, encouraging and uplifting the people of Uganda to share Jesus with everyone! Now that you know where I was, what I was doing, and why, I need your help to get to this next season. I need help in two ways; prayer and finances. My goal is to raise about $2,000 to $3,000 a month. This would cover multiple expenses, such as; flights, food, transportation, housing, ministry opportunities, and the needed vaccines for Uganda.
